"Are you still thinking about Varo?" Sean lay on his side and tightened his arms around Salwa's stomach by putting his chin between his wife's shoulders and neck. Sean decides to stay in the hospital until Salwa's condition improves, now they are sharing a narrow treatment bed in the hospital with Salwa lying on his back to Sean.
Salwa was speechless, she did not want to ruin their intimate atmosphere. Although in his heart he still thought of Varo. He just wanted to know how the man was doing. Were the injuries on his body nothing serious or perhaps very serious? Salwa wanted to ask, but she only dared to ask in her heart hoping that Sean would give her his own life without Salwa asking for it.
Sean smiled a thin smile, then turned Salwa's body to face him. With just one finger, Salwa raised her head to face her face.
"Say, I just want to know how you feel." Sean spoke softly but directly pierced into Salwa's heart. Still silent, not knowing what to say, Salwa was afraid that her words would upset Sean so much that she still thought what answer could represent her feelings but not hurt her husband.
Sean lowered his head, giving a warm kiss on Salwa's still-silent lips. Though his heart ached knowing Salwa was still thinking about Varo, he tried to be patient. The doctor said that his wife should not be too much of a burden on the mind, so Sean decided to eliminate all the problems Salwa was thinking about.
"Tell me, I won't be angry" Sean said.
"Really?"
"Ehem, now I want to be your friend." Sean rubbed Salwa's head, stroking her hair which he had removed. Salwa was pensive again by wrinkling her eyebrows.
"Friends? Wh why? Do you not want me anymore? Would you leave me? But, why?" Salwa flocked Sean with many questions but Sean chuckled. How could Salwa guess that Sean would leave her? Even Sean never wanted to imagine parting with his wife.
Sean tapped Salwa on the forehead with his index finger, he smiled by pulling the two corners of his lips.
"Not that the husband is a friend, we are a friend of life that can only be separated by death, so if you have a problem or disturbing thoughts, you can share them with me. Whatever it is," said Sean who then made Salwa moved. Salwa lowered her head, then buried her face in her husband's chest. She cried.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I don't know what to do. As Varo approached me, I wanted to tell you the truth, but I just kept quiet because of my promise to you to keep our relationship a secret so that I could only avoid it. But it made Varo try harder and when he found out about my pregnancy, Varo was disappointed in me for maybe thinking I was playing with his feelings. So what happened on campus wasn't entirely Varo's fault, but it was all my fault. I was wrong, I'm sorry." Salwa cries, spilling her guilt on Sean who saw the unfortunate incident earlier this morning on his campus.
"No, I was wrong. For the sake of keeping you safe, I don't think about the worst effects for you. I thought too much about how to hide you from my enemies but I didn't think how you would deal with your friends let alone face a male friend who might like you. Thank you for not turning away when I'm not around, thank you for taking care of your heart." Sean's voice sounded soft but full of regrets.
"Aren't you angry?" Salwa asked again, Sean wiped Salwa's tears with his thumb and kissed his wife's forehead fondly.
"Do you want to meet Varo?"
"What..?" Salwa was surprised at the question Sean asked. Sean had to forbid Salwa to meet with Varo, but Sean offered it to Salwa.
"Varo was taken care of next to your room, if you want to see him you can drive you." Salwa looked at her husband's face. Wouldn't Sean be hurt if Salwa decided to meet Varo? Why did Sean give Salwa the green light to see him again? Salwa shook her head, however her husband's feelings were number one, she should not be selfish by agreeing to meet Varo.
"I don't want to see him."
Sean slipped Salwa's hair behind his ear and gently rubbed his wife's cheek.
"Mas has met with Varo's father, he apologized for the actions of Varo who dared to do reckless like that. Currently Varo is accompanied by both his parents."
"Keep know Varo's father?" Salwa asked again in surprise. Why does almost everyone know Sean, even though this man has just been in this country, but it seems like a lot of people already know him and know him.
"Of course, who do you think helped with our marriage?"
"Helped in our marriage?" Salwa simply repeated Sean's question in confusion.
"We wouldn't have been able to get married back then if we hadn't been helped by Varo's father."
"What..really?"
"Yes, I asked Varo's father to find out about your family, and Varo's father was also the one who had been helping the family, therefore mas want to bring Varo to this hospital to treat his injuries because remembering the services of his father who has been helping mas to."
Salwa's face blushed hearing Sean's words. She always felt good when she was with her husband.
....
Salwa was wearing a wheelchair when Sean took her to see Varo, and now she was at the door of Varo's room. Salwa turned her face up, looking at Sean's grim-looking face but trying to hide it by displaying a flat smile.
"Mas, aren't you coming in with me?"
Sean bowed his face and brought his lips closer to Salwa's ears.
"Come in, I trust you. I'll wait here."
Sean opens the door to Varo's treatment room for Salwa. With her husband's permission Salwa agrees to meet Varo, speaking from heart to heart. Sean shut the door when Salwa went inside.
Highlight Sean's eyes back cold, he stepped on the waiting chair that was in front of Varo's room. Sean put an ear phone in his ear, apparently he put a wiretap that he put under Salwa's wheelchair to find out the conversation of the two. Maybe that way Sean knows what his wife really feels.
