Tama And Ratna

Tama And Ratna
40. New friend

The first day of Ratna went well. Now she just needed to pack her things and walk out of the hospital towards the front door because her husband was already waiting there. Ratna turned off her laptop, put it in a bag with the pen and all the other gear. Ratna releases her snail and hangs her in a locker with the name tag dr. Adiratna Sp's. B.

"Defend Ratna, just a few more years and the title will be embedded in front of your name" murmured Ratna who was still looking at her name tag.

Ratna then stepped out to meet her husband who was waiting. As soon as Ratna reached the front door, a red car immediately approached her. The left glass door slowly opened revealing the smiling face of her husband. He's not wearing a uniform, the artist he wants to take Ratna for a leisurely walk tonight. Tama said she wanted to celebrate Ratna's success.

"Mas, can you ask for anterin to back off?" ratna asked after she got in the car and closed the window.

"Where?"

"To the medical device store. My stethoscope is broken, I also want to buy equipment for training at home" Ratna said.

"Your grandfather didn't plan the S3 right?" ask Tama.

"No, Mas, mourn first. The cost of education yesterday has not been able to return capital yes time already want to add-in the burden. I want to enjoy life for a while, before you actually enter the census and finally our lives are more attached" Ratna said.

"But you don't mind if Mas goes into the Densus?"

"Tama, we promised. We will support each other's dreams" Ratna said, making Tama smile happily. Grateful she could have Ratna as a wife, a friend who would support her for life.

You have heard, behind a successful man there must be a great woman behind him. That figure was his wife Ratna. He who never complained about Tama's work, he who never asked where Tama went to on duty when he didn't come home for days, he never even protested when Tama asked him to keep life simple. If Ratna wasn't Tama, she would be a much better woman by now. Maybe Ratna can afford to buy a house with a fish pond in her yard, buy the luxury car of her dreams, and travel abroad like her dreams.

Ratna put it all down just for the sake of sharing Tama who came to her parents' house armed with a promise to make her happy and look after her without any definite guarantees. He is willing to give up all his earthly desires just to join in life with Tama. Only one he doesn't want to let go of. Ratna is eager to become a professor and teach prospective doctors. He wanted his knowledge to be useful to many people.

"I will plan the next step after Mas's position is fixed. I'm afraid I'll start here, uh it turns out that Mas moved far away" Ratna said.

"Yes it was likely moved to Balikpapan that was the closest. If it is the most distant, it can go anywhere. Being sent off the island is also possible. Or if you are lucky you can work in Mabes. The point is not to be here anymore" Tama said.

"When you just become a specialist, just a seneng hospital can have a new specialist doctor already want to move only you," continued Tama.

Ratna did not reply, she just laughed then removed her seatbelt. He stepped down after Tama finished parking the car. Ratna first entered the medical store while Tama followed behind her. Ratna once said, if for his purposes this one he does not want Tama to help. Whatever equipment he needed for his studies he was willing to buy himself. He said he loved that his salary was unused. It didn't take long for him to be there, after paying for all his groceries, Ratna and Tama stepped out of the store.

Tama once invited Ratna to dinner at a family restaurant. They sit in a small gazebo with a view of a large fish pond that has an artificial waterfall as well. Just like Ratna said she wanted to be in her yard.

"The place is good Mas" said Ratna, looking at the waterwheel that continues to spin under the artificial waterfall.

"You likey?"

"Banget," said Ratna again.

"Dek, Mas has never told you that Mas has a heritage house from Papa in Jogja?" ask Tama.

"Well, why are you suddenly talking about that?"

"House's empty deck now. It was contracted with Mama but already this year no one is empathetic and finally began to break down here and there. I suddenly wanted to create your dream home there. We wake up and make our retirement home. Wouldn't you?" ask Tama.

"By Mas, step by step we wake up. But I'm helping you, not all of you" Ratna said.

"certain. We wake up together. We plan everything, Mas's dream and yours," Tama said.

"Minimalist house without Mas's dream partition and the spacious courtyard of my dreams. The shadow has been very fond of me Mas, may we be given long life. Live to the end of all our dreams" Ratna said.

"Sir."

"Hmm?"

"Tow there," said Tama asking Ratna to turn her back.

"Why?"

"Udah faced there first," said Tama finally made Ratna look back.

As Ratna did so against Tama's will, she ended up turning her wife's body around perfectly facing backwards. He then grabbed something from inside his jacket pocket. Take it out of the small black box and put it on Ratna's neck. Ratna was surprised because she thought Tama would hug her from behind when both hands passed her neck but no, her husband just wanted to put something in there. A gold necklace with a small maple leaf shaped pendant.

"You said you wanted to go to Canada to see maple leaves falling, right? I haven't been able to take you there so I'm great-granddaughter in necklace form first huh," Tama said.

"By the way, happy birthday dear. Sorry late, Mas ngaku wrong Mas just remembered when it was past 2 days," said Tama.

"Ahh Mas Pinter really makes me cry, wonder. Though not say nor papa, nothing special this on my birthday," said Ratna.

"But we're marrying her for your birthday, Dek. No papa, we will never celebrate" said Tama.

Ratna nodded then brought her seat closer so she could hug her husband. If he didn't remember he was in a common area, he would have kissed Tama who suddenly became so romantic by giving all of this to Ratna today.

After finishing eating, Tama and Ratna decided to go home. They want to continue their conversation at home while watching tv or just listening to music in the room. Ratna is not allowed to follow Tama to the cashier so she waits in the parking lot. Not long ago Ratna was there, she saw someone in a wheelchair get out of the car. The conditions around dark so Ratna must narrow her eyes before realizing if it turns out she is Zahra her new friend.

"Zahra?" call Ratna.

"Oh Ratna, hi. Is it dinner?"

"Yes, but it's done. I was waiting for my husband" Ratna said.

"Oh yes introduce him my husband, his name is Rangga. This is Ratna, the doctor I told you about" Zahra said.

"Include me Rangga," he said as he shook Ratna's hand.

"I'm Ratna, nice to meet you" Ratna said.

"Well, Ratna will see you tomorrow. Bye bye," said Zahra who returned to running her wheelchair assisted by her husband.

Seeing Zahra with her husband will be another beautiful sight that she will never tire of admiring. Seeing how the man named Rangga was treating his wife, he loved his wife so much with all his heart. Zahra must have been lucky, as lucky as she could have Tama.

"Dec, what's wrong?"

"Huh? When did it come?"

"Not long. You're so cool, so you want to go home?"

"Yes so," said Ratna who followed Tama to get in the car.
