Chapters 2. The Fire Dragon King

Chapter 2

The stone statue is thought to be a sculpture of art by Rico. Now it turned into a living creature that stood spread out its two wide wings. Screeching a loud sound even made the cave tremble.

"Dragon?" murmured Rico with eyes that were still not separated from the creature in front of him.

"Who are you?" The dragon could speak and made Rico come back surprised.

The young man was still stunned and did not answer the dragon's question. He was still digesting whether he was currently sleeping and was dreaming. Or is it true that there are such creatures in his world today.

"Me, Rico Dominic. Then, who are you?" ask the young man. 

Maybe it has become a habit if asked the name, then we will ask his name back. Something like that is happening to Rico at the moment. Although in his heart he now cursed his folly of asking the name of an animal.

"I'm Marcin, the king of the fire-ruling dragons," the creature replied and left Rico stunned because the animal had a name.

"What is this world really? Why are there dragons?" rico asked still looking at the giant creature who was now lowering his head and getting closer to him.

"You, not the man of this world? Where you look so different. It's worth it to free me from the magic spell" said Marcin, who looked at Rico from toe to toe.

"Yes, I'm a human being of planet earth. I don't know why I got stranded in this world" Rico replies.

Then, Marcin also explained the world where now is the land of Eleanor. In that world a magic power that would make people able to survive and become rulers. The greater the mana possessed and the stronger the magic. Then that person will be able to become the ruler and rule the world as he wishes.

"You're magic, what's it like to cast spells?" ask Rico curiously.

"Yes, like the spell you said to set me free" replied Marcin.

'What? When did I cast a spell? I just read the writing on the rock. Then, all of a sudden his statue changed lives.' (Players)

Marcin stared strangely at Rico. Because the young man was silent.

"Don't tell me you can't cast magic spells?" Marcin made a loud noise and made the cave tremble again.

"of course. How do I know about spells, in my world there is nothing like it" Rico replied.

"Well, I'll teach you some spells you can use to survive in this world" Marcin said.

Marcin taught the lower level spells first. Because, magic spells can affect the body of the user. 

"Right now I'm teaching you a low-level spell. Once you can master this well, then I will teach you even more powerful spells of his level" Marcin said.

Rico did not believe that now in his hand could bring out power and magic symbols appeared. Even though he did not understand, why he could become like this.

"You don't call me often. Because it will require a lot of mana and it can make you die if you run out of mana" continued Marcin.

"Then, who should I call when I'm desperate or when I'm losing and dying?" rico asked remembering the incident earlier when he was chased by the villagers.

"You must find the fire sword that is on Mount Mugen and use it as a weapon. You can look for holy animals who are always faithful to accompany you. If you are lucky, many holy animals are willing to serve their master to death" replied the dragon.

The next day Rico was dressed as the inhabitants of Eleanor, thanks to Marcin's magic spell. Now he had to search for the existence of the fire sword. He ate fruits that grew a lot in the forest to connect his life. 

When he arrived at the new village, there was a battle. A woman fights some men in uniform like soldiers. There are a lot of strange animals there.

'What is such a form of saint beast?' (Players)

"Groan!" the long-spirited woman shouted at a lion-shaped animal.

His opponent did not want to lose and ordered his holy animals to strike back. There was a battle between the holy animals. 

Rico saw it. However, when the situation of the woman began to be desperate, somehow she even helped.

"Blaz!" rico shouted with his hands pointed forward and produced protective magic, so as to dispel the attacks from some people in warrior uniforms.

'Oh, I hope what I helped is the right person, not the villain.' (Players)

The woman who was now sitting on the ground was very surprised, because there were foreigners who protected her.

"Thank you" said the woman.

"I'm Kelly Grazian. Then, they were the royal soldiers led by Didio. The cruel king who rules the land of Eleanor today" the woman replied.

"Me, Rico. Looking for a sword in the Mugen Mountains. I will petrify you, if you can also help me back," Rico said.

'The sword on Mugen Mountain is not the Sword of Fire, is it?' (Kelly)

"Well, I'll take you to Mugen Mountain, if we win this fight" Kelly said.

The fight this time was a bit of a draw, as Rico continued to attack those soldiers with magic power continuously. Very rarely done by ordinary people. Only magic witches could perform attacks with magic spells continuously.

Meanwhile, Kelly and her sacred animal gave a melee attack. It only took about 15 minutes, all the soldiers were dead.

"Hey, is it okay for you to kill them?" ask Rico.

"It's okay. It's only natural that we fight until one of the parties dies" Kelly replied.

Rico and Kelly head to the Mugen Mountains. They climbed a barren mountain and felt very hot. The tree that grows there is only a type of cactus if in the world of Rico. The animals can also survive in hot temperatures.

"The sword you're looking for is a sword of fire, right?" kelly asked as he walked up the large rocks.

"Yes. Is that sword so famous?" ask Rico.

Kelly felt strange to Rico, because everyone who lived in Eleanor land knew about the fire sword that was on this Mugen mountain. It's just that no one can take it. Even the king of Didio himself who had great power could not take it.

"So, is it true that the sword you are looking for is a sword of fire?" screech Kelly who stopped her footsteps. Then, he looked at Rico.

'Is this the man in the prophecy, huh?' (Kelly)

"Yes. Marcin told me to find a sword of fire and serve as a weapon," said Rico without realizing that his words made Kelly again surprised.

'Marcin, the Fire Dragon King?' (Kelly)

After a day of travel, they finally reached the top of Mount Mugen. Kelly pointed towards the middle of the crater, there was a towering rock. There was a sword stuck there.

"How do we get there?" ask Rico.

"Use your strength" Kelly replied.

"Marcin, pops!" call Rico and in an instant a huge dragon appeared above the twilight sky.

"What did you call me?" ask the dragon.

"Take me there!" tell Rico while pointing to the center of the crater.

'That's ... Marcin's form?' (Kelly gaping in disbelief)

"So, you haven't found a holy animal yet, and told me to go there!" Marcin's voice held until Kelly fell so shocked.

Rico laughed and nodded his head. Marcin inevitably had to obey his master's orders. The young man climbed onto the dragon's back and headed towards the center of the crater.

"O owner of the great power. Follow orders from your new master."

Rico cast a spell while holding the sword and pulled it. Slowly the sword of fire could be plucked from within the stone. However, once successfully pulled the stone was instantly shattered instantly.

Rico who was standing on it immediately fell down. He shouted loudly and called for Marcin. Fortunately at the right time the dragon managed to save its master.

'Of all the people who have been my master, Rico is the dumbest.' (Marcin)

Finally, Rico managed to have a fire sword. Now, he had to learn to use that sword. Kelly was willing to help him so that the young man could use his weapon.

After hearing the lives of the people of Eleanor who live in the oppression and cruelty of the ruler, Rico will help Kelly to defeat King Didio. So from that morning the two went to the capital of Eleanor, where King Didio was now.
