Chapter 6 Tea Party

After that brief introduction, the, Clara and Violet become close friends and tell each other about their lives from the things they like to the things they don't like until they both don't realize that time is late.

"Clara, thanks for the nice cake treat, it's very late now, so how about I drive you home in my car?"

"Didn't it trouble Violet?" clara asked with a worried look of fear of distressing others because Clara had only met for the first time

"If it's a hassle I'm certainly not going to offer you, let's get in the carriage,"

"Don't forget to take your bodyguard with you" said Violet with a gentle smile but the latter surprised Clara as Violet found out that Ariana was not a servant but a bodyguard

Clara paused her intention to ask Violet, she decided to enter first and speak. After boarding the train began to walk towards the residence of Fragrante mansion.

"Violet, how did you know that Ariana was a bodyguard instead of a waitress? Because it should be difficult not to recognize" said Clara with a curious look at the person sitting in front of her

Violet fell silent and thought for a moment before giving Clara an easy-to-understand explanation but she instead smiled with a finger that touched her lips hinting that it was a secret. Clara became curious how Violet found out just in looking and Ariana was also not seen from the beginning carrying any weapons while accompanying her, Clara who was immersed in the thought of unwittingly finally reaching her family mansion.

"Violet, thank you for taking me home,"

"Didn't you want to stop by for tea?" asked Clara who was watching Violet sitting inside the carriage only to be answered with a soft coil

"Thank you for offering, but I have to go home to the mansion where I live otherwise my cousin will worry about me,"

"I'll visit you next time but we'll definitely meet again at Duchess Aelfraed's tea party" said Violet, who winked at Clara and then re-runs her carriage

Clara waved her hand as a sign of their farewell and thank you. Then Clara went inside the house after she saw Violet had come out of the gate of her house.

After a few steps into the house there was a worried middle-aged male figure towards him, Clara looked at the middle-aged man with a smile.

"Dad I'm home,"

"Did anything make you so worried?" clara asked with a worried look

The father shook his head with a relieved look and hugged Clara with a grateful look, because he thought his daughter or his family offended the royal family after he saw the royal family horse-drawn carriage that entered through the gates of the mansion and his daughter who had not come home shopping made him even more worried that there would be problems with his family.

"Dad thinks you're making trouble with the royal family who are in the next kingdom because there's a royal family train and plus you haven't been home yet," said the father who immediately hugged his precious only daughter because Clara is a daughter who will inherit the family someday so of course her parents are very worried

"Ah... Tired even though I planned to just go out to buy a dress so I could attend the tea party held, but instead there are people who like to look for the ugliness of others out loud,"

A few days later the dress ordered by Clara had arrived at the mansion ushered directly by the boutique owner into the mansion. The style of dress chosen by Violet who initially wanted to be made as a second dress is very beautiful according to Clara, and Clara didn't expect that in the dress box was a jewelry box with a letter that said it was for a friendship gift. Clara smiled as she read the contents of the letter which she thought was very memorable and valuable in the folding of the letter and was stored by Clara in a box as a memento.

"It might be too much to call Violet in the novel an antagonist because she's so kind to me,"

"Clara, haven't seen each other in a long time,"
