Thank You

Claire doesn't mind Arion getting into a relationship or finding a mother for their daughter, Aara. However, Claire only wants her daughter to get the full affection of the woman who will be the mother.

"I love Aara, Miss. I promise to take good care of her. But your prejudice about me and Mr. Maverick is wrong. We have no relationship whatsoever" explained Amber.

Although the woman is aware that she and Arion are close, it cannot be said that they have a relationship. Because both of them just want each other in different things.

"But Arion seems to like you" Claire murmured.

"How can you be so sure, miss?"

"I was his wife for five years. Although there was no sense between us, I could understand his nature. Arion obviously doesn't like strangers being too close to her, what's more eating with a nanny at the same table. Obviously that's not her nature" Claire explained.

"People can change, Miss." Amber denied.

Claire smiled as she shook her head slowly. "Hopefully," he said.

A few minutes later, the car had reached the front yard of Arion's residence.

Claire hands Aara from her lap into Amber's arms.

"Didn't you want to stop by?" ask Amber.

"No, it's late at night" Claire refused.

"Hmm, okay." Amber nodded, standing up and observing until the car Claire was riding in disappeared behind the iron gate.

Carefully, Amber carried Aara into the house. The atmosphere of the house is very quiet, the main lights have been extinguished replaced by a dim light from small decorative lights.

Amber climbed the stairs with Aara in her arms. The little girl was still asleep.

As she opened the door to Aara's room, Arion's office door opened.

"You're home yet?" ask Arion. He walked closer. The man took Aara from Amber's sling.

"I'm sorry if we come home late. Aara was reluctant to part with Miss Claire," Amber replied.

"So, did you manage to bring Aara and Claire together?" arion asked after putting a blanket over Aara's body.

"Hm." Amber nodded. "Aara barely wants to go home."

"Then?" Arion scrunched his forehead.

"Miss Claire promised she'd try to see Aara every weekend."

"Omong empty!" muttered Arion slowly.

"Miss Claire's mother. She must be trying to do what's best for her son" Amber said. He smiled slightly at Arion.

Arion seemed to take a long breath. He is quite surprised because Amber managed to bring Aara to meet Claire, while Dayana, has repeatedly failed to bring Aara to meet her mother.

"I have to go home, tomorrow morning I will come as usual" said Amber.

"Would you come by for a drink with me?" tawar Arion's.

Amber was silent for a moment. "No, I have to go home" he refused.

Arion looked at Amber, watching the woman closely.

"Don't look at me, you're making me uncomfortable" Amber said as she walked away from Arion. He was really sultry whenever the sharp brownish eyes of the man started to notice him with a strange look.

"All right, I'll drive you!" exciting Arion. He walked after Amber.

"No! Not necessary. There's a driver driving me."

"As a thank you for pleasing my daughter today, I'll drive you myself" Arion said. He did not care about the woman who was protesting against him.
