Chapter 21 

When Rico and his friends came out of the city gate, it turned out there were many soldiers who confronted them. The holy animals were on alert to attack.

"Who are they?" rico asked his friends.

"They are the soldiers of Eleanor's kingdom," replied Kiril still watching the troops that were in front.

The Mirror and Kelly looked calm, though in their hearts they were currently terrified. Because there is one sacred animal that is most feared by witches.

"Who are you?" ask someone by shouting. The person on the horse who stands at the front.

"We are just travelers looking for money" Kiril replied with a loud shout.

But the man did not believe. Although no sacred animal accompanies it except for a small dog that is in the lap of a woman. This proved that the level of those people was above level 5.

The city was surrounded by a tall and sturdy fortification wall. However, there was not a single guard who was usually in the upper tower and stood guard in front of the gate. This made the man suspicious.

"It looks like we're not letting anyone out of the city at the moment" said the man in uniform who is thought to be a warlord.

Rico and his friends know that they won't get away with it easily from there right now. It seemed like they had to be prepared with the worst situation that would befall them.

"Don't let them get away!" shouted the man who was in the tower of the fortress.

"Mr Chow, they've already got Mayor Cho and Carlos dead!" yell at people again.

Rico and his friends have already been discovered, if they are the ones who have made a mess in Magas City, then they must prepare to fight the enemy who marches before them.

The man on the horse was Chow, a warlord of Eleanor's kingdom and who guarded the east. The man who used a spear as his weapon was now smiling slanting towards the four people who were in front of the gate.

"It looks like I can't get you through any more than this" Chow said, then all the sacred animals belonging to the soldiers attacked Rico and his comrades.

Rico immediately predicted the spell that turned the Kouga into a sacred animal, not a legendary sacred animal. As well as the other three friends, they immediately summoned their respective holy animals.

In the vast and arid field there was a battle between the sacred animals belonging to the soldiers of the Eleanor Kingdom with the sacred animals belonging to Rico and his friends.

A wide variety of magic elements adorned the land of the plains. The elements of water, fire, wind, lightning, and earth, clashed against each other between the saint beasts.

Chow's saint beast is an octopus that has a lot of tentacles that can absorb all magic power. the magic attacks aimed at the Chow warlord could definitely be halted by absorbing that power. As of this moment, Rico threw a fireball at the man, but one of the tentacles from the Octopus managed to hold it back and absorb it.

The Chow warlord laughed out loud as he looked at the shocked facial expression of Rico. Then, he returned the attack to the young man who was still standing in front of him.

"Rico, lookout!" yelled at his three friends at the same time.
