Are You Ready?

Aileen returned to the apartment feeling confused after her conversation with Seto earlier. The man's gaze was very difficult for him to understand, even about his diversity to Seto.

"Bi, did Kak Randu come here earlier?" Aileen approached Bi Siti who was in the kitchen making a sponge according to her promise to Randu last night.

"Mas Randu is not going to the office. This morning Mas Randu did not come here!" Aileen nodded.

"Yes, I went to my room. Was Sapphira crying?" Bi Siti just shook her head. Aileen chose to go to the room to see her daughter who was a few hours away and only accompanied by Bi Siti.

Aileen looked at Safira who was babbling by herself. She smiled happily and approached her daughter. "Mama thought you were sleeping! Sorry Mama stayed!" He kissed Sapphira's temple and went to the bathroom to clean himself.

Aileen rushed out when she heard the sound of her phone ringing loudly. He forgot to set his ringtone to silent mode. Luckily, the sound of his phone did not bother Safira at all.

"Sister Randu?" He received a video call from the man who had been showing his feelings for several months, even the man relented by living in his apartment on different floors so that Aileen could comfortably live in the apartment with Safira.

"Hi, Brother. I just got home!" shoot Aileen without waiting for Randu's question first!"

"Where is Safira? Can I see it?" Aileen nodded and she directly pointed her camera at Sapphira who was playing her own finger by putting it in her mouth.

Some time Randu invites their daughter to talk and only responded to laughter by Safira. Seeing the interaction made Aileen's heart warm. Doubts that he had felt for several months over the proposal of Randu seemed to disappear just like that after his conversation with Seto and saw for himself the state of Amee.

"What happens when you see Amee handing over the house papers?"

At this time Aileen's face was stared at by Randu after the man was satisfied to invite Safira to talk.

"What else, of course he's angry. He even asked me not to see him again!" Aileen sighed softly and tried to smile at Randu even though it felt difficult to do.

Aileen raised next to her eyebrows, she stared at the dislike of Randu who looked so guilty. "So why is that. After all I'm the one who forced it, right, make deliver the letters even though the real lawyer Sister can do? Yeah, just think of this as a rebuke to me because for some time I didn't dare meet him!"

"alright. We don't talk about him anymore. Later that night you promised to have dinner together outside. Wear the clothes I have chosen."

"How safira? He's coming too, right?" aileen asked while watching her daughter.

"Can you ask Adis to take care of her?"

Aileen glared at Randu's words. He was annoyed at the man who currently looked to be seriously looking at him. "Wouldn't. Ask Adis for help, anyway? Let me just take Safira. I can't afford to live with him anymore either!"

At night Aileen was ready with a simple black dress bought by Randu. To perfect his appearance he simply wore earrings and let his hair be unraveled, not forgetting he wore heels in matching colors.

Aileen noticed her appearance back before leaving with Randu. He stared at Bi Siti's mirror that entered his room. He turned around and approached the old woman.

"Auntie just take a break, let me bring Sapphira along!"

"But ...."

"Here, Brother Randu said later we will have dinner in the room as well. So it's okay to bring Safira. It's a pity that I'm staying again!"

Bi Siti wanted to argue, but seeing Aileen's earnestness she finally complied. "Let Auntie put on a Safira jacket first, the night air is not good for the baby!"

Aileen nodded. He would not forbid the old woman to do so. He picked up the prepared bag and came out when he heard the bell ring.

"Dis? Why come here?" ask Aileen in wonder. Whereas Randu said he did not ask Adis to come and take care of Safira, but now his best friend has stood before him.

"I'd like to see Safira. Why again!" Adis just walked in regardless of Aileen's confusion.

Little snorting sister, she looked at Aileen annoyed. "It's really good to take a baby that hasn't been out for a year. You should enjoy dinner with Kak Randu without Safira. Take it easy, I'll take care of him!"

Aileen sighed softly. He approached his daughter and kissed her forehead for a long time. "I didn't bring Sapphira. But, once an hour you have to pick up my phone!"

"Bi, please take care of Safira, yes!"

"Yes I've left first, Brother Randu has been waiting for me outside!" aileen said after reading a message from Randu

Aileen did not expect that the restaurant they went to had been reserved by Randu, so there were no more visitors besides the two of them.

"Where, like?" Aileen nodded happily. "I purposely did it so we could eat and talk quietly."

"But Brother doesn't have to do this. We can do it in the apartment! Wasting money!"

Randu chuckled softly at Aileen's words just now. He cleared his throat then grabbed Aileen's hand and grasped it tightly. That delicate hand felt so cold. "Your hands are cold!"

"I'm nervous!" aileen answered honestly. "That's it, but I think tonight's why you're taking me to dinner together isn't just eating and talking, is it?"

"So right?" ask Aileen to make sure. He looked at the clingy nodding Randu. "So don't want to propose to me, do you?"

Randu was unable to hold back his laughter because Aileen's question was completely unexpected. Instead of not asking her directly, Aileen instead chose to ask without feeling awkward at all.

Seeing the confused Aileen, Randu cleared his throat to stop his laughter. He looked back at Aileen. "Because you already know what I want to do, so I'll get to the point. Are you ready?"

"What?"

"You want to accept my proposal?"

"Gosh, so you're serious?" Randu nodded without hesitation. "I was just guessing!"

Randu sighed softly. He tried to be patient against Aileen who seemed to be pulling out his time, testing his patience. "Aren't you sure? Brother isn't afraid that Aunt Mira and my mama are also banning our relationship? I don't want to make things difficult, brother! I'm ...."

Aileen fell silent without continuing her speech as Randu stopped her by putting her index finger right in front of her lips. "You don't have to think about them right now. All I want is for you to accept me and we'll go through it all together!" randu said very seriously.

Aileen held onto Randu's index finger and moved away from her lips. "Yes, I want to!"

Randu was so happy to hear the answer he had been waiting for so long. He kissed the back of Aileen's hand repeatedly to express his feelings. However, moments later Randu managed to make Aileen confused by his attitude.

"What's wrong?"

"No. I became curious, what about your ex who said to invite back. You didn't make him wait, did you?"

Aileen laughed a little. She shook her head. "I'm sorry I just lied. Actually, I never met him again, I lasain it because previously felt doubtful about the feelings of Brother. I know you love her very much, Sister Amee! I thought the first brother's invitation was just a transition."

"Adis, Brother!" Randu let go of Aileen's hand to make it free. He silently listened to Aileen and her best friend's conversation which was so serious, visible from the change in Aileen's facial expression.

"What's wrong?" randu asked in surprise when Aileen suddenly stood up and took him home.

"Sister, mama's in the apartment and I'm going to bring Safira!"
