The Duke's Substitute Wife

The Duke's Substitute Wife
Meeting with Marquess Ramon

Abella and Lucia leave the Duke's residence. At exactly 06:30 the two girls reached a restaurant that Abella requested.

Lucia got off her horse, followed by Abella. Both women wear body-covering robes. He doesn't want to be known by anyone. Including Duke Arland's bodyguards who are now surrounding the city of his territory.

Abella walks with Lucia. They entered the Restaurant, looking at every table. And his gaze locked onto the man in the left corner who was drinking a glass of wine.

"Marquess," Abella opened a little cover of her face. He sat in front of the man. "Sorry I'm late, because Duchess Viola and Duke Cristin are at my residence. I don't think so messy of them." Abella intended to light a fire. Marquess Ramon stared at him, then turned to the wine in front of him and took a sip.

Abella loosened her head towards Lucia. He was feeling uneasy, feeling Marquess Ramon was different.

"Marquess aren't you jealous of Duchess Viola's closeness to Duke Cristin."

Marquess Ramon stopped the Wine flowing into her glass. "Jealous, I'm jealous." He answered briefly and then continued to pour the wine.

Good !

"Actually I still love His Highness the Duke. And we can fight together to get his love." Abella said to the corner of her lips.

glug

"Cooperation, huh." Marquess Ramon put the glass down violently. "I'm not interested at all." Duke Cristin chuckled. "I realized love does require sacrifice."

"Sacrifice, but not sacrifice myself and yourself. Viola should have sacrificed. I've sacrificed enough."

"He's not the real Viola, whether you believe it or not. Your viola has died and she's the foreign woman who caused it."

"Did you say right?" ask Marquess Ramon. Actually he also feels foreign to Viola now. Suddenly his anger came out of his heart.

"True, she's not the real Viola. I don't know what magic he's doing. Did Marques ever hear of a foreign soul having entered into a dead body. It's true it's like this."

"No way" said Marquess Ramon in disbelief. "There can't be such a fairy tale,"

Abella was silent for a moment, she took her breath patiently. It took a while to convince Marquess Ramon. "It's up to the Marquess to believe it or not, but that's the truth. She's not the real Viola or my sister, she's just a foreign soul taking over my sister's body. Even now my entire family and His Highness Duke Cristin trust him." Obviously Abella held back in annoyance. His throat was dry speaking long and wide, all this time he had only said a word or two.

"If the Lord Marquess does not believe it, please lord Marquess ask it herself."

His eyes looked to the left right with his head slightly lowered, his brain spinning at his dream. Where she saw Viola crying in a white dress and hugging her tightly.

"Take him off, he's your moon." Marquess Ramon holds his heart. Now he understood what the dream meant. From the beginning, he was aware of his feelings. Viola no longer needed himself.

"If she wasn't Viola, I wouldn't have gone after her." Marquess Ramon said, flapping her hands tightly, she stepped her legs out, leaving Abella round her eyes. His steps were felt in a flood of tears. Arriving at his carriage, he cried his heart and mind. The woman was so foreign. It turned out that his Violin had left, his nature and mannerisms were not the same.

"Sir, do we need to go to the hospital?" ask the knight worried.

"No ! we need to get home soon." The Marquess Ramon. All day and night he thought of his dream and this was the answer, he could not accept it.
