Chapter 10 Making up for Mistakes

Clara was astonished by what Duke Freiheit said, because how could a Duke be late but apologized by granting someone else's request. According to Clara, a normal person apologizes with enough words, but the Duke instead asked to make a request like a genie of desire because it felt bad because it was too late from the promised time.

"No need, an apology is enough,"

"And you paying for my lunch at this fancy restaurant is enough for me" said Clara, shaking her head with a stiff smile at the Duke's objections

The Duke was dissatisfied with the answer given by Clara, he felt that Clara seemed to be angry with him for being late until lunch time arrived, because the last time she went shopping with her cousin and she was late the woman went on a rampage in public by hitting her.

Clara is too calm this makes her feel that this is the latest way women are angry if they are late and she must think how to make up for the right from her mistakes. Not far from the Duke and Clara's table, two couples were asked to work on weekends for luxury food and become priority customers ordering dresses at famous boutiques.

"I didn't expect him to come to us to come to a restaurant just to help him establish a good relationship with the little squirrel girl," said a woman with a flat gaze staring at the duke sitting in front of Clara who was several meters away from the two couples

"But Dain, if you feel like you still want to make amends to the daughter of the Fragrante family you just give her a gift in the form of flowers or something else" said the man who is the husband of Asha

The words from her friends who supported her made her think to buy flowers because it would not be memorable if she gave the dress in her shop to apologize. "Send all the dresses that this lady tried on to the Earl Fragrante family mansion" the duke told his subordinates who were in the boutique at lightning speed they were working on the duke's orders,
