Ayu was already at home, she chose to rest, after helping Naura with her schoolwork.

Sitting pensively inside the sofa, his mind returned as he spoke to Radit.

Yes, it was noon, Radit finally asked for a moment to talk to him, although in his heart he was afraid, but finally he allowed it on condition, Naura and Gino were not far from him.

Flashbacks

“Sorry, can we talk for a while .. There is something I want to say,” Radit said, when Ayu is done with her meal.

Ayu glanced at Gino and Naura at a glance, she was silent with various thoughts that raged, guessing what her ex-husband would talk about.

After he was silent for quite a while, Ayu finally nodded. “Alright, we talk there,” said Ayu pointing to a place near the middle floor divider.

Radit did not refuse, he immediately agreed to it, then walked first. While Ayu switched first to Naura.

“Darling, you wait here with Mr. Gino first yes, Mama want to talk with om who was,” said Ayu, so gently.

Naura stared at Ayu so intensely, she did not like her mother talking alone with a man other than her family. However, he eventually nodded his head, although his face still looked bent.

Ayu smiled then gently rubbed the top of Naura's head repeatedly. “Thank you, baby. Mama promised nothing would happen,” said Ayu.

He glanced at Gino who was standing behind Naura, then nodded faintly, like giving a code to convince his personal driver, before catching up with Radit who was waiting for him.

“What's up, Bang?” ayu asked, as soon as he reached Radit's side, while still giving some distance between the two.

Radit smiled wryly when he saw Ayu's attitude that seemed to clarify the distance between them which now felt very far, since his mistake two years ago.

“You haven't changed, still remain as soft as you used to be,” Radit said. Ever since seeing his ex-wife break into the restaurant where he works, he's been watching her.

Ayu who was so calm and gentle, reminded him of the past. Although it is undeniable, his large stomach is a sign that now the woman has become the property of others, also broke all the thoughts of the mother so far.

Ayu glanced at Radit at a glance, then turned her eyes back, at the atmosphere inside the shopping center that felt increasingly crowded. “Thank you.” Just that word, which came out of Ayu's mouth, in response.

Radit smiled again, his gaze turning to Ayu's enlarged stomach. “How many months, his age?” ask Radit.

Ayu who was aware of Radit's gaze, stroked her stomach while smiling faintly. “Stropping thirty-two weeks.”

Nodding his head, then dropping his gaze on the floor below, Radit walked towards the side of the fence, leaning his body there.

“Congratulations yes, may you always be given health and give birth smoothly later. I'm happy to see you now,” said Radit, seeing Ayu's face at a glance.

Ayu took two steps, to get closer to Radit, even though the distance between the two was not eroded.

“How are you brother and mother now?” ask Ayu. Seeing Radit's calm demeanor, Ayu opened up a little.

“Mother, fine. He is still undergoing therapy to restore the conditions affected by stroke. As for me, as you can see .. I am good with my present life,” Radit replied.

“I'm sorry, for all my mistakes, I'm sorry even now. My life feels unsettled after your departure, guilt like haunting me every night,” Radit said, full of regrets. The look on his face turned sad with pleading eyes.

Ayu fell silent, she stiffened slightly, as she recalled the pain that the male figure before her had allowed. Not a grudge, only it was still the bus he felt until now.

“I've forgiven Brother for a long time, no need to think about it, Bang. Now that we have lived each of our lives, then no longer bound to the past, so that our steps feel light.”

Ayu stared at the full face of her ex-husband, even that gentle and friendly smile had returned. The eyes of both of them were adrift for a while, until Ayu finally decided.

Radit lowered his gaze with guilt and also admiration mixed within him. It is undeniable that the gentle and friendly attitude is also the smile, which became the charm of an Ayu in his eyes since the first time he for example first.

“Thank you, you've forgiven me. All your words are true, I should not remember that time,” Radit said.

There was a little relief in the drama of his heart, like a burden there disappeared even though not all of it.

“One more time thank you. Now I can live my life in peace,” Radit continued back.

Ayu smiled, she nodded in response to Radit's words. His mind is now in Mala's condition.

“Abang, do you know about Mala?” ask Ayu.

Radit nodded, and he was contacted by his two former in-laws a few months ago, before they took the woman abroad for treatment.

“Yes, I already know everything,” Radit replied.

“He is now better, I got word that his treatment there caused a reaction and reduction of cancer cells.” Ayu looked up a few days ago, when she got an email from Mala.

“Really? You still in touch with him?” radit asked half in disbelief.

Ayu nodded in response. “I've made peace with the past, Bang.  I hope in the future Brother can also be like me,” said Ayu.

“For what do we remember all that, if it only makes a stumbling block that blocks our steps? Wouldn't it be better, we make it a lesson, to spur us to be better?” ask Ayu later.

“Forget is hard, Bang. But making peace and forgiving everything that has passed, will be better than continuing to think about it, or regret it. It will only cause illness for us, from liver disease to physical illness, which unknowingly comes from ourselves.”

Radit nodded, he was being slapped and made aware of every single soft word Ayu had, but, pierced right into his heart.

During this time he and Sari have not been able to make peace with the past, especially emotions that still hold in the heart.

Ayu took a deep breath then exhaled her all at once, with a bright smile on her face. “Alright, if there is nothing more to talk about, I want to go home first. Pity my son has waited a long time since,” said Ayu, deciding on a short conversation between himself and Radit.

Radit looked at Ayu's smiling face at a little girl who was waiting for the two not far from their existence. He followed the direction of the gaze for a while, then nodded with a heavy heart feeling. “Thank you for talking to me. I hope in the future we can still be friends like before .. only limited to friends,” said Radit.

Ayu smiled, but then she shook her head. “It's not appropriate that I have a friend of a man, Bang. But, if you want, you can be good friends with my husband. I will accept the friendship that was opened directly by him, because he is my priest now,” said Ayu, he subtly refused.

“We can still relate well, even if not with the status of friends, it's just that through my husband. I don't want him to think anything non-no about our relationship. However, we are bound by the former relationship, which will be as a spark of suspicion, if they see the closeness between us,” explained Ayu.

Radit nodded, he was aware of a situation that was now very different.

“I said yes, Bang. Assalamualaikum,” said Ayu, nodding her head at a glance, with both hands cupped in front of her chest.

“Waalikumsalam,” replied Radit shriek.

Staring at Ayu's departure, who was walking further and further away with the two people at her side and behind her.

“Mama really long,” grumbled Naura, while holding the possessive arm of Ayu, then took her out of the shopping center.

“Sorry, dear. Naura is tired, right? We just go home, yes,” said Ayu, while continuing to walk.

“Hem, I want to do schoolwork first, then take a break,” nod Naura.

“Ya already, if so later Mama help make yes,” bargain Ayu.

“Bby, but only direct yes, because Rara wants to do everything herself.”

Ayu immediately nodded in agreement.
