Was Zean so busy with his work or was Irene no longer important to him? Irene repeatedly asked Zean to check her content but Zean refused, even Irene wanted to call a personal doctor to check it but Zean did not allow it. At the moment Zean was very busy so he could not accompany Irene or comply with her wishes. Honestly, Irene was disappointed.

"Must I go alone?" Irene stared at her reflection in the mirror, she was neat with a mocca-colored dress and black flat shoes that wrapped her white legs.

"I can't wait for Zean for too long anymore, I want to know the condition of this baby, is my baby okay? Is she always healthy in my womb?" Irene monologue.

Irene had thought about it carefully. Irene decided to go alone to check the contents. Because waiting for Zean is very painful for him. Zean doesn't seem to care, he's busy with his job, annoying.

Irene snatched her car keys and headed to a well-known hospital in the city, before Irene had made an appointment with Doctor Anna, the obstetrician who handles Irene.

"Good morning, Ms. Banner" said Anna shortly after Irene entered her room.

Irene smiled kindly at Doctor Anna then sat down face to face for counseling.

"By the morning, Doctor Anna"

Anna's doctor caught a glimpse of Irene's flat stomach then looked at Irene with a friendly smile.

"This is your first check, Ms.Banner. Any previous complaints?" ask Dr. Anna to confirm Irene's condition first.

Irene sighed slowly, she was not so sure but somehow she had a bad feeling about her content.

"Look, doc. Lately I've never been vomiting, nausea and even dizziness. I've been realizing this for the last two weeks. I feel like a healthy woman in general, isn't this weird for a pregnant woman?" Irene hesitated at his words.

Anna's doctor seemed to think, digesting Irene's complaint.

"Actually the pregnant woman is different, Mr. Banners. Depending on the baby in the womb, it may be that during these weeks you do not experience nausea and dizziness but it could be that the next week you will experience nausea and dizziness that is greater than usual" obviously Doctor Anna.

Irene seemed to nod in understanding with Doctor Anna's explanation.

"We do not know if just guessing like this, for more details let's do further examination" Dr. Anna moved to direct Irene to do further examination.

Anna's doctor performed the Ultrasound Test to monitor the health of the mother and fetus, as well as detect the presence or absence of possible complications during pregnancy.

"Md. Banner" Doctor Anna looked at Irene with a face full of doubt.

Irene looked at him in response.

"I'll do the test once again to better convince us because I found it awkward. But I beg you to remain calm, Ms. Banner" to Doctor Anna.

Irene started thinking about the worst possible things that could happen. What kind of awkwardness did Doctor Anna mean?

Anna's doctor returned to her desk staring at Irene's ultrasound. Irene sat in front of Doctor Anna in confusion because she saw the face of Doctor Anna's face that was difficult to interpret.

Seeing the look on Doctor Anna's face at the moment, it was clear that the test results must have been disappointing for Irene. Is Irene having problems?

"Is everything okay, doc?" Irene asked, she couldn't wait to hear the test results.

Doctor Anna raised her head slowly trying to stare at Irene with a forced smile, clearly there was regret in Doctor Anna's eyes.

Doctor Anna shook her head, still thinking of words to explain the results of this test.

"Doctor Anna" called Irene, her heart rate getting worse waiting for Doctor Anna to show the test results.

Doctor Anna sighed slowly, heavily for her as a doctor to explain this.

Irene was still quietly waiting for Doctor Anna to continue her words.

"Your test results show that there's no baby in your womb, not even..." Doctor Anna hung up her words, she could not continue.

The deg! Irene choked, she felt thousands of needles piercing her heart simultaneously.

"Even what, doc? Say it!" Irene began to panic, her heart pounding very quickly. Is Irene's concern right, if there's something wrong with her?

"There's not even a uterus in your stomach, Ms. Banner" continued Dr Anna.

Irene decays, her whole body feels weak. Her eyes started to heat up, was this the reason Zean always refused her when Irene asked to check her card? Zean purposely covered this up from her?

"You must be wrong, Doctor Anna" Irene said, tears began to pour down her pretty face.

Anna's doctor grabs Irene's hand, trying to strengthen the woman.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Banner" said Dr. Anna again.

Irene closed her mouth tightly, at this moment she wanted to shout hysterically on the sidelines of this cry.

"There are important things you need to know, forgive me for having to say this as a doctor" Dr Anna tried to explain further the results of this test.

Irene was still crying with chaotic thoughts and pain in her heart, she tried to stay strong hearing Doctor Anna's explanation.

"Ms.Banner, you've had hysterectomy surgery. Hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus" Anna explained, with regret, she felt sad and disappointed as a woman.

Irene was getting tight, she had trouble breathing. The results of this test managed to break Irene's heart. Irene was really limp, it felt like she could not stand up at this moment. Irene was still sitting crying in front of Doctor Anna.

"It must be hard for you, Ms. Banner" Dr. Anna couldn't imagine how devastated Irene's heart was because the woman herself didn't know she had had a hysterectomy.

"Does this mean I'll never be able to have children? I'll never get pregnant again?" Irene tried to convince the test results.

Doctor Anna was unable to justify all that, she felt sad and disappointed as well as a fellow woman.

"Take care of me, doc!" Irene clenched trembling.

Doctor Anna nodded slowly in response to "yes"

Irene clenched her hands and then lashed her chest which felt increasingly tight. Tears continued to flow nonstop, all this time she had lost her baby but she did not know even she had no uterus.

What the hell is going on? Why would Zean hide this from her?

Irene was silent, sitting while staring at the window of the twenty-seventh floor apartment that displayed a beautiful sparkling night decorated with lights below. Irene touched her flat stomach and rubbed it gently.

"Are we gonna be okay?" he said he was desperate to talk to the baby in his womb.

A flash of memory turned back around, Irene felt a pain in her head.

"Aw" Irene screeched to touch her suddenly aching head.

"Are you okay, Ms. Banner?" Doctor Anna was worried, she was supporting Irene's body.

Irene did not respond, she still touched her aching head. Irene began to remember the times she was pregnant first. Irene was more and more convinced, something had happened to her. I don't know what happened, Irene doesn't know for sure. Right now, that Irene felt like she was reborn but with some of her memories.
