“Kak Clara?”

Clara was stunned from her daydream, she looked up to find Monica standing in front of her while carrying some plastic grocery bags.

“What is your sister doing alone here?”

Clara wavers, she cannot tell Monica that she is contemplating her bad luck in this lonely park alone.

“Ah, I just accidentally saw this park. Because I'm tired of walking from the stop so I think there's no harm in resting here for a while even though my hostel is close but there's no harm right?”

Diana squeezed the end of the dress she was wearing, not because Diana was afraid that after the divorce Damian would not keep the promise to give her money. It's just that Diana thought if she divorced Damian and the money Damian gave her had run out how Diana's life would be? Diana is no longer like she used to be, she no longer has a job to support her life so if Diana parted ways with Damian then Diana would have no more monthly money, she will not be able to live a luxurious life anymore, Diana does not want to return to her long tormented life because she does not have money.

Diana inwardly cursed herself who could be caught by Damian and also cursed her negligent self many times working as a doctor until dishonorably fired by the hospital. It's all because of Thomas, because Diana loved that damn guy too much.

Diana loves Thomas so much that Diana cannot forget Thomas even though he is married to Damian, Diana also loved Thomas so much that she always obeyed him whenever Thomas asked him to come even when Diana was supposed to be a doctor and scheduled for surgery, because Thomas Diana almost killed a patient and as punishment Diana was fired from her job.

And now Diana's getting divorced from Damian because of Thomas.

“Damian, please don't divorce me. I'd do anything if you didn't divorce me.” Diana began to shed her tears, hoping Damian would melt but the man threw a pen at her.

“Sign the divorce papers right now, you'd rather we divorce well either and you get the money or I divorce you in a bad way and not get a penny, which one do you choose?” Damian got up from his seat, he stepped closer to Diana and grabbed her chin.

“You said you were willing to do anything? What the hell can you do? You are useless Diana, you are nothing to me so quickly sign the file before I get angry and hurt you.”

Diana was trembling, she was afraid of Damian. Damian is not a typical man who plays with his words, if Damian has said something then he will really do it without hesitation.

“Ji-if we get divorced then why yesterday you want me to bring Clara back home, it's not that if we get divorced we won't be living together anymore and there's no reason for Clara to stay at your house because you're not her sister-in-law anymore. I thought you asked me to bring Clara back so the three of us could stay together again as a family.”
