The Duke's Substitute Wife

The Duke's Substitute Wife
First meeting

Viola propped up his chin during the journey. His mind was glaring far and wide about the life of the owner of his original body. Many did not like him during his stay at Duke Erland's residence. Only Duke Erland's first wife, Brisa and her older sister were very kind to him.

"Mrs is there something. Forgive me for not being able to take good care of the Madam." lamented Flora, his loyal servant.

Viola only glanced and then returned to his original face. Just flat and cold. He does not want to explain it at length, just for free. At the end of the day, he would be considered insane.

"I'm sorry madam. If only I had taken the flowers. Surely the madam will not fall." said Flora sobbing as she wiped her tears. He felt deep regret.

Viola closed his eyes, his head he rested on the back of the chair. Her brain was already quail thinking about her life path and now she had to listen to Flora's cries.

"I don't think about her pain but I think about how there's a mother." Viola lied. Even though his mouth is lying, but it cannot be denied. His heart misses him very much.

Flora was crying more and more, she also felt that she missed her master. He knew very well when his employer was not treated fairly. Every day he had to see the master who always shed his tears. Looking towards a husband and wife who love each other.

I'm sure, Madam must have come back and brought her inner Duchess furious.

"Mrs be patient, I'm sure Mrs Lilliana must have taken her away" he said with confidence.

As sad as possible, Viola nodded his head.

Moments later, the carriage stopped in front of a 'Voice of Love' building'.

"Let's Madam, we should immediately check on the mistress' wound" Flora said sticking out her hand, letting Viola walk first.

Viola didn't say much, he just followed Flora and the Doctor. After a while, the bandage was attached to Viola's head.

"Sorry Doctor, excuse me" he said after seeing Viola begin to drift apart.

Actually, what's wrong with Madam why not talk and just reply with a cold tat.

A short while later, the carriage entered a spacious courtyard. Then stop in front of a two-story residence. Viola looked around the residence, a fish pond beside the courtyard decorated with red roses. Not far from the pool, there was a white chair and a table. It looks like it's the front garden.

Viola looked towards the towering, white-spattered building as well as the potted flower plants hanging on the wall. Viola admitted, the residence was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The little green grass that grew in the courtyard was well-groomed.

"Let's Madam." said Flora while thrusting her hand, inviting.

Viola stopped his steps, as he looked at a room. Yeah, that room, the one dedicated to Duke Cristin's wedding to his sister Abella. The memory came back again, with Duke Cristin telling Viola not to enter the room. Even Duke Kristin had Viola sleep in another room.

Huh

Viola smiled sinisterly then continued her footsteps. Arriving in the room. Viola looked around the room, Viola's actions did not escape Flora's vision. Even Flora felt strange. Viola today was so foreign to him, but he brushed off all his thoughts. Her face was the same, it remained Viola her employer.

"Madam I will prepare water for the mistress. After that the lady must rest." he said.

"Just take a break" said someone in a sharp tone.

Viola turned his head, looking at the woman who was no longer young while smiling sinisterly at him. Viola tried to remember who the person in front of him was. She smiled cynically, Abella's aunt who hated Viola so much.
