Caroline's Proud Attitude

Amber is well aware of her position in this house as Aara's nanny. Although her job was a petty job and the equivalent of a waitress, Amber actually kept her pride from the scorn of the likes of Caroline or Dayana.

Amber just smiled, she let Arion up the stairs with a little run. Meanwhile, Caroline secretly listens to their conversation and watches over Amber.

Amber resumed her steps towards the kitchen, while Arion rushed to the office to attend an important meeting.

In the kitchen, Amber sat on a chair while enjoying a glass of fresh orange juice. He also chatted with several servants who had finished their work and rested for a while.

"Ah, so this is your job. As if gossiping when your master left?" caroline asked suddenly. The woman really made the atmosphere become chaotic and irritating.

The two maids, who were originally sitting with Amber, stood and bowed their heads in front of Caroline.

"You!" Caroline pointed her index finger in front of Amber. His eyes narrowed, the annoyance increasingly spread to the crowns.

"How dare you argue with me. Don't you know who I am?" caroline asked fiercely.

"I know." Amber answered calmly.

"Basic women don't know themselves! I'll stir your attitude to Brother! I'll get you fired!" caroline exclaimed as she stomped her feet to the floor. The woman rushed to leave the kitchen and Arion's house. Apparently, he will complain about Amber's treatment on Dayana.

While in the kitchen, Amber did not care. As long as he does nothing wrong, he is never afraid, even if Arion fires him, Amber is not worried.

"Amber, yesterday you made the big lady angry, now you're making Miss Caroline angry. What if Miss Caroline turns us on to Mr. Arion?" ask one of the servants.

"What are you afraid of if you are innocent? Even if you're just a waiter, don't want to be treated at will. You have the right to defend yourself. After all, you guys have already finished the work and just rested for a while. What harm?"

"It's okay. If Mr. Maverick is angry, I will take responsibility. I made Miss Caroline angry" said Amber.

The two servants calmed down. All this time they were always obedient and subject to all the commands of Caroline or Dayana. Because they are aware, the two women are important people in Arion's life. They didn't even care if Caroline or Dayana were being bad and acting arbitrarily. They are submissive for the sake of living safe and secure.

"By the way, did Miss Caroline and Miss Dayana also behave badly to Miss Claire? Mr Maverick's ex-wife?" ask Amber curiously. These two servants in front of him had already worked for Arion for many years. They must know what's going on in this house.
