Stranger's In Love

Stranger's In Love
82| THE PENTHOUSE

One year ago there was a business meeting at the Lee Da Museum involving an Arab client. At that time Cassandra needed an Arabic translator. He asked his assistant - Ryan Masley - to find a proficient Arabic translator so as not to disappoint his client later. And as a result Mr. Ryan found Akhifa Naila Sabha who turned out to be Allan's fiancee.

Cassandra did not attend the meeting that day because Cassandra had never interfered in her business affairs before. Cassandra entrusted everything to Ryan and Gerald, so far Cassandra only received written reports and reports directly from Ryan related to the business she runs. Lee Da Museum went well so far there have never been any complaints or problems that arise this makes Cassandra not at all suspicious. However, Allan's words yesterday successfully made him anxious.

“I was annoyed by Allan's remark and decided to find out the truth. I immediately contacted Ryan to ask for a list of biodata translators who had worked with Lee Da Museum, but Ryan didn't give it away on the grounds that his computer was hit by a virus and he lost a lot of data including translator data. Isn't it strange if a problem of this size he considers trivial as if it doesn't matter if the other data is lost?” cassandra asked Irene who was still digesting the woman's story.

“Supposed Ryan panicked and immediately reported it to me, but so far Ryan hasn't reported it to me even he just said it when I asked for the translator's biodata. I feel there's an oddity here,” continued Cassandra.

“I was more and more disturbed by this, that night I went to the Museum. I rummaged through the storage files and checked all the computers, but the result was nothing I found. In fact I find it even more strange because there is no important data in the storage archives and computers. Lee Da Museum is not a small business, there should be a lot of archives and client data but I did not find anything,” Cassandra breathed a rough breath, it looks like she started to get emotional.

“But I didn't expect that Ryan Masley would be that reckless, I found a loose disc in his desk drawer like he forgot something as important as that. I checked the contents of the disc, I. i. hiks.” Cassandra suddenly cried and immediately hugged Irene.

“Please yourself, Cassandra,” said Irene trying to calm down.

“I... hiks... I found the biodata of the translators,” Cassandra sobbed, it was very difficult for her to continue her speech.

Irene stroking the woman's back, “Relax, Cassandra. Quiet.”

Cassandra broke out her embrace and then wiped off the trace of water on her cheek, she looked at Irene trembling. From the look of his eyes there is clearly a fear of Cassandra.

“I found out everyone on that list, but.. hiks...” Cassandra came back crying.

Seeing Cassandra's reaction, Irene believes something bad might happen and right all this time Cassandra does not know anything about the business she runs behind Lee Da Museum.

“They're all dead, Irene. The time of his death was on the day they attended an invitation to a meeting with a foreign client at the Lee Da Museum. On February 20, 2020, at 10:00 a.m at the Lee Da Museum Building, meeting with Arab clients, a, translator Akhifa Naila Sabha and the time of death on the same day at 09.00 p.m due to poisoning at her engagement party. On May 15, 2020, at 11:00 a.m at the Lee Da Museum Building, a meeting with an Icelandic client, translator Jordan Guy and the time of death on the same day at 07.30 p.m due to a single accident caused by brake blong. On January 30, 2019, at 09.30 a.m at the Lee Da Museum Building, a meeting with a Spanish client, translator Annastasya Siregar and the time of death on the same day at 10.00 p.m due to a fire caused by a gas leak in his home, on.. hiks...hiks.” Cassandra couldn't tell him anymore.

Irene hugged Cassandra, it was inconceivable how fragile Cassandra was right now. During this time Cassandra really did not know what business she was running.

“Their deaths must all have been planned, Irene. I'm sure they must have translated a business secret that I didn't know myself,” Cassandra said.

“I... hiks.. I feel bad, I am a bad woman, I.. hiks...” Cassandra's crying becomes more and more.

Irene got up from her seat, but it made Cassandra immediately pull Irene. Cassandra was afraid that Irene would leave her.

