Chapter 45

"We heard that there's a rebel group here!" shouted one of the soldiers.

The people in the restaurant were suddenly silent. They all hoped that the person the soldiers were referring to was not here.

"Open all your head coverings!" orders of the man who turned his body big.

Everyone wearing a head covering immediately opened it. The soldiers held up the posters and checked one by one. They were very meticulous even similar ones would be carried outside for interrogation.

"Calm down. Don't look tense or stiff. It will be suspicious in their eyes" Miron whispered.

Rico was actually a bit wary of suddenly having his face change because he couldn't control his mana. Fortunately Kelly, give encouragement because they both are among the people who are fighting for Eleanor's country.

"Give me your face!" tell the soldiers standing next to their tables.

The five men immediately raised their heads and showed the few soldiers who were gathering around their table.

Feeling satisfied to check the faces of Rico and his friends, they went to leave except for a large-bodied man. She pulled Kelly by the hand and made all her friends surprised. 

"Mr Giovani, what's wrong?" A soldier came back and glanced at Kelly.

"Wait on! On what basis did you attract my wife?" said Aksel who was undercover.

"Oh, so she's your wife! Beautiful too, but she has committed unlawful acts here so she must accept sanctions" Giovani said.

"Which legal customers?" ask Aksel who is now standing up to challenge the big man.

"She used a magic symbol on the necklace she was wearing," Giovani replied with a slanted smile condescendingly towards Aksel.

'Since when did the magic symbol become a lawlessness?' (Axcell)

"Sorry, Sir. Looks like you misrecognized this image with a magic symbol. Try to check back this is a painting of her husband's face," Miron concluded while holding Kelly's pendant and turning it to use magic power.

Kelly's tears immediately glide when she sees Giovani treating a beloved object like garbage. The axle quickly picks it up and cleans it. Then, she put the necklace back on her lover's neck.

"You, you have to be able to control yourself. Do not let the change of face fail. Hold it, I'll repay her treatment." Axel hugged Kelly and hid his face in the chest.

"Take him to the room. His real face was already beginning to be seen," Kiril whispered.

After the incident this morning made Aksel really want to destroy the ruler in this Metropolis city. He did not accept arbitrary treatment from the soldiers and their leaders.

The first thing Aksel did was to release the saint beasts that were restrained by the gemstone magic necklace. Axel, Miron, and Rico infiltrate a building that holds sacred animals they often employ.

The sacred animals that had been released from the gemstone magic necklace, one by one out of the cage, then Kelly and Kiril will escort them to get out of the city by using the sacred animal Hilda owned by Miron. Hilda could take them to the sacred forest where the saint beasts could live freely.

"Have all the animals been released?" ask Kelly.

"To be here already. There are still about nineteen more places that have not been cleared," replied Aksel.

"Then this is how it will take a lot of time. What if we split the two teams?" kiril gave me an idea.

Finally, they split the two groups. The first group consisted of Rico and Miron. Then, the second group consisted of Axel, Kelly, and Kiril. They work together and do it all quickly. All are hunted by time as the day approaches the morning.

"There are five more places. I can't take it anymore" said Kelly with my pretty eyes.

"You go back to the inn and rest. Kiril and I will take care of the rest" Aksel said. Even though he himself had also felt extreme fatigue. However, if they could not free all the saint beasts today, it was afraid that the remaining saint beasts would suffer torture from the heartless rulers.
