77. New strategy
Tom stared at the large screen in the control room as he sighed, "Damn it, am I really unable to estimate the Serpent Lord's strength?"
He pressed a few buttons and the screen split into a few more pieces, he stared at the screen and said, "Hello, everyone..."
"Yes, what's wrong?" John asked, "What's the situation?"
"There's a big monster, but we sure can handle it..." Tom replied, "What's the situation there?"
"Relax, nothing strikes." replied Mir, "And one more thing, the gatenya began to disappear little by little."
"What are your orders, Tom? In Hawaii there are no more monsters and gates, so this island should be safe from threats..." Yen says.
Tom closed his eyes, while a report from William came in and he said, "Tom, the gate appears again..."
"In Brazil there's nothing, we BraveWarrior and EasternDragon's forces have cleared everything in no time." Yao said as he raised his index finger, "Govern?"
"That means no more threats." Tom muttered, he looked up at the screen again and said, "All of you, stand by in position, I'll go first." After that, he turned off the screen.
"Can I?" tom muttered again as he grabbed his long, crimson coat, "Maybe it's time.." he walked out of the control room.
In the corridor, he met a Hunter who gave him a small object and said, "Sir Tom, please use this thing, because your fight will be broadcast all over the world."
Tom just nodded and accepted it then put it on, after finishing wearing it he ran down the corridor towards the back room of the plane.

"I think we should surround the snake from all directions while making a strong attack." The Star said, "I see, the outer shell of the snake looks hard, so it needs to attack it many times and can scratch it."
"From its appearance can be seen so, if we focus too much on the skin, then we can just forget the snake's mouth that can spout toxins that are harmful to us and around." Vigo added, "If so, we can divide the army."
"The plane has risen several meters from the ground, we can safely discuss the strategy, while continuing to try to keep the snake from getting close." Tom came closer with his equipment that he had worn in the form of thick armor, iron gloves in both hands, and his long suit that was deep red, "The squad is divided into four teams..."
"The first team is the one who takes care of the front of the snake that I will lead with Vigo." Tom glanced at Vigo, "Do you already have a substitute weapon for the Dragon Sword of Destruction?"
"This plane has at least a few powerful firearms and I'm going to use one of them, even if it's not a sword I'm going to wear." Answer Vigo.
"The second team is the team that takes care of the snake's side and is led by Alex, Joko, Yuuki, Bintang, Chervanov, and Yudhi." Tom glanced at the few people next to him, "You guys ready?"
The glimpsed nodded his ready mark and Tom continued, "The third team is the one taking care of the long-range attack that will be led by Mark and Jessica."
Mark and Jessica nodded, and Tom smiled, "And last is the fourth team that will help pass the shots from the plane to be led by Nanami and Vano."
The star raised his hand and asked, "What plan is certain? Shooting through a plane could have put us in danger by gunfire, are you sure you did?"
"That's why we do it, if we use the aircraft's automated system, it could happen." Mark replied, "We can only target Monsters if we are in control of the aircraft's weaponry."
"And so..." Vano raised his hand, "Do you have any plans to ask the other troops for help?"
"Yes." replied Tom, "But let them take care of their territory first, then they come here..."
Tom stood up and everyone stood up, he took a deep breath and exclaimed, "Everything! Give all your abilities to face the snake!"

As planned, the C-140 Hercules descended up to three meters from the ground level to provide an opportunity for the Hunters to descend, after which the Hunters assigned had all descended, the plane rose again to a height of fifty meters above ground, an altitude considered safe to fire, which also did not disturb the shooters who were on the ground.
Tom, Vigo, and about ten Hunters with their large-looking weaponry advanced toward the snake, while the team led by Alex split the team again in two, who takes care of the left side and the right side.
"All, move!" Alex exclaimed as he pulled his dagger, "The monster is large and certainly he cannot move freely with that size!"
The seat pulls his dagger and leads Hunter to move to the right side while Alex takes care of his left side.
The star drew its sword and jumped high, trying to reach the upper side of the snake, along with Chervanov who was with it.
"Be careful cake, it's about three meters high..." Chervanov recalls, "Remember the age of the cake, if it falls is not funny..."
"Hmph, I won't fall!" The star exclaimed, "Be careful of yourself!"
Chervanov smiled faintly and he aimed both ends of his spear at the snake's skin then pierced it with full force. Instead of being translucent, there was like both of his spears hitting thick iron.
"Curtain!" Chervanov screeched, "Hard!"
The star flowed a bit of his stamina and his sword smoldering then he slashed the skin at full force, which could not even scratch it yet.
Faintly, the two heard the heavy words of men that sounded loudly in their ears.
"You guys... Container and human... Trying to finish off the Serpent Lord with your usual abilities? Dreams..."
Up ahead, Tom who heard it was a little angry from feeling slighted by the Monster. Both of his iron gloves were smoldering and he pointed his palm forward, "Fire Burst!"
A fierce burst of flames shot out from his palm, more precisely his iron glove palm, and the burst of flames moved towards the snake's mouth.
The snake took in its breath then blew out the burst of fire, then opened its mouth wide, "This... New spray..."
Tom took a breath and exclaimed, "Everyone, close your noses!"
The Hunters nearby jumped back and then covered their noses.
After they took some distance from the snake, purple-colored smoke came out from the Monster's mouth and Tom saw it as poison. He tightened his grip on his nose to keep the poison smoke from getting into his nose.

"It's not, is it?! Goddamnit!" Tom clucked and he raised his left hand then pointed his palm forward then unleashed a burst of fire.
He can't see Vigo for now, but he believes the man must be trying to find a way to attack.
By the time the new fight began, Hunter's side had been cornered with a hard shell and a burst of poison smoke that held the Hunters to keep fighting back.
Can they win the Raid? Or did they lose?
