Farewell Cry

The baby girl was so calm on her mother's arms. Ah, naw. It is more accurate to say that the baby girl was so calm in the arms of the woman who first fell in love with her.

The woman who will only give her warmth a first touch and then leave. After that, the baby changed hands to a man who also fell in love for the first time in his voice, plump eyelashes, sharp nose, and thin lips.

The man shed happy tears, he did not expect that the taste would be so overwhelming. He handed the baby over to the woman who would be called 'Mama' in the end, even though the baby was not born of him.

The man who had cried was moved to the woman who had sacrificed her life and would return to sacrifice in reality.

"Thank you" she whispered, briefly hugging the woman who looked so beautiful after successfully struggling to give birth to her beautiful baby.

There was no answer, just a thin line of smiles from women who still looked tired after waking up from their sleep, not even realizing how the pain when giving birth was.

"Mas, she's really pretty, right? Since yesterday I can't be satisfied looking at him."

The man approached his wife. Fighting once again her own baby. "Yes. It's pretty!"

"Regardless of course, his eyebrows are just like yours!"

"And your lips!"

The woman who had just given birth just smiled. However, he was unable to do anything. There is no right for her to the baby. At all.

"Would you like to eat something?"

"I'm not hungry!"

"We gave him a name. A pretty, fitting name for the baby." The man was so happy when he said it.

The woman stared at the man beside her. Looks more handsome after officially bearing the status of a father. "Who?" asked the woman so curious.

"Safira!"

The woman smiled thinly. "What a good name. When can I go home? Tomorrow?"

"You rest until you fully recover! Moreover, you were unconscious from falling."

The woman who was leaning on the hospital bed shook her head. "I have to go, right, brother? I don't want to stay here long. Around the three of you!"

The grip on his hand slipped. The man by her side looked sad. "Now you can look at me!"

There's no answer whatsoever. "Why?"

"Wait until you fully recover!"

The woman shook her head. "Sister, Brother. That's too long. Even tomorrow is so long!"

"Aileen, at least until you've fully recovered don't go over the issue. Aren't you willing to breastfeed your own baby for a while?"

They looked at each other, with no one to talk to anymore. The woman—Aileen—lalu shook her head. He lied to himself and to the man beside him.

"Make what? Even though I'm doing well, I won't love that baby, sister!" aileen said and made the man who was still her husband speechless with a wounded look.

"Didn't you ever intend to be selfish? Have our baby even me?" ask Randu expectantly.

Aileen shakes. "Now not anymore, brother. Don't make me feel like a bad girl, brother. From the beginning of the agreement we were not so. Don't look at me like that, Brother's gaze scares me!"

Aileen forced Randu to smile by pulling both corners of the man's lips.

"It's night, you better go to sleep. Oh, yes, tomorrow Safira can be brought home. Amee and Mama Sika have prepared all their needs at home. You don't worry and just have to think about your recovery!"

Aileen nodded. He let Randu give a kiss to his forehead and lips. As a memory before the separation and to end the scandal between them.

Aileen just nodded. Randu actually left, after saying so.

After being completely alone in the room. Aileen was silent for a while, she noticed the entire room she was in and ended up with a long sigh.

Aileen rubbed her stomach, two days ago her stomach was still big, she carried Sapphira wherever she went. However, yesterday he fell unconscious and then today when he first came to his senses, everything changed.

Amee and Randu said they had given birth. Even the baby touched her skin directly. Aileen cried remembering all the events that had happened.

About all the things. About her who all refused and then became in love with her own baby. Trying to be selfish and ending up giving up.

Aileen was actually crying, even anyone who accidentally heard her would feel that cry so bitterly.

Aileen was truly sad to celebrate their farewell.

"I'm sorry I just came. I was going home yesterday, but it turns out my job can't be left at all."

Aileen just nodded weakly. He looks so agitated. "Why?"

Aileen looked at Adis who was watching herself in surprise. "Safira will be home today. But, I don't know when," Aileen replied sadly.

"Didn't that doctor or anybody tell you when Sapphira came home?"

Aileen shakes. "Sovernight Brother Randu just said that today Safira can go home. But, until the afternoon I did not see Kak Randu or Mbak Amee here. The doctor still hasn't given me permission to get out of bed."

Aileen looked so desperate. He looked at Adis Lamat. "Can I ask for help?" Adis nodded immediately. "Please see in the child's room whether Sapphira is there. I want to know!"

Adis sighed softly then hugged Aileen who started crying. "You calm down first, I'll be there to see Safira!"

Aileen nodded. "Thank you very much!"

Adis left Aileen to see her best friend's baby. Honey, when he asked the nurse who was on guard it turned out that the baby had been brought home without any notice to Aileen.

Adis gushed towards Aileen who waited expectantly. "Where?" Adis shakes.

"I'm sorry, but your baby has been brought home!"

Aileen's smile disappeared. He just nodded lethargicly and said nothing more. "Aileen, talk dong. Don't just shut up!"

Adis was really scared when Aileen chose silence. "Adis, Brother Randu must be angry with me so he did not tell me about Safira's return!" said Aileen with trembling lips.

Feeling sorry for what his best friend experienced, Adis hugged him tightly. He just let Aileen who started crying. "I'm sorry. I should not refuse to give my ass to Sapphira. Now Brother Randu is angry."

"You must not think far ahead. Who knows if they forgot!"

Aileen shakes. "Sir, Dis. Brother Randu give this punishment to me!" Aileen then unraveled her embrace and looked at Adis with a slightly blurry look due to her crying. "I have to go home. Help me, yeah!"

Aileen clasped Adis' hand so tightly. The woman finally nodded. "You calm down, yeah. I'll tell the doctor that you can come home tomorrow!"

"Today only!"

"But you're still weak, the events of that time for your body are still unstable."

Aileen refused. "I don't care. I'm going home today!" Aileen continued to insist on her decision.

"alright. Now you calm yourself down."

"I can't relax, Dis. I only met Safira for a few minutes, our skin touched each other and now Safira is away from me!"
