Varo and Angela stared at each other in disbelief at what they had just heard. For Varo, Salwa is a good girl, there is no way she could just get pregnant like a woman who has no faith. Even when talking to him Salwa never saw his face, how could Salwa be able to relate to men to such an extent?
"Doctor, have you really checked it out. Salwa is a fine and unmarried woman, how could there be a fetus in her womb?" Varo feels the doctor's analysis is wrong, he believes Salwa is not pregnant.
"Varo, if the doctor says I'm pregnant. Maybe it is so." Salwa looked down, confused as to what to say. His promise to Sean that his relationship should remain a secret, as long as Sean has not returned with him. It was all Sean did for the safety of Salwa and her family.
"What... You're lying, right?" varo said again, shaking Salwa's shoulder. Highlight his eyes looked straight looking for honesty from the eyes of the woman.
Salwa shook her head, she removed the grip of Varo's hand from her shoulder. He said, "Varo, I'm married."
Varo's mouth was open with widened eyes, he really did not believe, the woman he was after turned out to be someone else's. He had too late, but how could Salwa get married at such a young age, was he forced to marry because of his economy that was in decline?
"Who's your husband, say it?" ask Varo again. Varo believes that if Salwa's husband is an aged person, the woman must have been married forcibly. And Salwa was unhappy with her marriage.
Salwa shook her head again, she could not tell who her husband was. He could do nothing and break his promise. Especially when Sean is sick, he does not want to add new problems for her husband.
"Look at Varo, she doesn't know who her husband is. Hem, maybe he doesn't know who the father of the baby he's carrying. Cheap woman, are you not ashamed to give birth to an illegitimate child." Angela screeched and insulted Salwa with a thick mocking tone.
PLAAKS..
Salwa slapped Angela's cheek hard, until her palms became visible on Angela's delicate skin. Salwa wants to be apathetic, but she does not let others say the child she contains is an illegitimate child. His son is a holy child, he is not an unwanted baby, the fetus he contains is a gift from God that is highly anticipated by Sean and also himself.
"How dare you be a cheap woman" Angela wanted to reply, but Salwa's bodyguard swiftly grabbed Angela's arm so that she could not swing her palms to Salwa's cheeks. The doctor who had been silent had also broke their dispute.
"Already, don't fuss here. You can continue outside the clinic" the doctor told them all to get out of the room.
"Now say, who married you, who's the man who impregnated you?" varo said when he was outside the clinic.
But again Salwa shook her head, she refused to open her voice making Varo very disappointed.
"You don't need to know, Varo. You know enough that I'm married, and this is the result of our marriage." Salwa wanted to leave the place immediately, but Varo's voice stopped her steps.
"Salwa, I'm disappointed in you. You can't even keep your own honor as a woman. You desecrate your veil, you camouflage as a fine woman to get men interested in you. But actually you're just a cheap woman who covers your disgrace with your innocent pretentious face. I really hate you," after pouring all his frustration into Salwa, Varo left Salwa, followed by Angela who glanced cynically with a scornful look at Salwa.
Sean began to blink his eyes, adjusting the amount of light that entered the pupil and then gradually adjusted by itself. Within a few seconds he opened his eyes perfectly. He looked around him, only white things were visible to him. But there was one thing that caught his attention, someone who was waiting for him and at this time the person was asleep with his hands clasping his left hand.
"A.kaya." Sean's voice sounded soft and limp, but Sean's hand movements that fused with David's hand managed to wake the old man up.
"Sean. You're awake." David reviews the happy smile seeing his son already opened his eyes, he immediately turned to call the nurse who cared for Sean.
"Dad.., I wanted to drink." Sean's voice was still so weak, but David could still hear it. He immediately took a bottle of mineral water and gave it to Sean.
"I'll call the doctor to help you drink and check on you, wait a minute!"
"No need, I can drink it myself. Your son is not a spoiled child." Sean tried to sit up from his bed, although his head felt dizzy, but he was still able to do it. He then took a sip of the mineral water just to wet his dry throat.
"How are you doing?" David brought his wheelchair closer to the left side of Sean's bed, received the bottle of drink Sean had used and placed it on the nightstand.
Sean smiled faintly, only this time did he feel how worried a father was. His heart warmed with happiness. He did not expect to meet his biological father so much fun that his anger had gradually disappeared.
"I'm fine." Sean sighed then continued saying "I want you to meet someone."
"Someone, who?" David asked with a face full of curiosity.
Sean widened his smile, his countenance brightened and his eyes sparkled with a very noticeable love. "Someone who means so much to me, who changed my life, even feel like my life is with her?"
Sean's face filled with happiness was contagious to David, he also smiled happily with the mind still wondering. "Do you mean a lover?"
"More than that, even I've married her." Sean's face looked up, staring at the ceiling of his treatment room.
"I love him so much and miss him."
