With the deal Rai let Ken go with Sani while he said he would follow.
Rai's face was instantly changed when Sani and Ken were confirmed to have left.
There was another purpose waiting for him there. Rai actually could not calm down because he had not returned to confirm Hyerin whether he was conscious or the situation was still the same.
Rai hurriedly readied himself like taking a breath, improving his appearance, and reassuringly returned to meet with Hyerin.
"We'll meet again." Rai said to himself. He instantly disappeared from sight and his goal was none other than to meet Hyerin.
While Sani and Ken went elsewhere aimlessly, it could be mentioned as such since Ken was uncertain to mention his plan to Sani as an instruction.
Ken was sitting in a place far from the hustle of humans or spirits who look to and fro. Sani who saw him also instantly fell silent he began to be astonished by Ken's unusual state. Ken was more silent and daydreaming about something he was not told.
"What are you thinking about again?" Sani asked after a long wait.
Ken then looked at her without saying anything.
"There's something you're hiding, isn't it?" Sani's protest looks more unsettled.
Ken looked at her seriously. "Now that we can only save each other, I actually plan to terminate this contract because I alone cannot guarantee your safety Sani." Ken looks worried.
"It's halfway through, I didn't expect to be safe either. Tania alone can be lost especially with me who doesn't know anything." Sani replied lightly.
"Why do you say that, you should stay alive and fast. Please terminate this contract." Ken turned his body back to Sani, it seemed like he could no longer argue. His mind at that time was chaotic because it was not only about the safety of Sani, but about the demon that Rai had not mentioned earlier. Meeting Rai was a mistake that he understood now.
"And you? You wanna die like that?" Suddenly, Sani starts to get emotional.
"Have not been discussed again, we should focus on it now!" Cela Ken looks very stressed with her own mind. Ken again took a breath and shared his gaze in the other direction.
"Ken, enough with Tania. We can take care of each other!" Rengek Sani who could barely hold back his sadness at that moment. "And being open to each other, I know in this mission I'm just a new person but you can trust me to be even more useful!" Sani's words could instantly make Ken turn his attention towards her.
"I'm sorry, actually I'm just afraid to go back to sacrificing a lot of people on this mission that we ourselves don't know what for." Ken tried to calm Sani down with his words.
"But we can't go out either, can we? Running or not will eventually stay the same." Sani said something Ken never thought of. While in his heart Ken was very amazed because Sani could understand the situation not only around him but also the situation of his heart at that time. Ken no longer needed to say anything because what Sani said was true.
"You just assume that I approve of it and I promise you we can definitely find the truth."
"You must think the same. Life is very short and relationships are also very short. Now we live as humans and who knows if tomorrow we're stuck in this place." Dani brightly with a soft and relaxed tone was like enjoying the aroma of the crowd in front of her eyes at that moment.
"And something that's gone is the thing that's missed the most." Ken added Sani's story.
"How long has it been?" Sani asked as she returned Ken's gaze and then gave a small smile, indicating that if Sani was enjoying his life as a spirit that maybe he could forget one thing that his time was not left behind much.
"It's been a long time." Ken replied with a smile as well.
Both of them did enjoy togetherness as friends who were met accidentally in that place.
"Why are we so relaxed?" Followed by the laughter of Sani. His words allude to his life as a spirit.
"Just follow the plot, what can we do because everything will end in time."
Then Sani fell silent. But deep in his memory Sani began to again obscure every detail of the memory piece that came to his mind when he was alive as a human. Sani is very happy and loves his life wholeheartedly. Family, friends, someone he loves, everything he has. Before death comes. Sani never knew what the real reason he was in a place that many people said that life in this spirit world was a place for curious spirits, who had not yet finished with the promise, he said, or there is an unresolved desire. Sani could not remember it at all. But about the family he remembers a little, only a little. Sani's eyes immediately widened, now he sure does not remember anything.
Sani instantly looks uneasy he is confused with himself and with his memories slowly erased.
"Is something wrong?" Ken began to worry.
Sani did not reply he kept showing his agitated face.
"San, try to calm down and tell me!" Pinta Ken at the time. But his voice was not heeded as well, Sani did not immediately answer or say a single sentence.
Ken did not question her again with many questions, embracing both of Sani's shoulders until her body sank into Ken's arms. Ken had no idea what he was going to do to appease the Sani he saw back then in desperate need of his help.
"Ken, I can't remember their faces anymore, I can't remember anything anymore." Said Sani trying to reinforce every sentence that stammered because of the reluctance to cry.
Ken fell silent after hearing Sani's reasoning, it seemed to Ken that it wasn't something strange anymore that he seemed calmer when he listened to the reason.
"It's okay there's nothing to worry about." Ken is calming. "You know, every time a spirit stays here all its memories of the past will slowly disappear until there's nothing you can remember anymore."
Sani was immediately speechless as if very shocked listening to Ken's explanation. Like being struck by lightning in the middle of the day, he did not believe it and did not expect it to happen to him. What reason could he survive other than all the memories of his family. And now when it's all gone it feels like all the energy is drained out.
