The Extraordinary Duda
Requesting Her Darin Permit

After returning from the mall, Arion invites Amber and Aara to stop by a five-star restaurant. They enjoyed lunch together.

Although Amber insists on rejecting Arion's invitation, the man still forces her.

For Amber, it feels very strange if she, who is just a nanny, can eat at a five-star restaurant with her employer and sit with them. Whoever's looking, definitely wouldn't have thought that Amber was just a nanny for Arion's daughter.

"More, may I take Aara away?" amber asked Arion between their meals.

"Where?"

"I'll take her to meet Miss Claire. Are you gonna let him?"

For a moment, Arion fell silent. He continued eating while thinking.

"Are you sure he'll see you? I'm tired of hearing the woman's reason for continuing to renege on her promise" Arion said.

"I made sure he could see Aara. Don't worry." Amber assured.

"Don't give too much hope to Aara. You know she's been disappointed in her own mother too often."

"I know." Amber nodded in understanding. He clearly understood what Arion was feeling.

...****************...

In the afternoon, Amber and Aara were ready. They search for Arion's whereabouts for permission, but the man is never found.

"Where is Mister?" amber asked one of the servants.

"Master's in his study."

Amber takes Aara to Arion's study, knocks on the door once and enters when the door opens.

"We're leaving" said Amber.

"Now?" Arion scrunched his forehead.

Arion approached Amber, then sat crouched down in front of Aara.

"Aara sure she's going?" arion asked his daughter.

"Aara wants to see Mommy" replied Aara.

"Alright, don't be naughty, yeah!" Arion smiled as he poked his daughter's nose. He hugged Aara. Anxious feelings rippled through her mind, thinking that Claire would eventually return to incite disappointment in her daughter's heart.

"Hm." Aara nodded.

"Can Daddy talk to Mama Amber first? Aara wait in the car, yeah," Arion's pinta.

Aara said, the little girl smiled and kissed Arion's cheek. He runs out of Arion's study and leaves his father with Amber.

"What's wrong? I have to leave immediately" Amber protested.

"If Claire reneges on her promise, who do I have to hold her accountable to?" ask Arion. He didn't care about the protests Amber was protesting. "Not once or twice did she suddenly disappear while Aara was already waiting for her."

"Trust me" said Amber. He himself could not promise Claire to meet Aara, but he could not let the child and mother miss each other.

Arion stepped forward, making Amber gradually retreat slowly. The man drew closer, squeezing Amber's body between the doors.

"I get angry every time I see my daughter disappointed. If Claire comes back to disappoint Aara this time, then I'll be mad at you for believing her, too" Arion said.

Amber gulped, she could not digest Arion's words. Moreover, their bodies were now stuck to no distance, and Amber could feel the heat of Arion's breath near her ears.

"Hm." Amber just nodded.

Arion held up Amber's chin with one hand. The man looked Amber in the eye with a sharp look.

"I like you, Amber. I like everything about you. But if you were to take part in hurting my daughter's heart and upset her, then I could have hated you right then and there."
