The Extraordinary Duda
Dayana's Regret

Despite working as a servant with a crumb job, Amber did not want to be underestimated by anyone and was humbled by anyone including the mother of her own employer.

For Amber, working as a caregiver is not worth treating. Because basically not only Amber who needs money for her life, but they also need Amber's energy to take care of Aara. So, Amber has always considered all work equally important. Because between workers and employers alike need.

At the dinner table, Dayana's blood almost boiled at the response of her granddaughter's nanny. How dare a nanny refuse orders? Dayana does not think, what Aara likes from the type of caregiver does not know themselves like that.

"Arion! Do you really hire people who don't have manners like him?" ask Dayana to her son.

"Ma, isn't Miss Amber right? Here she works as Aara's nanny, not Mama's servant" replied Arion calmly. He understands the mother's anger, but he still does not want to defend who is wrong.

"Ario!" exciting Dayana. He almost slammed the plate.

Arion only let out a long sigh looking at Dayana's attitude that had never changed at all. The man held up one hand and soon a servant approached.

"Make my mama a warm squeeze orange, please hurry!" arion's orders.

Instead of the commotion continuing, Arion immediately asks Aara and Amber to start their dinner. No matter how fiery Dayana was near them, Arion and Amber tried to calm down.

Every time she saw Amber and Aara together, Arion quietly observed the woman. Observe how Amber takes care of Aara, persuades her to eat, and how to communicate so they can understand each other.

With Amber's firm but meek attitude, Aara is now more easily directed. If all this time Aara always asked for something suddenly and had to be granted, then now the habit began to decrease.

Changes in Aara's attitude and nature make Arion more convinced, that the way Amber parenting has a big influence on her daughter's personality.

After dinner, Arion takes Aara into his room. While Amber, she decided to go to the kitchen to make warm milk.

Unexpectedly, Dayana's frustration was still not extinguished either. The middle-aged woman followed Amber into the kitchen and pulled the rough arm of Amber until she grimaced in pain.

"Sorry, Madam. Master defended me because I was innocent."

"Listen, yes, Amber. If you can't honor me as the big lady of this house, I'll get you fired!" threaten Dayana's.

"Please, Mistress. Fired or not, it's Mr. Maverick and Aara's right. I only obey the person who pays me and his name is listed in the employment contract I have signed," Amber replied calmly. Not to forget, a smile as sweet as honey he gave before leaving Dayana.

As Dayana grew more inflamed, several servants, including Aunt Marry, were surprised by Amber's courage in the face of Dayana. Because, everyone in this house already understood that the middle-aged woman was difficult to accept the presence of new people and was too busy meddling in her son's affairs compared to taking care of herself.

Walking quietly without any burden, Amber climbed the stairs to Aara's room. The woman finds Arion still there to accompany her little girl.

"The warm milk is ready" Amber said with a smile. Aara was happy, she was very excited and received a glass of warm milk from her nanny.

"Other times you just have to sit in the room and wait for the waiter to deliver Aara's milk, Miss Amber. Don't bother yourself too much" said Arion.

"It's okay, I don't mind" replied Amber.

"Hmm, for my Mama's matter, forgive her attitude. I will try to give her understanding" said Arion. Amber nodded and smiled.

"Can we talk later? There are important things I want to say" said Amber.

"certain. After Aara sleeps, meet me in my study."
