The Love Trap of the Ruler.
Chapters 219. Coups

Xavier slowly opened the door of his room which creaked slightly. He then looked towards his bed. His wife was sleeping with her mother.

The clock on the wall shows three o'clock in the morning. Xavier who saw the arm in his room broke his intention to go deeper into his room.

But he just wanted to close the door again. Whether it was disturbed or indeed his wife did not sleep well. Graciella seemed to be sitting down.

"Xavier?" Call her a little slow. His waking face is quite noticeable.

Xavier will not want to reopen the door that he had wanted to close. Stepping slowly towards his wife who was staring hope that he would approach her.

"You just got home?" graciella asked staring at the waker clock on the small table beside her bed. At three in the morning.

"Yes, just now," Xavier replied softly as he crouched down in front of his wife sitting on the edge of the bed. "You didn't sleep well, did you?" Xavier's voice was reduced so as not to disturb his mother.

"No, I slept well. But lately I have been waking up this morning. It looks like it is baby-congenital" Graciella said with a smile. Swiping the seeds of his love that developed in his stomach.

Xavier smiled quite sweetly hearing that.

"How's it?" ask Graciella. One of the things that made him unable to sleep was of course due to his great curiosity about the case.

"Master Peter is the culprit," Xavier replied with his slightly still-unacceptable face.

"really? but I don't think he's the only one involved" Graciella said in shock.

"Yes, I feel that way too."

Graciella felt her mother-in-law squirm a little. Probably disturbed by the voices of Xavier and himself.

"It looks like we have to move to another room" Graciella said.

"Yes." Yeah." Xavier immediately stood up and tried to help Graciella stand up. Greciella just smiled. Wanting to say that she did not need to be helped so, but afraid that her husband even felt he rejected her good intentions.

Xavier opened a guest room smaller than their main room. His bed was not as wide as their room. But enough for both of them.

"Want to shower? I provide the hot water first yes," said Graciella saw Xavier who had opened his jacket. Xavier quickly caught his wife's hand.

"No need. I can do it myself. This morning, don't get too much water. Take care of your situation," said Xavier again to gently pull Graciella.

"Alright, I'm sorry I haven't been able to be a good wife. You took my life too soon" said Graciella, who felt she had not served Xavier well since they were married.

Listening to that made Xavier raise the corner of his lips and slowly open the buttons of his dinner shirt.

But he just unbuttoned the third one. Suddenly the sound of a bell immediately made Xavier and Graciella look at each other.

"Who is this early in the morning?" Graciella asked confusedly.

"Surely something urgent," said Xavier who quickly back buttoned his clothes. No one would dare ring the bell of his residence this early in the morning if there was no problem.

Xavier came straight out of the room. Graciella followed him from behind. As soon as Xavier opens that door. He saw the face of Arnold who was also coming with him looking a little anxious.

"What's wrong?" Ask Xavier who knows there must be bad news.

"What emergency?" xavier asked immediately tensely. If Arnold had already reported an emergency to her, then it was indeed an emergency.

"There is a time moving towards the presidential palace. They've surrounded him. You are asked to come to the President as soon as possible" Arnold said.

Xavier frowned deeper, he looked at Graciella who could only silently listen to Arnold's report.

"Alright, I'll leave now," Xavier replied without hesitation immediately entering his house. He swiftly picked up his essentials without noticing Graciella who looked puzzled as to what she should be. It was only the first time he had seen Xavier so tense.

When Xavier changed his office clothes with the clothes he used to meet with the President. His phone seemed to shake. Graciella immediately looked towards the screen. Stevan's name appeared there.

"From who?" xavier asked to fix his collar.

"Stevan," said Graciella quietly.

Xavier picked up the phone and picked up the call.

"Hello?" Answer Xavier. After that, his eyes immediately grew. He was surprised by what Stevan said. "Coup?! All right, we meet there," said Xavier immediately closed the call.

"Xavier, what's wrong?" Asked Graciella who suddenly felt anxious about all this. Xavier must go to a place that is already besieged by time. Isn't that dangerous?

"The situation is a little chaotic. Antony is leading the coup," Xavier said as he continued to do what he had to do, he had to be quick.

"Coup? how come?" graciella was shocked.

"It seems like this was all the plan. He wants to quickly overthrow the power of the current President. He received the full support of the community when he solved the case. He already planned it.” Press Xavier again.

Graciella bit her lip. Then, it's the same that he helped Antony to stage a coup on the government. For some reason now Graciella regrets having ever taken the job from Antony's hands.

“Do not worry.” Xavier held his wife's upper arm gently. She knew from Graciella's face that instantly turned worried and also slightly anxious.

“I just feel guilty for doing this. I should have been, I ...” Graciella said. He knew Antony was looking for support from the case. But he didn't know that Antony would do anything this desperate. A coup against the government. Graciella really feels guilty. Especially now it can be said Xavier got the impact of his actions.

“Nobody knew he would do that. I'm surprised he did this too. But, no need to worry. I'm sure he didn't dare riot. He brings peace and justice. Certainly do not want to make this country into a problem,” said Xavier again.

Graciella nodded slowly. Although his heart was not yet calm, he had to understand. It should not also make Xavier feel worried about him. Right now, his country needs him.

“I have to go now,” said Xavier peeked back at his wife's forehead.

“Alright,” says Graciella. Xavier walked out of the room with his quick steps. Graciella only saw her husband get into her car. Xavier opened the windshield.

“Come in and rest again if you can,” shouted Xavier a little loudly so that Graciella who was standing at his door could listen to him.

“Yes, can tell me your situation if you can,” Graciella said immediately.

Xavier just nodded. Graciella, though reluctant, finally came in and closed the door. Seeing that, Xavier quickly closed the glass. There's not much time. He should hurry to the presidential palace now.

“Street!”
