Dito's Madness

Maybe Dito's crazy. But Dito was like that a long time ago. If he wants something, he won't stop until he gets it. So too this time. No matter what and how, Dito wants Sarah and Ansel back in his arms. He wants to knit again his dream to have a happy family with Sarah and Ansel like his old ideals.

While it may sound crazy, the only way for Dito to get both is to take Ansel with him. Sarah will return to him.

Since the last 2 weeks, Dito has always visited Ansel at his school. No matter whether Deo was in school or not, Dito would still come to that school. Waiting to meet Ansel. Sometimes when Anggi wants to pick up Deo, Dito will even offer himself to do it. All so he could meet Ansel.

But that day, Dito felt the need to make a big step to get his property back. No matter what the uproar is going to be but Dito will tell Ansel that he is Ansel's real father. Just Dito and not Elton.

At 9 a.m., an hour before Ansel returned home from school, Dito was already there. Coincidentally that day Deo was on school holiday so Dito could be content to meet and play with Ansel without having to think about Deo.

"Good morning, Miss. I'm Ansel's father. Can I take Ansel home first, Miss? Because there's family business, so we and our family have to go out of town." Said Dito to Ansel's homeroom teacher.

Miss Ranti saw Dito. At first he seemed hesitant to let Ansel go with Dito. But because Ansel's face is very similar to Dito's, even a blind person will know Dito is Ansel's father.

"Oh, I have to call Mama Ansel first then, sir." Said Bu Ranti later.

Dito laughing.

"That's necessary, Miss. I am Ansel's father, I must have told Mama Ansel dong that I will be picked up." Dito tried to convince.

Bu Ranti seemed to believe the words that came from Dito's mouth so that he finally allowed Ansel to go with Dito. The suspicion was even more lost because he saw Ansel who was so happy when he met Dito.

Sarah's mind was very upset. He doesn't know where to look for Ansel and Dito. Sarah had tried many times to contact Dito but only the voice of the operator answered him. Various scary scenarios were thought by Sarah but she hurriedly threw it away.

"Dito ain't probably evilin Ansel, is he, El?" Sarah asked Elton nervously.

Asking? Maybe it's not a question. Those words were more like a way for Sarah to convince herself. Convince her that nothing will happen to her son. And convinced himself, with little confidence left, that Dito was unlikely to endanger the life of his own flesh and blood.

"We're trying to get to Dito's parents' house, aren't we, honey? Who knows where they know where Dito went." Propose Elton and immediately drive his car to the destination.

But still the result is nil. When Sarah and Elton arrive at the second home of her former in-laws, Dito is nowhere to be found. Sarah is trying hard to find information about Dito's whereabouts but what she gets is still a big zero.

Sarah knocked on the door of the big house. A woman opened it. Not Mama Dito or Bi Asih their domestic assistant, but Anggi. Anggi Dito's second wife who is now his legal wife. Anggi's face changed when he saw Sarah standing in the doorway.

"Why are you here?" Ask Anggi ketus.

"Do you want to see Dito, Ma'am?" Anggi replied with a cynical tone.

Maybe Anggi thinks Sarah is a cheap woman with no self-esteem. Even after being thrown away, she would crawl to her husband's feet. But Anggi is wrong. Sarah's arrival is not for Dito but only for his only son, Ansel.

"Where is Dito Nggi?" Said Sarah.

"Dito ain't home. From the morning he came out he said there was a meeting at the office." Answer Anggi lazily.

"Jawab first, why are you looking for my husband, Ma'am?" Pursue Anggi to Sarah who seems to be leaving.

"Dito take Ansel away! Dito took my son to go, don't know where Anggi is!" snapped Sarah.

Anggi surprised. His eyes widened as if they were going to come out of their sockets. His mouth was open, unable to believe what he was hearing.

"Ga maybe, Ma'am! Don't look for excuses! Dito went to his office. Why would he take your son away?!" Anggi did not believe.

Sarah furious. He had no time to argue with this stubborn woman. But it looks like Anggi can't see Sarah leaving without a single quarrel.

"Because Dito's Ansel's father!" Sarah is upset.

Like a gong being sprinkled near his ear, Anggi was surprised not to hear Sarah's words. Dito is the father of Sarah's son? Didn't her mother say that Sarah was pregnant with her affair? Is that why Dito kicked him out?

"You don't lie, Ma'am! Mama says you're pregnant with your love! Don't you brainwashed Dito let him believe that Ansel is his son?! Dito's son is Deo and only Deo!" Anggi did not believe.

"You asked your mother-in-law if you didn't believe it. I have to go find Ansel, I don't have time to deal with your bullshit!" Sarah runs away with Elton to go back to find Ansel.

Anggi. Is it possible that Ansel is the little boy in the photo? What did he see taking pictures with his two in-laws? It is only fitting why Anggi felt familiar seeing the photo of the boy. Because Ansel is very similar to her husband and also Deo, her son.

Her tears can no longer be blocked. Anggi was disappointed that Dito had lied to him. Is this why Dito changed since returning to Semarang? Is this the reason why Dito is always enthusiastic to pick up Deo and even disappear every morning? Because he wants to meet his son with Sarah? And what's more, now that Dito took the boy away from his mother? What does Dito really want?

Dito and Ansel had a lot of fun today. He took Ansel to an amusement park, tried to ride each ride, and bought a variety of good toys for Ansel. Dito's heart was filled with happiness as he felt Ansel had returned completely to be his. The longer Dito spent with Ansel, the more he realized the resemblance between the two of them. Like Dito's little habits that he also saw in Ansel.

Dito feels his dream to return to life as a happy family with Ansel and Sarah is in sight. One more step and his dream will come true. He will live with his beautiful wife and his handsome son. Both of his parents will be very happy with this. Because unlike Anggi who can never adjust to his parents, Sarah is a favorite of Mama and Papa.

Dito's smile expands imagining everything that will happen. The pieces of his life would slowly return to their place. Suddenly Dito felt something pulling at the end of his clothes. Dito. He saw Ansel asking him to come closer like he wanted to talk.
