Aileen's courage

"Better tell Amee to pick up her mama! I don't want anything to happen to you!"

"Sister, mama's here because of Miss Amee who was kicked out. Mom doesn't have a place to live anymore!" Aileen herself was confused, she could not just throw Sika out of their home, but Randu had the right not to accept Sika to stay.

"Amee, whose real son just drove away, why are we the ones who bother?" Randu looks so upset.

"Wherever she is my mother, sister, regardless of how badly she treats me!" Aileen grabbed onto Randu's hand. He was trying to make Randu soften. "Did you live in an apartment?"

Randu. "The apartment is rented out and you know it. Even if it's still empty, I won't allow it!"

Aileen stared disappointedly at Randu, she let go of the man's hand then nodded and left the room. "Where's mama?"

Not finding the whereabouts of Sika that he thought was still in the kitchen, Aileen chose to go to the guest room that Sika used.

He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Sika was indeed there. "Can I come in, Ma?"

"Come in, this is your house!"

Without waiting for long, Aileen walked in and approached Sika who was staring at the clothes into the closet. "Want to stay here?"

"What do you mean? You actually said that you wanted to tell me I had to get out of here?" Sika looked at the annoyed Aileen who was standing before her, even so she still tidied up her clothes. "Don't expect. You should know yourself, all this time I took care of you. I'm in trouble right now, so is it worth you to kick me out?"

"I'm sorry, it's not. But ...."

"Your husband, you take care of him!" cut Sika. He pushed Aileen's body away from him.

Aileen was actually so infuriated by Sika's behavior that she seemed not to know herself, but she tried to survive. Aileen breathed a lot of air and exhaled it slowly through her mouth.

"Sister Randu forbid Mama to stay here! And this house is in the name of my husband, Ma!" Aileen smiled faintly as she looked at Sika's annoyed face, even the last clothes she should have put on top in the wardrobe fell off. "Sorry, Mama must be disappointed. But, I was more disappointed and hurt again over all the treatment Mama had for me." Aileen tried to speak calmly.

At first he wanted to give Sika a solution, but the attitude of the middle-aged woman made him think he should talk as he was.

"You!" Sika pointed at Aileen's face with a sharp look. He took his fallen clothes. "How can you say that so casually?"

"I learned from Mama."

"What's? God, you son doesn't know himself!" snapped Sika. He was about to slap, but Aileen quickly held onto his wrist. "Deliver!"

"When do you think I'm a child? All this time instead of Mama always think I'm a burden and also the reason Mama's family is a mess."

"Aileen, don't provoke Mama mad!"

Instead of being afraid, Aileen looked even more courageous to Sika. He no longer wants to be constantly blamed and always feels guilty for actions he never did.

"Mama is always angry, even when I don't make any mistakes. So, it's better now that Mama goes back to Amee's mother's house and fix your relationship. Mama has to learn to mature, Ma'am Amee can be fed up especially other people, Ma!" Aileen immediately let go of Sika's hand and walked out of the room.

He touched his left chest, feeling his fast racing heartbeat. "Well, what did I do just now?"

Aileen felt weak and did not expect it to be that brave.

"What are you doing?" Aileen raised her face and looked at the annoyed Randu who looked so worried. "What did your mom do?"

"There's nothing. Brother, take it easy, I'll do as you ask. I've already kicked my mom!" Aileen brushed off Randu's hand and went to Safira's room when she heard her baby crying.

Randu did not stay still, he chased after Aileen and entered the room. "You really kicked your mama out?"

Aileen just nodded. "Why? Not that you ...." Randu pursed his lips as he got a sharp look from his wife.

"So why don't you have a stand, anyway? I've done it as he wants Brother Loh. Now it's my turn to take care of my mom, ask me to go back to Mommy Amee's house!"

Aileen snorted softly. She was eager to pinch Randu's waist and unwilling to let go, even as her husband asked to be released. However, he chose to hold back his frustration by busily taking care of Safira alone.

"Well, I'll call Amee to get her mom here!" There was no response from Aileen. Randu who had found the name of Amee's contact on his phone became hesitant to contact and hand the phone over to Aileen.

"Why?" Aileen looked at Randu confusedly, but she took the phone. "Saying you want to call Ma'am Amee, why was he given to me, anyway?"

"You're the one who called so there's no misunderstanding!"

"Relatedly? Don't you want to hear Amee's voice?" god Aileen's. He could not help but tease Randu. "Okay, but it's brother who asked!"

Randu just nodded. "Rather than misunderstand again."

"Not lifted, Brother!" Aileen handed the phone to Randu.

"Try again!"

"So, I'm going to bathe Sapphira!" Aileen noticed Randu who seemed hesitant to call Amee back and said softly, "Silent brother, I won't be jealous." After that he took Sapphira to the bathroom.

As they were about to go to sleep, there were repeated knocking on the door. Aileen and Randu looked at each other and chose to leave the room.

"Who's been visiting these nights?" mummified Aileen. He followed Randu who walked in front and opened the door. He heaved a sigh of relief, but a few seconds later looked at his bewildered guest.

"Mr Amee why are the nights here?"

Amee looked so anxious and Aileen invited her in. "Sit down, I'll get you a drink, yeah!"

"Necessary. I just want to find my mom. Mama's here, right?"

Aileen looked at Randu who was silent and then looked back at Amee. "What's wrong? Mama's not here?"

"Mama's not home."

"Mom thought mom was here. Ai, this is wrong. Ma'am angry with mom and immediately throw out mama so." Aileen was so unbearable to see Amee who looked regretful. He tried to calm Amee down by taking her to sit down.

"Mama was actually here, but I kicked mom out, Mom!"

Amee was shocked to the point of pulling her hand that Aileen was holding. "Why, Ai? You got to kick mama out?" snapped Amee.

"I kicked your mama out. Why should my wife bother to take care of your mama, while you whose only child will not take care of her anymore!" Randu, who had been silent since, started talking. He was furious at Amee's overreaction until he dared to yell at his wife.

"Mas!"

"As long as Aileen was never considered a child, she always cornered my wife. Now why would he have to take care of it?"

Amee sighed softly. "I was wrong, I'm sorry. Ai, sorry Ma'am until you snapped!" Amee stood up and left.

"Sir, why did you say that?"

"Leave it. They're both the same. Neither knows themselves."

"But, Brother!"

"You should be as assertive as you were this afternoon when you talked to your mama. Now, never keep nodding and accepting all their rude remarks. You deserve to be happy!"
