I'm Not In Loss

"What is Aunt doing here? Don't make me look bad at guests, dong!"

Adis approached Sika who was in the kitchen. He snatched the knife from Sika's hand. "Tante is a guest here, so there is no need to bother to cook," said Adis while putting a knife on the table and taking Sika away from the room.

"Tante just wants to make your breakfast. Who's gonna say you're bad anyway?"

Adis looked at Sika annoyed. He folded his hands over his stomach and said, "To avoid such talk. I ordered food for us anyway! Uhuh!" Adis pointed to two packs of rice sitting on the dining table. He returned to the kitchen to pick up a spoon and drink.

"After this I'll take Aunt to Amee's house. I can't stay here for long, Auntie, wherever Auntie has to live with Auntie's son!"

"Can Aunty stay a few days here? Auntie kids no one wants to accept Auntie! Moreover, Aileen who could have kicked Aunt after the marriage with Randu!" Adis looked at Sika who said with a sad face.

"Aileen kicked Auntie out?"

"Yes. Turns out he's not a good kid and respectful to parents. Auntie hope you're not the same as your parents!"" Sika bribed the rice with emotion.

Hearing Sika's disfiguring speech Aileen made Adis put down the spoon violently. "Gosh, what's wrong with you?" ask Sika wonder. Adis brushed off the hand of Sika who was about to touch her.

"Aunty doesn't realize the same thing Aunt said just now?"

"Which one?"

"Does Auntie have to say that? Always vilifying Aileen, Aunt never cared about how she felt. I swear, if I were Aileen, I wouldn't care about Auntie anymore." Sika showed Aileen's message to Sika. "Look, he's worried about this same auntie, you know!"

"Don't you say Auntie's here?"

"Well? I don't want Aileen to know that Auntie's here. He'll pick up Aunt again! Continue to be severe until begging," replied Adis so tightly. She ignored Aileen's last message asking her to let her know if she met her sika—ma.

"He's just pretending. If he's worried, he shouldn't have kicked Auntie out! She and her husband are the same!" Sika was really stubborn and also hard-hearted.

"I was talking to Auntie. How come it is, yeah, Auntie's old man! Tuh Aunty should be grateful to have a child like Aileen. Although Aunt is often evil with him. He never talks bad about Auntie!"

Adis is no longer appetizing to eat his breakfast. He chose to leave Sika who was pensive because of his words.

Just because it could change the second point of the marriage agreement that El made, Adis was forced to accept the man's request to accept Sika stay at his house. Now he's really sorry.

Never had she met an old man whose attitude was like Sika's. Very childish beyond the attitude of children.

[Tante Sika is in my house! Pick up]

Not long after Sika entered Adis's room that was not closed just like that. He chose to sit on the edge of the bed, watching Adis who was sitting in front of a mirror. "Tante knows you're mad because Aunt is vilifying your best friend, but Auntie has a reason!"

Adis who just wanted to ignore the presence of Sika again became furious. He put his phone on the table and turned to look at Sika. "He was a good, obedient boy, and never once denied it in everyone's eyes and Auntie admitted it. But, every look on his face reminded Aunt of the woman's actions. He's the one who destroyed Auntie's family. Can't you understand Auntie's feelings too?"

Adis became confused himself, now Sika was selling her sad story. Seeking a defense of the events he has experienced. "But, Aileen wasn't her mother. He's different and I'm sure Auntie knows that."

"They're alike. If only she had not become pregnant with Randu's child and married the man, Aunt would have brought him peace. But, seeing that Amee was hurt, which mother could be nice to a woman who snatched people's husbands?"

"I get it, Tan, and I'm sorry I was rude earlier. But, from me who was also a child, Aunt shouldn't be bad constantly with Aileen. Sometimes I see the good he does. It's not just Aunt and Aunt Amee who are injured. Aileen too and for Aunt's last words about Aileen, I feel exaggerated. He never took Kak Randu. But, it was already their destiny to unite!"

"Here you go, Auntie doesn't care anymore and just wants to say that. You finish your breakfast, Auntie will pack up and leave!"

Adis approached Sika who came out of her room and asked her not to leave. "I'll let Auntie stay here in a few days!"

"Are you serious?" sika asked so pleased.

"Yes. Auntie, forget about our conversation. I'll finish my breakfast!"

"Aileen, why did you come here?" Adis was shocked to see Aileen coming to his house. He thought that Amee had come because she was sending a message to the woman.

"Mr Amee told me Mama was here. Mama's still here, right?"

Adis nodded. "Come in! I'll get Aunt Sika!"

"Adis, no!" Aileen restrains Adis who will tell her arrival to Sika. "I'm actually here just to know about Mom. I'm worried, but not to pick up mama."

Adis snorted softly and then told Aileen to sit down. "Sister Randu banned?"

"It's not my husband, but I'm the one who's forbidden your mother to live with me!"

"Huh, are you serious? Pantesan Aunt Sika doesn't like it when I talk about you!"

Aileen smiled wryly. "I want to live quietly, Dis. It may sound selfish, but I'm tired for a long time too. Mama never saw me, whatever it was always my fault."

"I know. I know it!"

"So, my mama's fine, right?" Adis nodded. "But why is Mama here? Mama wouldn't think of you!"

Adis snorted annoyed. She then told him the reason Sika could stay at her house. "All because of Bang El. He suddenly came and forced me to settle for Aunt Sika. But, luckily I was clever, so I made a deal with him!"

Aileen frowned. "Jeez, Dis!"

"I don't want to lose. But, actually I'm glad that Aunt Sika is here. I've got a chat buddy!"

"Thank God. I hope Ms. Amee will not be gone long so I can quickly pick up mama." Aileen sighed softly after reading the message on her phone. "I have to go now. Don't tell mom I'm here, yeah!" Aileen gave Adis some money in a chocolate envelope. "Please love your mom!"

"But what do I have to say about this money?"

"As far as you are, just don't tell me. Say from Bang El, good too!" Aileen chuckled softly after saying so and left.
