Tama And Ratna

Tama And Ratna
106. The Grandma's House

This afternoon Uli came to Ratna's house because Ratna said she needed her help to shop for the things they had to bring in the morning. They were leaving after dawn so today Ratna prepared supplies for them to bring. At least snacks, milk, and porridge for Aksa so that he does not fuss during the trip. Ratna also needs to keep eating so she cooks some food for them.

"This is all Mom?" ask Uli.

"You try to help check what is lacking, how rich there are still ngganjel that," Ratna said checking the contents of the truck.

"You don't buy wet wipes because at home there is still?" tanya Uli realizes if Ratna does not buy it.

"Oiya, what else?"

"The money is already Ma'am," replied Uli then both brought groceries to the cashier.

The overcast had already started to turn into drizzling rain when Uli and Ratna stepped out of the supermarket. It was fortunate that Ratna followed Tama's advice to use the car so they didn't need any hassles because Ratna wasn't just shopping in one place. He also bought some bakpia dus and gudeg as souvenirs for Tama's relatives there.

"Uli, can you ask me something?" ask Ratna.

"What Mom?"

"Do you have a boyfriend?" ask Ratna.

"I'm not dating Mom. I am the only child in the family. You are not working because of illness, Mother is also just selling cakes in the market, the income is not how much. I'm required to be the backbone of Mom, so I don't want to date because I think dating is a waste of time" Ratna said.

"But if anyone wants to get close to you how?" ask Ratna again.

"If the intention is good anyway I open Bu, only if to mess around I better not know," said Uli again.

"What's wrong Mom suddenly asked?" ask Uli.

"You know not the aide of the Father whose name is Bayu? As I recall, you've met the same person" Ratna said.

"Oh Bang Bayu huh? Yes, the time to pick up the Father yesterday played with Aksa, right, Mom?"

"Yes. He said he wanted to know you further. You want to?" ask Ratna.

"My mother's boyfriend again?"

"It's not Uli's soul mate, I said acquaintance. Things later you become brothers or so the couple is up to you as long as you are not an enemy. Try it first, he's a good guy. Believers of the Father who God willing will not mess with you. If he dares to play around saying the same I let me scold him directly," said Ratna.

"Where?" ratna asked because some time Uli did not answer her request.

"May you, if you have said so I believe in Mom," he said with a blush.

...***...

It was not only Uli who agreed to it. Bayu even thanked his commander for helping him get close to the idol. The baby has never been in love. Although since school she became famous among female friends, but none can win her heart. There's one, but the girl won't retaliate, she doesn't even think Bayu exists. The girl prefers other people and from the news that Bayu heard she was married and came to live with her husband in Batam.

Uli probably only met Bayu once. But somehow got a boost from where he kept looking at the girl. When he saw Uli holding his commander's son, it made Bayu's heart like an arid land that fell rainwater. Once acquainted and heard his voice, the arid land began to grow flowers until Bayu finally decided to agree to commander Aji's offer. Although he must be willing to be the driver of his commander for a week, he does not matter if he can be given a chance to know further with the girl who has stolen his heart.

Bayu has packed up the innards. Just a few pieces of towel clothing, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, some sachet shampoo and razor so he can keep looking neat. He put it in a medium-sized backpack then with his flagship Red Supra motor he set off for the commander's house.

"You're going back to Bay?" ask Tri.

"About. I joined the commander of Aji to Jakarta," replied Bayu while looking in front of the mirror.

"Will you take advantage of your precious holiday just to join the commander? How could the commander have ngajak elo anyway?" ask Tri.

"Lumayan is a driver a week, but with additional windfall. I'll join you, too" said Bayu.

As soon as Bayu reached the home of commander Aji, he was immediately asked to put a motor into the house and help his commander manate the car. Bayu also check the condition of the engine and the tires of his car. Ensuring his commander's car is safe for long-distance travel.

"Om Bayu, help open the trunk dong," said Ratna who came out carrying 2 large bags that seemed to contain the needs of the family.

After Bu Aji, Bayu saw now Uli who came out. He put his bag into the trunk and then opened the back door putting a blue backpack containing the needs of the characters. He also placed a bag of water and snacks.

"Dad, in check again your stuff is not left?" ratna asked her husband.

"Nothing. Nih Mommy handphone same wallet Dad. Get in your bag, will you?" ask Tama.

"Yasudah yuk departed. Aksara want the same Father is the same Mother?" ask Ratna.

"Well," said Aksa, stretching out his hands toward his father.

"Yep, the same Dad sat in front of ya," said Tama.

He carried Aksa with his left hand, then with his right hand he brought a pillow and a blanket for Aksara. Ratna was the last one out of the house. After making sure all the needs were carried away, and the house he left in safe condition. Ratna removed the gas hose and all the sockets that were still stuck. Ratna checked every corner of her house. After he finished he turned on the porch lights and then locked his house and gate.

The red car slowly walked out of the alley towards the ring road. The wood that drives next to him sits Tama and Aksara. On the back bench were Uli and Ratna. Tama recited the prayer with a voice so that his son could learn to pray as well. He raised Aksa's small hand and rubbed it on Aksa's face when he finished praying.

"Om Bayu if tired, laper, or whatever you say don't be shy, yes" Ratna said.

"Ready Ma'am" said Bayu.

"No need to speed Bay, relax the road. The intention of these streets kita," added Tama.

"Each commander," Bayu said this time to Tama.

"Om Yu..," said Aksa patting Om Bayu's arm with both hands.

"Iya Sa, Om Bayu slowly. Let Aksa survive to the grandmother's house," said Bayu made Aksa clap.
