The One Night Stand

Kara starts the day by preparing coffee for herself. This is Friday, Kara plans to invite Kevin home and make pancakes as promised.

Mike noticed a change in Kara's cheerful face later on, "Like someone's in love here?" Mike was standing in front of Kara's desk.

"Hmmmmmh...Gossip mister, please stay away from me!" reply Kara while holding a pen to Mike's chest.

"Aren't you my guess, you were with that guy yesterday?" chase Mike.

"I'm still in the introductory stage, so I'm still waiting for the next continuation. I don't want to rush into a relationship. Want to enjoy it first, for now." replied Kara while staring at the monitor screen in front of her. "Like the man is a famous professor," Mike prodded the tabloid with Kevin's cover as a speaker in the white building. Kara immediately grabbed the tabloid, then read carefully. During this time, he never studied Kevin's profession and activities. There was a sense of pride tucked in his heart while reading the news and bio Kevin.

"I told you, we're still at the introductory stage. So, just look at the progress."

"Don't let go! He looks including a loyal man," said Mike, Kara looked astonished at Mike. " How do you know that?"

"There's not a single news and a photo of him with a woman, except for this," Mike showed the news of Cindy's wedding, where there's a picture of Kara next to Kevin. "Jeez Kara, you guys are really a soul mate apparently," continued Mike.

"It's Mike, get on with our work. This week I'm going to write a culinary article, hopefully my writing gets a positive response from the reader," Kara continued her work, regardless of Mike again. Finally Mike headed to his desk, and continuing his work again, Kara glanced at him with a smile.

That day Kara came home faster than usual, she stopped by the supermarket to buy groceries, then immediately walked to her apartment. In the distance Kevin looked at Kara who was busy carrying groceries. Actually Kevin was impatient to see Kara, intending to pick her up, but Kara forbid on the grounds of wanting to prepare dinner, he said, and finally Kevin just watched Kara from a distance waiting until approaching dinner time to come directly to Kara's apartment.

Kara walks quickly into the apartment, preparing all the ingredients, she will make meatloaf, mac and cheese, boiled corn, salad, and for her dessert she will make pancakes with maple syrup. Kara put the corn in the pot to boil. Stir the ground meat with onions, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and a little mustard, then bake the mixture into meatloaf.

While waiting for the corn and meatloaf to ripen, Kara sliced various vegetables for salad. Mix the ingredients of pancakes, then stir with agility. Kara was happy when cooking like this. Arriving, the door to his room was knocked.

Kara paused for a moment to open the door.

"Kevin? It's not a meal yet and I'm not ready yet!" kara said while scratching her head.

"Can I help you? I'm so hungry!" Kevin made a sad face, making Kara smile at him.

"Come in!"

Kevin puts his coat on the hanger, then heads to the kitchen following Kara.

"So, what can I help you with?" tanyakanya.

"you just sit there, waiting for me to finish cooking. Tell me anything when I cook, I'll be so happy to hear it" Kara replied as she handily cut strawberries for pancake toping smoothies.

Kevin was stunned when he saw Kara's action in the kitchen, Kara looks very sexy according to him. Her hair was slightly curled, wearing an apron, looking a little sweaty on her forehead. It made Kevin fascinated to look at Kara's face. Kara stared back at Kevin, feeling that Kevin was looking at her,

"Is something wrong with me?" ask Kara. Kevin smiled "You're so pretty!" said it.

"Ah, all men are good at seducing," Kara continued stirring the pancake batter, but in her heart blushed in embarrassment, hoping that the man in front of her did not realize that. "Honestly, I'm not good at seducing. I'm telling you the truth. You're so pretty," Kevin was still staring at Kara who was busy stirring the dough.

Kara's heart was pounding, never had she felt anything like this, even with Josh it didn't feel so tight. Kevin's sharp gaze was stirring up his feelings. Kara tries to stay focused on making pancakes, while arranging the meatloaf that has matured.

"Ouch!" Kara bit her finger that was hit by the baking sheet. Kevin immediately approached and held Kara's hand checking her finger. They look at each other, but the smell of the scorch from the pancake, makes Kara realize, and hurriedly release Kevin's grip.

Kara set her breath, trying to focus on making pancakes.

Kevin realizes that if Kara misbehaves him, he feels happy, Kara looks very adorable. It felt like Kevin hugged and kissed the woman, but he realized, it might be too soon for Kara.

"I'll help with the table," Kevin helped with the meatloaf tray and the salad bowl. The fragrant aroma of mac and cheese is very tempting, Kevin scoops and eats it. Kara laughed at Kevin.

"Well we eat first, the pancakes for dessert later just stay up,"

"Please!" Kara took the meatloaf pieces to Kevin's plate, then put the mac and cheese on the side of the plate with corn and salad.

"Hmmmmm.. It feels like eating in a restaurant, feels very luxurious!" praise Kevin.

"Thank you, this is the second time you've praised my cooking like it's in a restaurant."

Kevin smiled nodding and continued to put food in his mouth.

"I love mac and cheese so much, my mom always makes it, and I'm the one who always spends the most," scooping up the Mac and cheese bowl and putting it on the plate.

"Yes, your mother is so beautiful, Brian once showed you a picture of your family."

"Brian, have you told me anything about me?" ask Kevin

"Not much, he says you're nerdy, very cold to women. Although many like, but you are too indifferent. Really true?" Kara asked back.

"They just want to use my intelligence to get good grades, obviously I'm not interested in them."

"Have you ever had someone special?" ask Kara.

"Right," Kevin sighed for a moment staring at Kara.

"Then?" Kara curious.

"Had he only been in the past, I had not forgotten him, but there was no more feeling for him."

Kara looked at Kevin with sympathy.

"How was your relationship with Josh and Kenny?" ask Kara with heart.

"We're fine" Kevin replied quickly.

"Kenny said he had trouble contacting you. Josh and I were at home looking for you, when you were in college S2. Grandma told me a lot about you. He's so proud of you."

Kevin stood up to finish his plate, but Kara held him back.

"Let me!"

"No, I'll help you wash the dishes, you just prepare the dessert I'm looking forward to!" Kara laughed, she just remembered her pancakes had not been arranged on the plate.

Kara arranged pancakes, given berry smoothies, topped with strawberry pieces, then doused maple syrup. Kevin looked at Kara's action without blinking, Kara smilingly glanced at Kevin.

"Try it!" Kara thrusts the pancake dish towards Kevin who is still washing the dishes.

Kevin dried his hand, then cut the pancakes, and ate them. Kevin immediately took a plate of pancakes from Kara's hand, it did not take long he spent a portion of pancakes.

"It's delicious, no wonder that many say your store is famous for its pancakes" said Kevin.

Kevin washes the dishes, Kara cleans the dinner table, then helps dry the dishes that Kevin finished washing.

"Wait a minute!" word arrived, he then cleaned the soap foam attached to Kevin's cheek with tissue.

Kevin looked at Kara's face, holding Kara's hand still on her cheek. Then Kevin kissed Kara's lips gently and Kara returned the kiss. They spent the night together.
