Sarah's Greatest Happiness

Two days ago, the decision on Sarah's divorce suit to Dito finally came out. The hammer is tapped and the result is valid. Sarah and Dito are no longer married couples. Sarah did not want any grudges left behind so she ended her meeting by shaking hands. Sarah just wishes their lives would be better and happier.

As usual, that night Sarah was also talking to Elton via video call.

"By the way I checked with El's doctor this afternoon." Said Sarah.

"Oh yeah? What did the doctor say?" Tanya Elton was enthusiastic.

Elton was so happy to hear that. She felt her heart grow full of happiness because the woman she loved expected her presence. How happy she was to know Sarah needed her presence. And that means Elton is starting to become an important part of Sarah's life.

But unfortunately, Elton just remembered that next week is the busiest day of his career. Whynot? Next week is his promotion day. The day Elton will officially be appointed head of the branch. Holy hooch! Now Elton is really in a dilemma position.

"Els? If you can't, don't think too much about El. I know you are busy. Then there's Mama and Baim too." Sarah said she was trying to get rid of Elton's worries.

Elton smiled happily. Sarah must have thought that Elton would not be able to accompany her on that important day. But what Sarah doesn't know is Elton has prepared a surprise for her.

"Sir Elton, your leave application has been acc. About if you may know, why suddenly you ask for leave, sir?" Ask Miranti, Elton's secretary.

"There's something important I need to do." Elton.

Actually, upon hearing that Sarah was going to give birth in a week, Elton tried desperately so that he could go to Semarang and be present to accompany Sarah. That's why he's been so busy this week. He had to complete his promotion, the handover ceremony, and finally get leave. But it's all worth it as long as Elton can be with Sarah.

Elton turned on his phone. A message from Sarah came in.

El, I'll probably be home at 8pm today. Doain everything smoothly yes.

"What's? 8 Hours malem? Damn it, because of my delay I got so late for the champagne!" Elton was shocked.

He saw his watch. At 7:15 p.m. Elton immediately ordered a taxi that would take him to the hospital where Sarah's delivery was carried out. He didn't even think of finding a hotel and taking a break. Now all he had in mind was that he had to accompany Sarah through her crucial period.

At 7:45, the taxi drove Elton to the hospital. In a hurry Elton ran to the front of the operating room to wait for Sarah's delivery to be completed. Fortunately Elton's luggage was just a backpack on his shoulder so he could move quickly.

Elton arrived in front of the operating room. He saw Sarah's name written on the patient's column attached to the door. Elton couldn't shake the panic. He repeatedly scratched the kilir because of anxiety and worry about Sarah's condition.

Suddenly a woman who seemed to be in her 50s came to him. Elton knew the woman because Sarah had introduced her on a video call. The woman who looks like Sarah is her mother.

"Son Elton?" Sarah asked Mama not to believe what she saw.

Elton smiled and immediately kissed the woman's hand.

"Yes, Mom. I'm Elton." Elton introduced himself.

"You're really coming here, son? From Ambon? Sarah said you're busy so you can't come." Mama Sarah.

Elton just laughed embarrassedly. How could he have told Sarah's mother that Sarah was such an important person to him that whatever Sarah asked Elton would have fulfilled right then and there. Ah it feels like something like that Elton better keep to himself in the heart.

Like catching the anxiety in Elton's heart, Mama Sarah offers Elton something.

"You wanna go inside? You want to go get Sarah?" Ask Mama Sarag carefully.

Elton was surprised to hear that.

"Can you please, ma'am?" Elton was confused.

Mama Sarah replied with a smile. It turns out that the beautiful smile that Elton always liked from Sarah was a legacy from her mother.

"Can, kok. Come here come with Mom in. But don't be afraid later." Sarah's mother joked Elton into the operating room.

Upon arrival in the operating room, Elton's heart ached to see Sarah in great pain. How great is the sacrifice of a mother for her child. Including holding this pain alone. Elton walked over to Sarah and stood by her side. Sarah's eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"El... you... dateng?" Sarah stammered among her pain.

Elton nodded.

"Thank you, El. Thanks for everything." Sarah said with a faint smile.

Elton held Sarah's right hand gently. Kiss it very carefully. Her right hand pulled Sarah's hair from her forehead that was already soaked in cold sweat.

"I am grateful to you, Sarah. Thanks for asking me to give you a hand." Gentle Elton.

His eyes stared sincerely at Sarah who looked in great pain.

"You don't be afraid, I'm here for you. You could've fucked this up, Sarah." Elton said to encourage Sarah. Both hands gently grasped Sarah's palm while rubbing the back of her hand slowly.

Sarah looked at Elton and replied with a smile.
