Tama And Ratna

Tama And Ratna
12. Stressful

Again time just passed. It does not feel as well it turns out that Tama and Ratna's 3-year marriage has run. Ratna is currently undergoing PPDS as her initial step to become a surgeon like her dream. Luckily Tama supported Ratna's decision, she even happily set aside some of her salary for Ratna's education expenses.

Already 1 year running, Ratna began to experience some obstacles. His first year was fine, but this second year he felt a big difference. He was already starting to be removed by his supervisor. Ratna has also been given the responsibility to educate and care for several post-operative patients without being accompanied again.

Ratna's busy work forced her to stay in the hospital for decades. Sometimes Ratna would come home late at night, or even early in the morning. This alone has been about 3 days he did not greet with Tama. Sometimes he can only go home when Tama is asleep or vice versa, Tama who came home late so did not have the opportunity to chat with Ratna because his wife was already asleep.

Other hard years they are living right now. Despite all their efforts to communicate, but busyness forces them to lose contact for some time. Ratna only saw 2 messages from Tama who set out on a reconnaissance mission outside the city and did not know when he would come home. Even now Ratna had no time to worry. He can only pray, hope Tama is okay there. May her beloved husband come home safe and be able to see her again.

"Ratna, how are you still here? Don't you have a schedule for visits?" ask Bima who took the same PPDS as her.

"What time is it?"

"Hour 8.13. Ratna you're late" Bima said again.

"Astagfirullah, I said what the hell.... Sorry Bim I stayed first, bye," said Ratna directly running out of her study.

Today passed heavily for Ratna. The delay this morning made him scolded for a full day not only from his supervisor but also from his other resident friends. They did not accept it because of Ratna's mistake they were also scolded.

Ratna can finally go home tonight. He was allowed to go home after spending the night in the hospital for the previous 2 nights. Ratna came home very tired. She did not even have the energy to greet Ms. Odah who was in the middle of a video call with her two children on the terrace. Ratna immediately grabbed the key, then went inside the house.

The house feels cold, dark and empty. Without Tama's presence there the house doesn't feel like home. Ratna immediately threw herself down without removing her glasses, without taking off her shoes, nor did she change her clothes. He just put his bag carelessly on the sofa and immediately fell asleep so tired.

By midnight, Tama finally came home too. He finds the unlocked house instantly frantically looking for Ratna who turns out to be asleep in the bed with a very uncomfortable position. Ratna sleeps on her side with both her legs fixed on the ground. He did not even use a pillow and only used his right hand to support the neck.

I was actually too tired. Seeing the condition of the house like this was a mess he was going to reprimand Ratna, but seeing Ratna in such a condition made her anger fade away. Tama raised both of Ratna's legs slowly. Tama then follows Ratna to sleep without changing her clothes as well.

"I'm sorry, Mas was almost mad at you" Tama whispered in Ratna's ear.

Tama who almost closed her eyes saw a drop of Ratna's tears flowing down her temple making Tama more sure if Ratna is not in good condition.

The next morning, Ratna woke up first with an uncontrollable dizzy head condition. He remembered last night he just slept in a position that was not right. But this morning he woke up in a good sleeping position. I even wear a blanket. As Ratna was about to move on she felt the presence of someone there. One burly hand wrapped around his body wrapped him in an embrace. Ratna recognized this hug was Tama's husband so it didn't take long for Ratna to immediately turn around and hug back Tama who hadn't even woken up.

"Dec? You cry?" tanya Tama who woke up as soon as Ratna hugged her earlier.

Tama felt the ringing from inside her arms. Tama was not satisfied, she wanted to ascertain for herself whether Ratna was really crying or not but only would she let go of her link, Ratna again tightened her arms.

"This one is a moment. Don't let go..," said Ratna.

"Udah yuk, we have breakfast first. Later if we still miss the hug again after eating," said Tama invites Ratna to rise from the bed.

Tama and Ratna only split up while bathing, the rest of Tama never moved away from Ratna. Even when Ratna was struggling in front of the stove Tama still continued to be behind her. Occasionally kissing the tip of Ratna's head, occasionally also hugging her from behind.

"Here let me go. You make coffee dong dek, Mas kangen your coffee," said Tama take over Ratna's work.

Ratna looks unappetised this morning. He just stirred his rice without any energy.

"Why deck? It's pity that your rice is stirring so dizzy he later," said Tama.

"No appetite for food" lamented Ratna.

Tama stretched out her hand only to stick the back of her hand on Ratna's forehead. Tama felt if Ratna's body temperature was not as usual. She had a fever, moreover Tama also saw cold sweat running down her forehead. Ratna also looked a little cold.

"Sir, are you on holiday today?" ask Tama.

"Yes, I'm on the shift tonight. But keep the stand by position," replied Ratna.

"Isitrahat yes, you have this fever."

Ratna nodded, "Mas I want to go to sleep, okay? Later the dirty dishes will stay let Ratna who settled."

"You're sick so you want to finish the house how? I'm the one who's sorted out is not papa. You are consumed first eat it, at least the stomach is filled a little so that you can take medicine," said Ratna.

"No, go straight to sleep. My head is so dizzy" complained Ratna again.

"Judah yes there sleep, do not lose yourself" said Tama.

Ratna finally went back inside her room leaving Tama alone to spend her morning meal at the dining table. After finishing, Tama grabbed Ratna's plate and finished her meal as well. Unfortunately if discarded, after all Ratna if eating neat. It is still worth eating by Tama.

Finished washing the dishes, Tama stepped up following Ratna into the room. He put Ratna's warm tea on the nightstand next to the new bed he walked to the shelf in the corner of the tv table to pick up the P3K box. The P3K box they have is quite complete, not only because Ratna is a doctor, but Tama himself is also well aware of how important this object is in the house.

Tama grabbed a compress plaster and then placed it on Ratna's forehead. Looks like Ratna's not asleep. He just tried to keep his eyes closed, Ratna continued to roll to the right and left due to the dizziness that bothered him. Tama attentively fixed Ratna's blanket and patted her shoulders slowly making Ratna a little calmer.

"Cepet healed unfortunately Mas," said Tama while kissing the forehead Ratna who had returned to sleep.
