"Sister-in-law, the boss told me to take you out to dinner, he'll be home late tonight." Abust knocks on Sean's bedroom door by shouting from outside hoping Salwa gets out of the room immediately.
Hearing that Sean asked him to dinner Salwa immediately opened the door to his room.
"Will it be very night?" Salwa asked Abust.
"Yes, Sean asked you to have dinner with us, because he'd be home late."
Salwa looks a little disappointed, but she wants to ask Sean a lot about the lessons he is learning and he is sure that Sean can answer them. Salwa's expression that looked disappointed could be read by Abust.
"Don't be too sad, we'll keep you company as long as Sean hasn't come home yet." Abust tried to comfort Salwa, but it scared Salwa. But he did not show his fear clearly.
"Thank you" said Salwa with a genuine smile.
Abust and Salwa went down to the table where Leon was eating his food.
"Hey, you're not waiting for us" Abust said, patting Leon on the shoulder.
"Don't bother me, I'm so hungry!" leon said a little unclear as his mouth was full of food.
"You're so dirty." Abust showed an expression of disdain to see Leon speak with such a mouthful, but Leon paid him no heed at all.
Salwa took a plate and put the rice and side dishes and vegetables with normal portions. He also took a full glass of drink.
"You continue to eat, I will have dinner in the room only" Salwa said goodbye to the two men.
"Hey, why not just eat here, it would be nice to eat together," Abust asked with some hope. His efforts will be in vain if Salwa finally chooses his own dinner in the room. Today his work is very tiring to make him want to seek entertainment by inviting Salwa to dinner together even though just talking, just talk, seeing his sister-in-law smiling at him already made him happy because all this time Salwa always looked at him with an angry and hateful look.
"It's okay, I still have to study inside" Salwa replied honestly, she was indeed studying when Abust called her earlier.
"But this is Sean's request, he told us to accompany you to dinner," Abust tried to prevent Salwa, how she was so stubborn. Just to eat together was very difficult to persuade him. How did Sean melt the woman's heart?
"Don't make up, I never told you to accompany him to a meal," Sean's voice suddenly snapped out from behind making the three people instantly look at him.
Salwa smiled happily to see her husband had come home, she walked over to Sean, took over the bag that was carried by her husband and kissed the back of Sean's hand as usual. Sean rubbed Salwa's head and gave her a warm kiss on her forehead.
"Looks like you don't like me coming home fast?" Sean commented with a smile, his hands embracing Salwa's shoulders as he walked hand in hand towards the dining table.
"I'm hungry too, my wife is tired of cooking dinner for me, how can I let that delicious, love-filled dish to spend on your own." Salwa's heart giggled amusedly hearing Sean's words that were always excessive.
"Here we go, let's eat" said Salwa, who had taken her seat next to her husband.
....
Salwa was still sitting in front of her computer. There were so many lessons he had forgotten, that he chose to ask Sean. But now that she sees Sean busy with his work, there's no way she's bothering him, right? Of course Salwa should not be selfish to make Sean stop his work and turn to help him learn.
"Mas, do you want to stay up tonight?" Salwa asked with a cup of coffee in her hand.
"Thank you." Sean spoke briefly without looking at Salwa who was putting the cup of coffee on his desk. Salwa again sat at the study table with the computer still on. He tried to find the answer he was looking for in the search engine but nothing satisfied the results. Because he was too tired he ended up falling asleep with a keyboard pad.
Sean is too focused on his work, so it does not feel like half an hour in the morning. He forgot about the coffee made by Salwa until the coffee was cold. Sean sipped the coffee up the toilet and tidied up the files he finished working on.
Sean turned to his bed, not finding his wife sleeping on it, only then did he realize Salwa's whereabouts as he was about to exit the room looking for the woman and was apparently asleep on his study table.
Sean noticed his wife's tired face in the middle of his deep sleep. He kissed Salwa on his forehead with affection and then lifted the sleeping body slowly and carefully. Sean laid her on the bed after lying down next to her.
As drowsiness began to attack Sean and his eyes almost closed suddenly Salwa awoke with a breath that seemed to hunt. He sat down from his sleep staring at the confusion.
"Mas, am I late?" Sean was confused by Salwa's question. It's too late, it's still midnight.
"Slowly where?" Sean asked who finally sat down beside Salwa even though he was already very sleepy.
"I had a bad dream, I woke up late and didn't get all the tests done right, I failed." Salwa said a little stammering, making Sean worry about her.
"Calm down, you're too nervous. Even the exam is still two days away, I'm sure you can do well. Whatever the result, I will always support you." Sean held Salwa's hand and placed it on his wife's chest.
"Trust in your abilities, everything will go well."
Salwa nodded, she was indeed too nervous about undergoing a test that had not even begun yet. He felt that he had not felt the momentum of the test for so long that he felt anxious and not confident in his own abilities.
Sean poured out his body and his wife to go back to sleep. Her hand caressed Salwa's head, which was now buried in her husband's chest. And in the middle of that cold night the two creatures finally fell asleep in the cradle of the night.
