Chapter 3. Meet Miron

Chapter 3

It's been a week that Rico and Kelly have started their journey. During that time they also learned to use swords and spells. Kelly often helped the young man to understand everything that was there. The woman already knew that Rico was a human from another world. He asked to hide it from others, because there would be many people who were after him. Rico's mana felt powerful and it could be felt by others. Then, must learn to hide his mana so that it is not detected by others, let alone the same enemy.

"Kelly, look at the village!" exclaim Rico while pointing towards the hillside.

"Finally, after one week I can see a human other than you" Kelly said with a full blown.

Hearing the travel companion's words made Rico snort angrily. Indeed, all this time he often heard Kelly scolding, because he felt lonely. He said he wanted to see a lot of people and joked with them. 

Rico is the type of person who does not like to talk much, especially to people he does not know. He prefers reading to talking.

They rushed down the hillside. Only noon the two arrived at the residential area. However, the situation there was very quiet. There are no signs of life.

"Is this a dead village? It's been abandoned by its inhabitants" asked Rico as he circulated his gaze.

Kelly was silent, he was feeling the mana belonging to the residents of the village there. She could feel a lot of mana in that place. However, somehow there is no activity of its citizens there. Even the fields are left alone. Even the cooked fruits are not harvested.

"It seems like something is going on here" Kelly whispered as she pulled Rico's hand away from the village.

"Are there any army of royal warriors who made the village like this?" ask Rico who is now walking side by side with Kelly.

"Yes, it seems so. In this village I can feel a lot of mana belonging to the villagers. However, there is no activity at all here" Kelly replied. 

Both are now on the river bank. When Rico was about to find food that could be eaten by them, there was someone lying on the ground near a shady tree. So the man approached and looked at his situation. 

Rico thought it was a corpse. Because there is no movement at all.

"Is this a corpse?" ask Rico in a standby position if this guy is pretending to be dead.

"What's wrong?" kelly shouted from a distance.

"There's a dead man!" shouted Rico.

Kelly ran there, and he saw someone lying on the ground on his face. Then, he turned the body around and checked his heartbeat as well as his pulse.

"He's alive" Kelly said, chanting a treatment spell.

Kelly's hand was placed over the man's body. He cast a healing spell. This woman has a strong mana, so that she can heal others.

That man's face that looked very pale like a corpse. It has now become fresher. How happy Kelly was when she saw the person she had helped slowly opened her eyes.

"Hi, you're up!" Kelly patted the man's face.

The man opened his eyes perfectly. He was happy to be alive.

"It turns out I'm not dead. Thank goodness!" he said with a smile.

Rico and Kelly stared at the man. They feel that the person they have helped is not a criminal. Because, this person continues to thank them.

"Thank you Miss, thank you, sir. Thanks to you I did not die of hunger" said the man who looked shabby.

"My name is Miron. It just so happened that I was wandering around and passed out from hunger for almost a week without eating" replied the big tall man timidly.

Miron told me that a lot of the villages he had visited were abandoned by the people. This is because the knights and people who always protect the village, died by the rulers of the region.

"We're looking for food first, you just stay there if you feel tired," Rico told Kelly, who took out too much of his mana while treating Miron earlier.

Kelly also fell asleep. It had already become a habit of which owners were not yet too adept at mastering high-level spells. Their mana is sometimes wasted, because they cannot control which one goes outside their body

Rico went down into the river, he used low-level magic power to catch fish. This is because very few fish live in the river.

Where the three of them provoked the presence of the person who became the ruler in the region. When the three were preparing a bonfire to burn the fish that was caught earlier. Suddenly, a holy creature arrived.

Feeling that there was a great power heading in that direction, made the three men alert. Let alone Kelly who is sensitive and can feel where a person even a little.

"There's a great power coming here!" cry Kelly.

"Is he the owner of this sacred creature?" rico asked while looking at the great ape-shaped creature that was now standing before them.

The owner of the holy creature has now arrived before them by riding another holy creature in the form of a horse. The man with the roar's face stared intently at them.

"Who was that owner?" ask the man who will be known later named Aron.

The three people knew that he would target the mana owner, especially if that person had great strength. It will definitely be his target. Fortunately the three people were currently not letting out any mana. Even Aron himself could not sense where it was right now. Unlike earlier, there was a mana power scattered in this village. Hence, he immediately rushed over to search for that source of strength.

"Well, I will force you to take out the name you have!" shout Aron.

The two animals attack Rico, Kelly, and Miron. The creature casts magic spells to bring out its power.

"Rico, careful!" Kelly reminded her friend.

Rico immediately cast a protective spell to protect himself.

"Blaz!" rico shouted with both hands raised in front of him.

It turned out that the magic power of those creatures was extremely powerful and Rico could not resist the attack of the power from his opponent. He got bounced away as a result of being hit by enemy forces

"Rican!" kelly and Miron shouted at the same time.

"You won't have time to care about your friend's situation" Aron said and cast a magic spell that had great power and produced a powerful explosion and hit the three until they were helpless.

"You think you can beat me!" Aron laughed and spoke arrogantly.

"Well now's the time I'll suck up where you three belong" Aron said as he walked closer to Kelly.

The third situation is desperate. How will they fight Aron? Wait for it to go, yeah!