“Please, after what you heard don't leave me, Irene,” Cassandra's love.

Irene stared at Cassandra for a moment and then pulled her to stand together. “Come! Prepare yourself, we'll find plenty of evidence in your museum.”

“But, how? Not important archives and the computer also seems to have been reset,” said Cassandra sounded desperate.

Irene shakes. “I have someone who is an expert in this field, don't worry,” said Irene.

“Can we trust that person? How if-”

“Relax, Cassandra. For now prepare yourself, I will wait in the car,” Irene said cutting off Cassandra's conversation.

Cassandra nodded stiffly and began to prepare herself, she looked extremely chaotic. Irene was waiting in the car.

                                                                                              ***

“Irene,” Cassandra stopped Irene as she was about to enter the passcode for the apartment room door. They're at Tae-O's apartment right now.

Irene looked at Cassandra with a confident smile. “Do not worry, Cassandra.”

Irene refocused on entering the passcode and seconds later the door opened.

“Oh, Noona!” greet Tae-O when Irene comes in. However, Tae-O turns to look at the woman next to Irene.

“Who is he, Noona?” ask Tae-O.

Irene turned to look at Cassandra and coded the woman to introduce herself.

“I'm Cassandra Lee Damora,” said Cassandra introduced herself.

Tae-O rounds his eyes full and pulls Irene towards the balcony, leaving Cassandra standing in her place.

“Noona, are you sure you brought him here?” tae-o asks in a panic.

“We have to help her, Tae-O. It turns out that Cassandra had been right not to know what business she was actually running in Lee Da Museum,” Irene replied.

“But, Noona.” whine Tae-O. However, Irene has returned to Cassandra and Tae-O is forced to follow behind her.

Irene, Cassandra and Tae-O are now sitting together in the living room, they are about to discuss something.

“Cassandra, you can tell the details again now let alone give a little information about Lee Da Museum,” said Irene opened the topic of conversation.

Cassandra recounts what she told Irene to make Tae-O understand what happened.

“Ghost! That’s so crazy!” umpat Tae-O is upset after hearing all the stories of Cassandra.

“How can a human being do that,” annoyed Tae-O.

“I really did not expect behind my business there was such a terrible thing,” said Cassandra.

“Quiet, Cassandra. With the help of Tae-O we can hack the hidden data from Lee Da Museum even we can also recover the files that have been lost,” said Irene trying to calm Cassandra who seemed to want to cry again.

“We have to go to Lee Da Museum. I need to connect with his computer to be able to hack all his data,” Tae-O said.

Cassandra shook her head, then looked at Irene and Tae-O alternately.

“Lee Da Museum is not a real museum. Lee Da Museum is a virtual museum that can be anywhere. We just need a screen and a projector with secret access then we can go to the Lee Da Museum. The products displayed are only virtual forms of paintings by famous artists, if the client is interested and agrees to make a transaction then the painting will be sent to the client's address. So far that's all I know, the rest I don't know if they actually sold the paintings I collected from famous artists by dividing thirty-five percent of the profits or if there's anything else they're selling behind the painting,” says Cassandra.

Irene frowned confusedly, she remembered Cassandra's story earlier.

“Then what about the last dicksa you found in Ryan Masley's desk drawer? And what about the archive you're looking for and the computer that got the virus?” Irene was confused.

“Penthouse, Ryan Masley. The reason I come to Prague so often is Ryan Masley, my assistant. All Lee Da Museum data and archives are maintained at Ryan's Penthouse in Wenceslaus. I routinely visit him every three months to just check quarterly finances. So far I have never suspected because my business is classified as very smooth and finances are quite clean,” said Cassandra.

Irene and Tae-O just nodded obediently hearing all the explanations from Cassandra. The Lee Da Museum is no ordinary business.

"Anyway we should be able to hack Ryan Masley's computer!" tae-o exclaims who is now very antusia.
