Chapter 15 The Agreement

Clara did not expect that the male figure who would be engaged to her was a man who had met her more than once and this time the figure was in front of her to become her fiance. The man himself was no longer surprised, because his own father asked him to go to the place.

"This is my son, the next new Duke of the Freiheit family and I'm sure you two know each other, because I've heard rumors that you two danced at that big party,"

"His name is Dain Freiheit" said the man who was the head of the Freiheit family before it turned out to be the father of the Duke who led the territory of Freiheit

Clara could only smile stiffly staring at the male figure who kept looking at her at the time introduced by the previous Duke Freiheit. After the introduction and a brief conversation, Clara and Dain are asked to leave the living room, as there is something else to talk to the parents about.

'It is only fitting that when I see that face I feel familiar it turns out father and son, ' said Clara in her heart with a long sigh

The atmosphere of both was very quiet, Dain just followed Clara walking wherever her goal she would continue to follow until at last Clara walked into the second guest room in the mansion. The waiter quickly served the tea without having to be signaled that Clara would talk to the Duke.

"I remember asking you to call me Freiheit or Dain,"

"But you better call me Dain because we're gonna be a couple fiancees," said the Duke immediately interrupted the words from Clara can only make Clara nod understanding then surprised by the last sentence spoken by the man in front of her.

Suddenly the waiter came and brought tea and left the room as quickly as possible. After the servant came out, Clara sighed and drank the tea that was in the cup.

"Clara, are you okay? Because you have sighed twice since we met," Dain said with a gentle smile

Clara who listened to her name was called directly by the male figure in front of her directly spitting tea towards the male figure in front of her. The figure of the man could only smile and wipe the tea that was sprayed by Clara, surprised at being called by her name directly while Clara quickly gave a handkerchief to Dain who had wet his face when after calling Clara's name directly without cue.

"I'm sorry, it's because I'm surprised someone suddenly called my name directly,"

"So I accidentally spouted her tea" Clara said with a look and a guilty feeling to the male figure who was about to get engaged to her

Duke Freiheit is usually discussed among the public as a tyrant, a criminal and a bloodthirsty person, but in front of Clara the male figure discussed was very much different because with the evidence Clara spouted tea accidentally she was not angry at all but instead she smiled making Clara felt like he had no problem with the tea he was spouting.

"Dain, call me Dain" said Dain, who interrupted Clara's talk with great emphasis on her name so that she would speak her name when calling or talking to her because she was engaged to Clara

"Alright, Dain did you really agree to this engagement? Do you really not mind this engagement?" clara asked with a look of doubt and a little doubt considering that Dain in the novel was obsessed with the Holy Girl the main character was even willing to do such a crazy thing just to get love from the girl

Clara was a little afraid of the answer that Dain might give her about the fact that she might just please her parents. Clara only hopes for a truthful answer from Dain's heart regarding the engagement from both parties direct parents.

Dain who listened to the speech from Clara could only follow what he wanted, because otherwise Clara could not agree to free immediately. Both Clara and Dain listed the things they agreed on. If one of the two commits a violation then the cancellation of the engagement will occur if one of them breaks it.

After the discussion, the two went to the first guest room because both of them were called. Both of their parents had agreed to do this engagement and the engagement party will be held next month, both of them will be held, Clara and Dain could only follow the wishes of the two parents who had mutually agreed to the matter.

The next day until a letter from Duke Freiheit's residence, the letter contained Dain's invitation to take Clara for a tour of the eastern city in one of the western regions, Clara was very much looking forward to a trip she had never done for example was a trip that made them leave next Sunday according to what was written in the letter.

Time passed very quickly until next week had arrived and Clara was ready to travel for two weeks later, but how shocked she was by the contents of the train that picked her up. A Duke and a girl are in a train that is likely to join in the journey they will go through together later.

Clara was surprised but she also could not comment on the figure of the man who told her nothing but a call to go to one of the areas where the easterners lived.
