The Extraordinary Duda
If You Like It

Amber, Aara and Claire spent quite a long time. Claire even takes Aara and Amber around the agency office and meets some of Claire's friends.

Aara was very happy, she enjoyed her precious time with her mother and continued to hold the hand of the woman who had given birth to her.

Not only touring the agency's offices, Claire also takes Aara and Amber to dinner together at a restaurant located near the office. Claire did not miss the slightest chance to please her little daughter, Claire even asked the secretary to go buy a lot of gifts in the form of clothes and reading books.

"Darling, Aara. It's late, you have to go home and rest" Claire said.

Time has shown at nine o'clock in the evening, and the woman is worried that Arion will be angry because Aara will not come home.

"But, Mommy," complained Aara. A few hours felt like a few seconds to the little girl. He still wants to be with his mother.

"Daddy must be worried and waiting for you to come home, honey. Next time, we'll see each other again" Claire persuaded.

"Aara wants to come with Mommy!" reject Aara. He whines.

"Dear, don't be like that. Tonight we go home first, later if there's time, Mama Amber will take Aara to meet Mommy again." Amber persuaded her foster children.

Aara's face looked sad, tears began to pool in her eyes.

"Aara," muttered Claire fretfully. The woman clutched her daughter and kissed Aara's face many times.

"Don't be sad, honey. Mommy will try to get us to meet every weekend" Claire said.

"Mommy promise?" asked Aara with teary eyes.

"Mommy will try, honey."

Aara nodded, hugging Claire tightly back.

"Can I drive you?" ask Claire to Amber.

"Of course, Miss." Amber nodded.

Now, Amber and Aara board a car driven by Claire's secretary. Aara even fell asleep on her mother's lap. While the car and driver who drove Amber and Aara this afternoon, walked slowly following them.

"Amber, if I call you to ask you to drop Aara off, make sure Arion doesn't tell her mom" Claire said on the way.

"Well, I get it, Miss."

"If I can do it, I'll help" Amber replied.

"I've asked Arion several times for permission to take Aara to stay with me for a few days, but her mother forbade. I've been trying, but anyway, Arion's obedient to his mother. Can you help me persuade Arion?" ask Claire.

"Miss, that's beyond my limits. I'm not that close to Mr. Maverick to persuade him as you wish" Amber said. How could he dare. Moreover, Arion often changes his attitude towards her.

"Help me, Amber. I beg you," Claire asked.

"But, Miss ...."

"This time."

"Hmm, okay. I'll try it" replied Amber resignedly.

Claire smiled, she grabbed Amber's hand and held it for a moment to thank her.

"I wish we could spend a few days together. I'll clear all my schedule next month when Aara's off school" Claire says.

"Okay, but I can't promise you anything, miss. You know what Mr. Maverick is like."

"Yes, I get it. Moreover, there was always her mother's interference in Arion's every decision."

Amber nodded her head slowly. He really understood Claire's feelings.

"Amber, are you interested in Arion? Someone told me you were close. Arion even invited you to eat together at one table while in the mall with Aara," Claire said.

"Our relationship is limited to employers and caregivers."

"really? But it's not what it looks like. Arion treats you very well. It's obvious that Arion doesn't like strangers being too close to him."

"If you like Arion, and Arion does the opposite. Then I only want one thing, love Aara like you love her father. Accept Aara in your heart as you accept her father."

"Make sure you don't have the same fate as me" Claire said. The woman smiled slightly as she rubbed the head of the little girl who had been soundly in her lap.