Salwa advances her electric wheelchair towards Varo's bed. The man was full of bandages, on his head, arms and legs. Salwa was not surprised by it, she saw for herself how Sean beat her using a wooden board that was quite large and it must have been bad and left quite serious injuries on Varo's body.
Varo blinked his eyelids, it seemed that a new consciousness was seeping into his body. For a while he was unaware of Salwa's whereabouts, but when he wanted to take a drink on the nightstand beside his bed, Varo's eyes were rubbed with Salwa's eyes.
"Salwa." call him shrewd. Salwa smiled faintly while nodding.
"How are you doing?" Ask Salwa later. Their distance is not too close, Salwa tried as much as possible to keep the distance with Varo. Not because he was disgusted to see Varo's wounds but rather the norm of a married woman.
"This way, I'm glad you want to see me." Varo tried to smile even though his cheek hurt.
"I'm sorry, if only I had told you the truth from the beginning maybe none of this would have happened."
Varo smiled bitterly, this woman in front of him is too sweet. Even with Varo's already brazen treatment towards him, Salwa still apologized to him. It should be Varolah who apologized, not Salwa who had been the victim of his behavior. And the wounds he received may not have been worth his depraved behavior that nearly harassed women as well as Salwa.
"I'm the one who should apologize, I've been rude to you, I've insulted you too. I should be ashamed to see you again." said Varo later.
"It's okay, I've forgiven you. I think it's enough, get some rest, I'll go back to my room." Salwa was about to turn the direction of her wheelchair, but Varo suddenly called out to her.
"Salwa, are you happy with your marriage?"
Salwa smiled as she nodded"Of course, I'm happy."
Sean who heard Varo's question gnashed his molar, how the man did not know himself so confidently said that in Salwa's heart there was still his name and said that Salwa was forced to love her who was clearly Salwa's husband.
"I love him Varo, we are both happy because we have both soul and body. You'll understand that if you're married."
Sean commented a smile by hearing Salwa's reply. Yes, he loved his wife and he was happy.
"Did your husband never hit you or yell at you?" Ask Varo again.
Salwa shook her head "My husband is very gentle with me, that's why I love him."
"I'm glad to hear that, at least you're happy with the person you love."
Salwa nodded, then said goodbye to get out. He didn't want Sean to wait for him for too long.
"Salwa, has my name really been erased in your heart? Are your feelings really gone for me?"
Sean was anxious to strangle Varo's neck right then and there, Varo was completely shameless to ask such a thing to a married woman.
Salwa turned around, she showed her smile again." Varo, maybe forever I can't erase your name in my heart." Varo smiled widely, while Sean was disappointed by Salwa's reply, "But I put it all the way to the bottom and it won't give him a crack to come back to the surface because on the top it's already filled with another name that gives me real love." Salwa sighed, pausing her sentence for a moment.
"Because true love is the love of a husband to his wife, the love of a wife to her husband and the love of parents to her children, besides they are only false love. Varo, you can do it too. All you need to do is open your heart wide to welcome your true love."
Varo smiled listening to Salwa's words. She did not expect Salwa to be a wise woman. And out there, Sean almost shed a tear, his wife was indeed amazing. Without the need to fight, fight and fight he can resuscitate someone just by saying he said.
"Salwa, can I hold you one last time?"
"Of course, you can't. I've married Varo."
Sean almost wants to break down Varo's door because he wants nothing for his wife.
"If you kiss your lips?" Varo spoke with his lips pointed.
"Currently, watch out for you Varo if you dare to do it." Sean's inner voice squeezed his hand.
"Varooo....." Salwa called out Varo's name in length as if to signal Varo not to go on with the nonsense.
"Heemm.I'm sorry, I was just kidding. Come here I want to show you something."
Salwa nodded, she then moved her wheelchair closer to Varo's bed.
"Today, you won't be able to see if you don't get close" Varo said. Salwa also said, he brought his wheelchair closer to Varo's bed, his head lowered following the direction of Varo's hand. Then...
CUPS
Salwa felt a chewy object land on her forehead, she was stunned for a few seconds. His hand was ready to slap Varo but he paled because he saw Varo's cheek was too much wound.
"May you be happy Salwa."
Salwa pulled both corners of her lips, which long curved to form a sweet smile.
"Thank you, excuse me." Salwa immediately turned the direction of her wheelchair and drove towards the door. He reopened the door and exited the treatment room. Sean who was waiting for Salwa outside smiled welcoming Salwa's return. He stood in front of Salwa with his two knees as a pedestal. Sean hugged his wife who was still sitting in a wheelchair tightly.
"Thank you baby" said Sean softly. Salwa returned her husband's embrace equally tightly while closing her eyes, feeling her husband's love and affection for her.
Varo who saw how Sean treated Salwa could only smile bitterly, trying to make Salwa happy with his life choices.

...Ever since we first met I've been in love....
...Even though I know you have the owner....
...But I can't lie to conscience....
...I can avoid this love....
...Then let me love you...
...Or I can just love you....
...Then let me love you...
...Or I can just love you....
...It is wrong to be pierced by the arrow of love....
...I also have an owner....
...But I can't lie to my conscience....
...I was able to avoid this turmoil of love....
...Then forgive me if I love you....
...Or let me hope you love me?...
