The Extraordinary Duda
About the Sweetheart

An unexpected thing came out of the little girl's mouth. Arion and Amber did not expect, both of them were silent while looking at Aara full of curiosity.

"Really, right, Mama?" Aara throws a question at Amber. The woman awoke from her daydream and rounded her wide eyes.

"Huh? What, Honey?" Amber asked back.

"Mature men and ...."

"Ah, that. No, Honey. It's not that easy" said Amber cut Aara's words that are not over. Amber refused to hear the phrase twice.

Arion was silent, observing the interaction between his daughter and the woman who had captured his heart.

Amber lifts Aara up on her lap. The woman tried to explain simply that loving each other and getting married was not a necessity. There are limits in every relationship that cannot be explained with just one word.

"Later, if Aara was older, Aara would know. Now, most importantly Mama Amber loves Aara, Daddy loves Aara too, Mommy loves Aara. All dear Aara," said Amber.

"Hm." Aara nodded in agreement. "Did Mama Amber love Daddy too?" tanyanya.

Hearing that, Amber took a deep breath, then swallowed her own saliva.

"Oh my God." The woman complained, eager to pull the little girl's lips on her lap to stop asking this very sensitive question.

"Of course, honey. Mama Amber loves Daddy," replied Amber. Her lips worked hard to make her smile.

Amber glanced at the male figure nearby. The man who was secretly smacking a smile while pretending to play his phone.

In silence, Arion was happy. Whether it was honesty or just a sentence was meaningless, but Arion was delighted.

While Aara, the child was also very happy. He knows that Arion loves Amber, and Amber does the opposite.

"Aara's happy?" ask Amber.

"Hm." Aara nodded. "So, Aara doesn't have to be afraid of losing Mama Amber" he continued.

Instantly, Arion's happy face turned sad as well as worried. Why could Aara think that? Is that as scared as Aara lost Amber to have thought of something like this?

Aara jumped from Amber's lap and jumped in excitement. The little girl clapped her hands cheerfully, then hugged Amber.

Arion felt sick. Amber has filled most of Aara's heart with her affection and love. But in fact they are only a nanny and a child who is cared for. What if the thing that Aara was afraid of happened? Arion didn't even want to imagine it.

"Aara wants a doughnut!" exciting Aara.

"Ah, yes. Daddy almost forgot, honey. You can grab it in the kitchen, the doughnuts just arrived. Ask Auntie" said Arion. Their chat made him forget to tell her that the doughnut he ordered had been delivered by a food courier.

"Let Mama take it," interrupted Amber.

"no need. Miss Amber. Aara can," said Arion. He didn't want Aara to be too united. He had to learn to be independent little by little.

Aara did not mind. With a bit of running, he leaves Arion and Amber alone.

After Aara's death, Amber and Arion shut up. Amber enjoys her glass of juice, while Arion pretends to be busy staring at her phone screen.

Suddenly, the two acted as if they wanted to talk simultaneously, until they became misbehaved.

"Is there anything you want to say?" ask Arion.

"Is there anything you want to say?" ask Amber. The two asked simultaneously like a choir.

"You first" said Arion.

"No, just you," declined Amber.

"All right." Arion nodded. "I just wanted to say if I never taught Aara to say things like that. Please don't misunderstand me," he explained.

Amber biting lips.

"I want to say the same thing. I never taught Aara to ask questions about that kind of thing" explained Amber.
