Sweetest Scandal
Lost Just So

Randu no longer came, he reneged on his promise that night. The days of the pregnant woman feel empty, even though she has had her own busy life. However, the absence of the man made him uninspired.

Almost a week without word from the man, Aileen did not dare to visit their home or workplace. He was afraid that if only his arrival aroused suspicion, though it should not be.

Aileen was self-conscious, that night Randu was different. Randu finds out that Amee is lying, and so is she even though the man does not know.

"Why am I so keen to hug Kak Randu's body?" Aileen was frustrated. His work is not right, his mind is always on one object. He closed his laptop.

Unable to continue waiting for uncertainty, he decided to go see the man. "He must keep his promise!" Armed with diligence, he ignored the call of the aunt who asked him for lunch.

"Sounds you miss him too." Aileen rubbed her stomach while exiting the apartment lobby and entering a taxi that had just dropped off her passengers.

Aileen asks to be escorted to Randu's workplace, she believes the man is there. Not caring about his appearance was only wearing over-sized house clothes and knit cardigans to protect his body from the cold.

His call was still ignored, even the messages he gave still did not get a reply or blue tick.

"Sir, we stop at the front bakery first, yes!" pinta Aileen's. He wanted to go to Randu with a reason that made everyone not wonder, even so his mind was completely muddled. He stared at the still wet streets after the rain while biting his finger to ease the anxiety.

"It's over, Miss!" Aileen looked to her left side. The taxi stopped at the shop he asked for.

Aileen nodded. "Wait a minute, sir!" He quickly got out of the taxi and entered the store which was immediately greeted with the fragrant aroma of his cookies.

"Welcome, what cake would you like?" A young woman dressed in uniform approached them.

Aileen was confused, she did not know what to buy. He does not know what cake Randu likes, all this time he only knows about Randu who knows a lot about him and he only a small part of it knows about Randu.

Aileen watched the rainbow cake in front of her doubtfully and pointed at her, the young lady was about to take it. "Ah, no. My husband doesn't like it too sweet!" The woman understood and just nodded.

"Can the packaging for the various traditional cakes that are here? Husband likes it!" Aileen solidified the choice, twice she saw Amee buying traditional cakes and she believed they were foods that Randu preferred.

The young woman was swiftly doing her job. Last night waiting, Aileen again tried to contact Randu, at least when he came later the man was not surprised.

After making payment Aileen Gegas back to the taxi. He occasionally glanced at the plastic containing two boxes of cake with a gamang.

It only takes no more than twenty minutes, the taxi has arrived in front of Randu's showroom. He immediately paid for the taxi and did not forget to give a box of cookies he bought to the taxi driver as a thank you.

To cover up the uneasiness, he sighed repeatedly. Aileen watched the large building intently. Some people in neat clothes and then tares, whether it's employees or people who come to make purchases.

"Excuse me, can anyone help?" A man dressed as a security guard approached him. From his gaze, Aileen knew the man was staring in wonder at her who had not moved in.

"Miss, please come in!"

"Pak Randu is there?"

The man before him frowned and shook his head. "He didn't come today."

"Oh. Thank you!"

Aileen just chose to leave. He grumbled in annoyance, his departure being a waste. However, for the sake of his desire to meet and be able to let go Aileen misses choosing to go to the house that once housed him.

Aileen's great hope of being able to meet the man, even though she realized the possibility of her desire to embrace Randu was achieved would be very impossible.

***

Aileen did not expect at all, the woman she loved so much was lying limp in the hospital bed. Her left wrist was bandaged, her face was bruised, and she saw Amee's left eye turn blue, though it had faded slightly.

Aileen was powerless to hold back her cries, she squatted around hugging the frail body of Amee, unconcerned by Sika's prohibition on her meeting Amee.

"What's going on, Ma'am? Why did it get this way?" Aileen wiped her own tears. He stared at the injured body of Amee. The woman, who was five years older than him, only smiled while enduring the pain from the corner of her injured lip.

"I feel bad as a sister. Ma'am Amee is injured and I don't know anything." Aileen clasped Amee's cold right hand.

"Don't blame yourself. Ma'am asked Mas Randu not to tell you. You can't have much of a thought."

Aileen hugged Amee's body carefully and cried. He regretted having suspected Randu of forgetting about it, apparently the man was busy taking care of Amee who was being treated. He should have known himself.

"Go away, don't see my daughter's body getting hurt!" Sika comes and pulls Aileen's hand without caring if Aileen will fall.

"Mama!"

"Don't be angry with Mama. All this time Mama has been patient with your attitude that always defends children do not know themselves. Now look, because of him you guys fought until you got hurt like this!"

Aileen closed her mouth, she did not understand the intention of her mother saying that. He let someone take his body out of the room.

"Why did you come here?" Aileen was crying again. He was in the hospital garden. Sika's words kept spinning repeatedly in her mind.

"What's going on?" asked Aileen between her tears.

He turned his head to the left, Randu was sitting there with a straight forward look. His face was clearly exhausted.

Aileen wiped her tears. He then gave a packet of tissue to Randu. The man took it without saying anything more.

"I'm done crying, now it's Brother's turn to cry. That wipes could wipe away Big Brother's tears."

Randu looked at Aileen whose eyes had been blemished from crying. He sighed softly and said, "I'm sorry. You must be confused as to why I didn't come these few days!"

Aileen nodded confirming her husband's words. "What's going on? Are you really fighting because of me?"

Randu shook his head, he looked straight ahead again. "Sister!" Aileen touched Randu's arm.

"We fought but not because of anyone."

"Then? Why did Mama say I was the cause?"

"Don't believe!" argue Randu. "Mama just thought it was because you that we got into a fight and made Amee crash."

"I know you'll always blame me for what happened to Amee!" Randu looked back at Aileen and hugged her. Even without asking for it, Aileen was finally able to feel her desire just now.

The woman did not want to lose her chance, she returned Randu's embrace while deeply inhaling the scent of Randu's body. However, she immediately pushed her husband's body until the man let go of his embrace.

"What's wrong?" randu asked in surprise when he saw Aileen covering her nose. He then sniffed the scent of his own body and chuckled. "Sorry, I haven't had a shower yet!"

"No, I still like it! Brother remains cool and handsome even though he hasn't taken a shower." Aileen no longer paid attention to the smell of Randu's body that disturbed her kiss by re-hugging the man. She looked up to see her husband's tired face.

"Have I heard the reason why Ms Amee got into an accident?"

Randu. He turned his gaze to the side next to her, avoiding Aileen's gaze at him.

"Sister!" Aileen cupped Randu's face to look back at him.

"I am the one who made Amee angry, she did not accept when I wanted a child from her at this time. He thinks the child from your womb is enough for our family."

Aileen swallowed her rough saliva. "Did Brother change his mind? Did you actually reject this child?"

"It's not so!" Aileen nodded, even though she felt very hurt. His heart was too sensitive to hear the words of Randu.

"I know!"
