"What if we eat together?" keenan asked, it looks like it would be more fun if he ate one plate together with Riska.
At least with Riska, he could feel a little comforted and forget all the flavors that were still odd in his heart.
Yes, this afternoon he had indeed forgotten everything including Riska, for a moment he was only shackled by pain and memories of the past that suddenly returned.
He decides to go and make a pilgrimage to the tomb of his former lover, who is out of town, after getting all the explanations from Alana.
He needs time to restore his heart that has been drowned in the past, before he meets Riska again.
Yes, Aluna had died a few years ago, no one dared to tell Keenan, because that was what Luna had asked for before his departure.
Painful indeed, Keenan could barely control himself, when he heard the bad news.
However, he is currently in the process of forgetting Luna. However, when the past came back with shocking news like now, it all felt back to bring him in a heartbreak that almost disappeared.
Flashbacks
Keenan drove his car to his former hometown, where Luna was buried years ago.
Right now his mind was only on one name, until he unconsciously omitted the other. He was stuck in regret and uselessness in the past, until he could not accompany Luna at the end of his life.
"Luna, why are you doing this to me?" muttered Keenan, his hands clutching the steering wheel so firmly, trying to channel such a stifling pain within the chest.
"Aakhs!" his yell.
The speed of the car grew faster, when the road was quiet, he even passed the speed limit of driving.
Moments later, he stopped his car at one of the large tombs. Inhaling deeply and then exhaling violently, before pulling the car key lever.
Exit with repeated breaths, trying to eliminate the tightness that is so excruciating. Spreading his gaze until his eyes found a middle-aged man in charge of guarding the tomb.
His steps swayed closer to the middle-aged man who was cleaning one of the tombs there.
"Excuse me, sir," said Keenan, to make the man raise his head, seeing his whereabouts.
"Well, how can I help you?" ask the middle-aged man.
"I would like to ask the location of the tomb of Aluna who died a few years ago" Keenan said.
The middle-aged man then explained the location of the tomb that Keenan asked about, he even wanted to deliver it.
Bruk!
Keenan plopped down next to the grave bearing the full name of his former lover. His legs felt limp as if he could no longer support his body.
Along the way, he could not even accept and believe the bad news, so without a second thought, he immediately went to this place, to prove all the words of Alana.
Until now he could see with his own eyes. All these facts remain a blow to Keenan.
His eyes reddened the pressure of the water forcing him to come out. The pain in the chest, the more excruciating it becomes.
For a while, he was silent there, enjoying the sense that bound his soul and body, also pouring out all the grievances and anger.
It was getting dark when Keenan looked calmer, he inhaled and exhaled a long breath, until the tightness slowly disappeared.
Upholding the body and offering prayers, until only after Maghrib, he left the tomb. Walk back to his car parked on the side of the road.
He took the time to apologize to the tomb guards, for the mess he had just made, before finally getting into the car and leaving the tomb with a better feeling.
"Jeez, Riska! Why did I forget it?" muttered Keenan, as the memory of his promise to the wife flashed through his mind.
Keenan increased the speed of his car, passing the now crowded road, because along with people who just returned to work.
The guilt of his legal wife now feels domineering in him, although a sense of carelessness and shadow about someone from his past still exists.
Several times, he had been stuck in traffic, until he did not realize the time had gone long enough and now it was eight at night.
Tin ... tin!
The sound of a car horn behind him, making Keenan forced to lower the speed of the vehicle when he was close to his apartment. He knew who was in the car.
Stop by the side of the road, then get out of the car to meet the people inside.
"Sister" he said, when he had reached the side of the car at his back, there, there was Ezra waiting.
Ezra saw the appearance of the sister who was so messy, hair disheveled with dirty and shabby clothes. He shook his head in a sliced look at Keenan's current state.
"Follow me first!"
The slow but firm tone sounded more like an order, Keenan could not refuse the invitation from the older brother.
He then entered the passenger seat next to the driver, without asking the intention of Ezra's arrival. He knew for sure that his brother must have known everything.
All along the way, they were just cravings in silence. No one wants to take the initiative to open the voice first, until finally the car driven by Ezra has now reached his brother's house.
The atmosphere of the house feels lonely, although the heart is still not too late, Keenan frowned with the situation. Ayu did not usually welcome her husband.
Although very curious, however, his mouth was very difficult to open and asked Ezra. She chooses to but is silent and follows her brother's steps into the study.
"Have you satisfied, you know all the facts about that woman?" ezra asked, as soon as they sat on their seats.
Keenan stared at Ezra's face at a glance, he was never able to linger holding the sharp gaze of the elder brother. In appeal to his father's anger, Keenan would be more afraid of Ezra.
His sister looks more sinister and can give any punishment to him, if he is guilty. Unlike the father who just vent anger and then after that, they will immediately release in a short time.
The most dreadful punishment for him was to be ignored. The fear among those who have been awakened since childhood, makes Keenan can not be ignored by the brother, even if it is only one day.
Keenan dropped his gaze, lowered his head deeply, with a faint nod, in response.
