Final Decision

Arion took a deep breath before walking up to his mother. He already knew if this would happen, so before that, Arion had already prepared himself with all the consequences he would get.

One hard slap landed on Arion's left cheek. The man remained calm, he closed for a moment before staring clearly at his mother's wrathful face.

"Are you crazy? Huh uh?" ask Dayana.

"Ma, can we talk about everything with a cool head?" Arion asked back. He stays calm. Dayana is her mother.

"Cold head you say? How can Mama talk about this with a cold head if you act like it!" the fiery Dayana.

"Didn't I tell Mama before if I wanted to have a serious relationship with Amber?"

"Arion! Why must it be that woman, Arion! Why should women not know that manners!" dayana Benthic. While Caroline, stood resentfully beside her mother while looking at Arion full of hatred.

"Mama! She's a good woman. Amber is not what you think! Never say anything bad about it!"

Dayana was breathing fast, her chest going up and down holding back the turbulent anger in her heart.

"Aren't there any better women? What did he do to make you go crazy like this?"

"He gave me something no other woman could give me!" arion replied firmly.

"Whatis that? her virginity? Aren't you able to get that easily from any woman?" dayana's argument is getting upset.

"No, he gave her the sincerity of his heart. He gave it to me and Aara. So I beg you, Mama. Stop here, stop wasting energy and time meddling in my affairs. I'm an adult, I know what's good for me" Arion told his mother.

"You're really going to choose a woman whose origins aren't clear than your own Mama?" dayana asked while narrowing her eyes. He was sure Arion would falter if he continued to bully him.

"Why should you choose? My mother is my mother, and she is my future wife. You're just as valuable to me."

"Mama." Arion's tone of voice weakened.

"If you continue to insist on marrying that woman, then from today Mama is no longer your Mama" Dayana said.

"Mama!" caroline next to her mother.

"Is that your decision? Putting ego ahead of my happiness? Why, Ma? Is it because Amber doesn't come from a rich and distinguished family like Mama's dream daughter-in-law? Is it because of that? Isn't what's important right now is my happiness and that of Aara, Mama's granddaughter?"

"Arion! Wanna put where Mama's face gets a daughter-in-law like her? He'll only ruin your reputation!"

"He was my best choice! No matter how hard Mama opposes it, I'll vote for her."

Dayana took a long breath. How can Arion now be the son of a dissident and disobedient like this? Though Arion always obeyed his words and never once ignored his advice. But since the presence of Amber, Dayana can feel the change in attitude and nature of her firstborn.

"Good, fine. You chose? So from now on you're no longer Mama's child!" exciting Dayana.

Caroline gave a rough breath, she rushed after her mother into the car and left the Arion residence. The two women are filled with anger and hatred for Amber, the woman who made Arion change completely.
