Chapter 8

Kelly ordered his two holy creatures to attack the garuda. Even though his feet were bound by chains, the creature could still attack Inu and Neko by using both of its wide wings. It even made Kelly, Rico, and Miron bounce far away and hit the cave wall. They were all injured with just one flap of their wings.

"It's so powerful, this thing" Rico murmured as he woke up after his body floated up and hit the ceiling of the cave.

"How can I defeat this sacred animal?" kelly asked while standing up and holding his chest because he had hit a rock on the cave wall.

"There must be a weakness of that creature" replied Miron who had stood up a moment before.

Rico and Miron help Kelly conquer the sacred animal. The young man had no saint except for Marcin, so he attacked with only his sword.

"Attacks!" Rico attacked the bird with fire generated from his spell and sword.

However, this is even used by the garuda bird by flapping its wings. Of course this made the fire grow bigger and turned towards them. 

"Why did the fire attack us?" Rico falls and tries to protect himself. Fortunately Miron made a protective spell for the three of them, so it was protected from that huge fire. Even Kelly was also in a position ready to strike back, made in shock by the attack earlier.

The sound of screeches re-echoed in the room and made the ground on the roof fall.

"It could be destroyed this cave later" said Rico who saw how strong and powerful the sacred animal was.

Kelly thought about how to defeat the creature. Besides the mana in his body is getting less and less. The long battle time would also make them exhausted.

"Come, what thoughts can be the weakness of a bird," Kelly murmured while thinking hard.

"If only I could do magic that brings down heavy rain, I would make the bird bathe in rain water" Rico said.

'Rain?' (Kelly)

Kelly heard the words of his friend and became his solution to give the next attack. He smiled and began chanting the mantra of summoning the saint beast.

A giant turtle appeared in front of them. Rico stared in amazement at the animal. In his mind he wished to have such a holy animal. The young man thought that the sacred animal would turn into a ninja mutant like the one in the stories he often watched on television.

"Great," said Rico still looking at the turtle who is now spitting water on the bird.

Kelly ordered the sacred animal to attack the garuda by spraying as much water as possible. The tortoise continued to pour out an enormous amount of water and made the giant bird limp as its head and body continued to be attacked with water.

Miron also helped by reciting a mantra that could bring up giant clouds and bring down rain and lightning that struck the bird endlessly.

It has been almost 11 minutes the bird continues to be pounded by the flood from the mouth of a turtle that challenges from the bottom. Already seen the garuda bird began to fall silent.

"We finally did it!" yelled the three of them happy.

"Kelly, cast a spell once more!" miron's Order.

Kelly cast a spell and the iron chain on the right leg of the eagle was released. Now inevitably the holy animal must submit and obey him.

"Who's your name?" kelly asked the winged creature.

"Garuda" replied the animal.

"From now on you're my friend. So, have to get along with the other holy creatures, huh!" kelly said with a hopeful look.

Kelly has already managed to obtain a powerful new sacred creature and legend. Now they continue their journey again to the forest of Numa.
