Two weeks later ....

Ever since Irene woke up from her long slumber that day, everyone who turned and tired of waiting for Irene all this time finally came back to visit Irene to express her longing for the woman. But they all covered it up because Zean didn't allow everyone to react more to Irene's newly awakened coma for six months.

Zean concocted the story that Irene only stayed for three days in the hospital due to her weak body condition. Irene recalled that if she was pregnant, then this reason was the most appropriate according to Zean for now so as not to overload Irene's mind. Zean promised himself one day slowly when Irene had started to recover properly, Zean would tell her everything.

Gerald and Alice that night visiting and saying goodbye to Irene, they will settle in Paris according to their plans since the beginning of marriage. Kim and his fiancee will be getting married next month. Ainsley and Daniel were still busy playing the charade in front of Gerald and Irene, they agreed not to hurt their children anymore. Their father and mother Zean always gave their blessing and support to Zean and Irene.

As far as Zean still loves Irene, nothing has changed. Zean decided to marry her soon. Today they are busy fitting wedding clothes in one of the famous designer boutiques owned by Vera Wang.

Irene already stood gracefully before Zean wearing a milky white wedding dress with lace details as well as a decorative stalk and crystal flower that gives a touch of nature in the dress with this luxurious organza skirt.

Zean was stunned, not turning and blinking the slightest look at Irene's beauty like a goddess wrapped in the wedding dress. Zean was still silent as he looked at Irene and had not reacted to anything. To be honest no one wanted Zean to comment, the beautiful dress was perfectly attached to Irene's body, very pretty.

Irene waved in front of Zean, the woman pouted. Does Irene look weird in this dress? Why was Zean just silent and not reacting to anything?

“Does this dress not match me?” ask Irene.

Zean smiled and grabbed Irene's hands.

“I don't know why, I can't say anything. You look so beautiful, Ms. Banner” Zean kissing the back of Irene's hand.

Blushes... Irene blushed, Zean could always make her smile embarrassedly.

Irene stood like a princess in a white wedding dress that swept the floor accompanied by matching heels and a bunch of flowers she held trembled. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, so perfect with the bridal makeup polish that adds to her beauty today.

"Look at our daughter, she's so beautiful, isn't she, Daniel" Ainsley told Daniel. They stood behind Irene.

Irene smiled at the reflection of Ainsley and Daniel from the mirror.

“Irene” Zean worriedly looked at Irene who suddenly touched her head as if dizzy.

Irene regained her senses from her daydream, her head feeling very dizzy. Irene was not so sure of what she saw earlier but she was very sure it came from her memory. Was Irene ever close to getting married? Or has Irene ever been married? For some reason Irene suddenly felt alien to herself.

“Are you okay?” Zean was getting worried because Irene had not responded to anything.

Irene decays but soon Zean sustains her body. Irene felt tightness in her chest as she tried to recall what she had seen earlier in her memory.

“Zean” Irene stared at Zean expectantly. Zean looked at him in response.

“Do you believe me?” Irene asked doubtfully, Zean just nodded.

“It looks like I used a wedding dress, and on that day there was mom and daddy there” Irene seemed hesitant to say that.

Zean seemed to think, seconds later he laughed.

“Do not joke in broad daylight, Irene” Zean said.

Irene pouted, Zean who was sensitive to changes in Irene's face immediately cupped the two cheeks of the woman.

“You did use a wedding dress, Irene” Zean stroked Irene's cheeks.

“Really?” Irene wasn't so sure.

Irene snorted in annoyance. “I mean besides today, Zean. Previously, did I ever wear a wedding dress?”

Irene looked at Zean trying to find an answer from Zean's eyes, but the man avoided Irene's gaze instead.

Zean stared at the circular watch in his left hand. “I have to go, Irene. In an hour, my meeting will start”

Irene slumped spoiled in Zean's arm. It felt like they had only been together for an hour now Zean had to go back to taking care of a pile of office work. Zean had said that he would be very busy before the wedding day because he had to take care of some work so they could have free time for the honeymoon later.

“Good my super busy sweetheart” Irene slightly bowed as if to pay respects to Zean.

Zean smiled amusedly at Irene's behavior.

“But will you take the time to take me to check the contents tomorrow? Or may I call a private doctor if you don't want to drive me” Irene looked at Zean with a pleading gaze.

Zean sighed and then stroked Irene's head. “Don't go check the gynecologist yourself and don't get checked by a personal doctor without me”

Irene lowered her head, this was the umpteenth time Zean had refused. Irene did not understand that even though Zean repeatedly said the same thing, it was just a matter of work, this was because Zean was still busy. But somehow, Irene felt that something was wrong with her content.

“Irene” call Zean soft.

Irene did not respond, she still lowered her head to think about Zean who seemed more concerned with work than her.

“Please be patient and understand, dear” Zean pulled Irene's chin so that she could look at him.

Eyes were already reddened, it seemed like it was soon ready to shed its sorrow. Zean felt guilty, Zean hated when he saw Irene like this.

“I just want to know, Zean. Is this baby okay in my womb? Does this baby grow healthy in ku—”

Zean briefly kissed Irene's lips, not wanting to hear more. It was enough for Zean, he knew Irene was disappointed.

“Patience, Irene. All this for the sake of you and our children, please be patient” said Zean and hugged the woman.

Irene tried to shake off her negative thoughts. Looks like Zean was right, Irene should be more patient. Irene must not be selfish, Zean's busy in taking care of this job is for herself and her son in the future.
