"*Let's go, open her mouth" Irene swung the little spoon into her baby's tiny mouth.

"It seems like our baby really likes my cooking" Irene looked at Zean with sparkling eyes watching their baby eat voraciously.

"Of course, she liked it a lot" Zean stroked the head of Irene*.

Zean blinked his eyes as sunlight entered through the gaps of the curtains. Zean opened his eyes slowly. He began to gather his consciousness, he dreamed again. In recent weeks, Zean has been dreaming about Irene and a baby girl who is their child.

Zean scrunched his neck achy, all night Zean fell asleep in a sitting position while curling his head on the edge of the bed. Zean was never tired, he never got bored during these six months of sleeping in such a position.

This is where Zean is today. Zean was still sitting, precisely here, on the side of the bed where Irene was lying limp with the infusion and ventilator that helped her to keep breathing. Yes, Irene's in a coma. After the tragic accident, Irene fell into a coma.

During these six months, Zean worked in this room. The room that witnesses the long sleep of an Irene Banner that has lasted six months. Zean was never tired, he never got tired of looking at his beautiful woman who was still sleeping quietly to this day.

"When are you gonna look at me again, Irene?" Zean smiled wryly looking at Irene's pale face.

Zean grasped Irene's hand gently, her hand was very weak and Zean kissed her while closing his eyes he prayed. Almost every day in the morning like this Zean prayed sincerely in his heart hoping Irene would wake up from her long slumber. Zean never cared about the people around him who were getting tired of waiting for Irene. For Zean, these six months were not how even ten years would Zean wait for this woman he loved so much.

"Zejen"

This kind of situation indeed almost drove him crazy, even Zean now heard Irene's voice calling out to him.

Zean still kissed Irene's hand with his eyes closed.

"Zejen"

Again, Zean heard Irene say her name. Looks like Zean's hallucinations are getting higher.

"Zejen"

This was the third time, Zean spontaneously opened his eyes. Zean's heart skipped a beat, he was stunned, silent for a moment. Zean's eyes met with Irene's eyes that she missed so much. Irene was conscious.

Zean couldn't hold back his harbour, he immediately hugged Irene. Zean really, really, really misses Irene.

"You make me breathless, Zean" protested Irene who felt uneasy at Zean who suddenly hugged her like this.

Zean took off his embrace.

Because of the look on Irene's face, it clearly shows that she is very confused.

Irene seemed to think. First, why is he in this room? Isn't it clear this is a hospital? Second, why can't he remember why he was here? Third, why did he feel his entire body go limp, even so limp? Fourth, why did Zean react like this after he woke up from his sleep?

"Why am I here?" Irene was not sure.

Zean was seen forcing a smile on his face.

"In the meantime, I better call the doctor first" Zean came out to see the doctor.

Doctor Anthonio who had been handling Irene immediately headed to Irene's room. Doctor Anthonio smiled kindly as Irene looked at him, Irene smiled stiffly at him.

Anthonio's doctor immediately checked the condition of Irene who had been in a coma for approximately six months.

"Are you starting to remember something, Ms. Banner?" ask Dr. Anthonio after checking Irene's condition.

Irene shook her head in response no.

Doctor Anthonio looked at Irene at a glance then looked at Zean then nodded as a gesture then waltzed away from the room, Zean followed Doctor Anthonio from behind.

Irene felt strange about the situation, but she chose not to care because her entire body still felt limp. Irene grabbed the remote over the nightstand and turned on the TV in the room.

"Is Irene losing her memory, doc?" Zean was worried that Irene would completely lose her memory, but she didn't seem to. Because Irene still remembered Zean, she even remembered her name was Irene Banner.

"Not completely, Mr. Lorwerth" Doctor Anthonio was busy looking at Irene's medical records.

Zean was silent, waiting for Doctor Anthonio to continue his words.

"Md. Banner has reterogate amnesia which can occur due to brain damage from a head impact at the time of the accident, or it can also be a desire to forget events that lead to traumatic experiences" explains Dr. Anthonio.

Zean breathed lethargic, at least it would be better for now if Irene could forget the tragic events of that night.

"I'm not suggesting, but I'd better tell the story because Ms. Banner would have asked why he was lying in the hospital. For now let him recover and do not try to make him think hard what else makes him remember the tragic accident, because it could affect the condition and performance of his brain" Doctor Anthonio patted Zean on the shoulder and then sauntered away.

Zean understood this must be difficult for Irene, especially there would be a lot of crying if Irene knew what Zean had experienced during these six months without her.
