"Mother will return when the first snow falls to earth." That was the last promise that Greciella always remembered when this now stiffened woman before him drove her to the orphanage a month after her father's death.
Of course, five-year-old Graciella believes this. Every autumn he would wait for the first snow to fall hoping that his mother would return to him.
It took a few years for him to realize that what his mother said was not a promise. Unless it's just a lie.
This woman never came back in her life.
Suddenly, he was in front of her. Graciella was honestly shocked but also didn't know what to do. Looking at the woman, something was stirring up the recesses of her soul. Not sadness but more emotional emptiness. She doesn't know what to do now? Crying out? But to him this woman had died a long time ago. For him right now this is just affirming the truth of his beliefs.
Only one remained in his heart. What made her go and leave Graciella in that orphanage? Is it because he is troublesome? Or how? But now that she was a mother, even a strand of her son's hair was broken because of someone else, she could feel the pain. How could this woman leave him alone?
"Elisabeth Sui, 58 years old. Is that the identity of this woman? Is she really your mother?" Stevan's question messed with Graciella's mind about the dead body of the woman in front of her.
Graciella moved her gaze quite slowly towards Stevan who was holding her subordinate report paper.
"I remember her name was Miranda Sui" Graciella replied.
"But here on the identity card and also the police database, she's Elizabeth Sui."
"He changed his name. Probably to avoid me." Graciella's eyes were empty. Stevan saw it could only nod without continuing his question.
Graciella looked back at the figure in front of her. Just deserve. He tried to find this woman. He changed his name so Graciella couldn't find him. Looks like she didn't want Graciella to see him again.
"There's a lot of weird stuff here" Stevan said.
Graciella nodded. The position of her mother's corpse was very unusual.
"Someone put it this way as if to show the reason for his death was suicide. The weapon that killed him is still he's holding." Daren's analysis looked at the position of the body lying with his hand holding the gun.
"Yes, but the way he holds it is very strange. No one pulls the trigger with the thumb while the other finger greases the body of the gun. It makes the grip more loose. And if he shot himself in the head like that, he would have slipped out of his grasp by the impact of the semi-automatic weapon. After all, did you guys get a blood splash on his hand?" Greciella. It's not that he doesn't have empathy. But now he really doesn't know his feelings. It felt like he was just a stranger he knew.
"True, no spotting of blood at all, his hands were clean." Stevan's head bobbles. Graciella stood up without coming closer. But he can analyze it.
"A person who killed himself in such a manner must have had a splash of blood on his hand. Remembering on the wall alone exposed to splashes of blood. How the hands that are close are not there." Xavier continued his analysis of his wife while pointing out several points of the wall that were affected by the splash of blood.. Greciella nodded, they were one thought.
"Wow! You guys can telepathize?" Ask Stevan. But they don't see Xavier and Graciella discussing.
"Someone had fired the bullet in his head and slipped the gun as if he wanted to cover up the incident. He threatened at first so that a false impression appeared so that we thought maybe my mother wanted to get attention from me and was very depressed with her life and shot herself" explained Greciella again.
"We still have to find proof of who did this to your mother. His body will be taken to a hospital for an autopsy" Stevan said.
...****************...
"Death from a gunshot wound to the head. Estimates of the death were estimated at about six hours before it was found" said a forensic doctor working there. Greciella and Stevan were in the funeral facility of a police hospital.
"Six hours? Not likely. I heard the gun was blown up when the killer called me" Greciella said, staring at the doctor.
Forensic doctors then pulled Graciella's mother's body showing a bruised corpse. "The corpse when it arrived was settled. No longer lost with emphasis. Then it has appeared stiff corpse in the small joints and chin that indicates it has been approximately six hours this corpse was killed," explained the Doctor again.
Graciella frowned. He certainly remembered about his studies in justice medicine. How to determine the time of death based on the condition of the corpse itself.
"You sure you heard that shot?" Ask Stevan.
"Of course, it's not just me. Serin and Brother Daren also heard it. You can ask them."
"Well, we better let this doctor check and give us a report. Anyway it's better you're not in this room."
Greciella. He also only asked for permission for a moment to see the state of his mother. He was also asked for approval for an autopsy and of course he agreed.
Stevan immediately walked out along with Graciella. Xavier and Daren, who were not allowed to enter for a while, waited outside the room. As soon as the door opens. Xavier, who was sitting, stood up.
"How's it?" Ask Xavier.
"The doctor is performing an autopsy inside out. Daren, is it true that you heard the menace shooting?"
"I heard gunshots when Graciella finished calling you. What's wrong?" Answer Daren.
"The doctor said the woman's time of death was approximately six hours before she was found." Stevan tried to explain with a wrinkled face.
"Cannot be. The gunshot was real." Daren doesn't believe it. How did the woman die six hours before she was found?
"Now there are many sounds of weapons that are easy to download. Graciella and Daren heard it on mobile. Anyone can manipulate with all available calls. If the doctor says his death is over six hours. Then what you're hearing isn't real murder time." Xavier immediately triggered what was in his mind.
"It makes sense" said Stevan.
"Commander, this is a deeper search for victims." A subordinate of Stevan immediately handed over a file that was not too thick to Stevan. Greciella frowned. In the file is the journey of his mother's life.
Looking at the curious face of Graciella. Stevan immediately said, "We better discuss it in my office. This place isn't worth it."
The three interlocutors Stevan nodded in agreement. They couldn't possibly discuss in front of a morgue like this. They quickly headed to Stevan's room.
