The Duke's Substitute Wife

The Duke's Substitute Wife
Truth

"Huh," Viola clucked his waist, he looked towards the sky. "Until when are you going to stay that way? is there no other job?" ask Viola. He leaned his back against a solid white-painted pole with a blue carving in the middle. Viola changed the position of his hand by shortening.

"There's no more Viola, I'm not your Viola. I mean, I'm not your real wife.

Duke Cristin was still silent, he digested Viola's words. He thinks it makes no sense. He just put his ears wide.

"Duchess Violin. I'm Duke Cristin apologizing to you."

"I forgive you, now come with me and change your clothes, and then put warm clothes on your body. I don't want to feel guilty for someone." Viola left Duke Cristin, then was followed by him.

Viola sat on a chair, in front of him was a fire interrupting. I don't know what his fate will be like after he tells the truth. He doesn't want to live with lies.

"Vio, what you said is not true right? you're still my daughter." A woman stood beside him. He felt that Viola's words made no sense. His daughter is alive.

"Sit down, I won't say it twice."

"Either you believe it or not." Viola turned his head, he looked at Baroness Lilliana with eyes that started to turn red. It seemed like the woman in front of him was on the verge of believing and disbelief.

"Don't say anything, Viola is still alive. If you're not Viola, then who are you?" Duke Arland headed towards him with Ferland who was beside him. The two men were in disbelief, as if they were storytelling. When they see it in their eyes, they are beset with guilt and reject the truth.

"I'm not the real Viola." Viola got up he turned to the origin of the voice that stopped stepping for a moment.

"I'm Alana, I'm from a different world. I don't know if I can't explain it. Maybe you'll think I'm crazy or whatever." Viola stepped towards the window, he stared at the snowflakes.

"I died at the hands of my beloved. I foolishly believe in love. You are certainly aware of my changing attitude and nature. Have you ever read a novel that you think is exactly my story."

"No stranger to the novel entitled 'The Queen' there tells of a girl who died at the hands of her lover and the soul was stranded to a foreign land." He recalled the first time he slept in Viola's room, the owner of his original body had a reading hobby and read a novel that was exactly the same as his current self. He only read a glance and did not intend to continue.

"The novel is true and has become real."

"No way, it's just a novel and it doesn't come true. It's just an imaginary world."

"Right now it's fantasy, but it's real and I don't know how you see the real Viola. I'm telling you honestly, it's up to you to accept it or not. Clearly, I don't expect your affection the way you love Viola. I don't think I'd be happy with a lie. Once again I tell you the truth, tomorrow I will return to my restaurant." Viola said leaving everyone behind.

"Duke Cristin, I hope you have no regrets. Before Viola left you didn't say your feelings. And as for Duke Arland, you will regret your entire life. Because you were the one who made him die. Apologize to Viola sincerely, I'm sure he'll calm down there.

"No way." Duke Cristin approached Viola. She clasped Viola's hands together until their gazes met. "You're my Viola, you'll still be Viola."

"Don't force me to be your Viola. I differ in my attitude and my nature. If you regret it, bow down in the painting. Apologize sincerely."

Duke Cristin let go of both his hands, "No way." He laughed as if crying for his life. "No way, my Viola is alive."

Viola felt pity to see the fragility of Duke Cristin who did not accept the statement. The man also passed away. He ran outside the Baroness's residence to make up for the snowfall.

While Baroness Lilliana, she immediately ran upstairs and closed the door hard, then locked it tightly. Crying behind that door.

The two men, sitting limp on the floor. Ferland eased his face towards Viola. Then he hugged the father who was beside him.

And now he doesn't know what to do? the choice now is to go back to the restaurant.
