Kevin sat down on the chair next to the patient's bed. His eyes were still staring at the woman he had barely met for two months. His body looked thinner, his shoulder blades were visible, his face looked thin and his eyes were thick under his eyes. Moreover, at this time he saw Kara lying in a hospital bed with an infusion hose in her hand. Kevin was sad to see Kara.

Kevin clasped Kara's fingers, and kissed her, Kara just silently pecked.

"I'm sorry Kara! I really didn't mean it that way. Stella and I have memories, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go back with her." Kevin looked at Kara sincerely.

Kara nodded weakly, "How are you?"

"As you can see."

Kevin spread out his hand, showing the current state.

"Your arms look thick, your face looks pitiful!" kara's hand touched Kevin's face. Kevin laughed at Kara's words.

"Why laugh?" Kara scrunched her forehead.

"We both look pathetic, don't we? We each torture ourselves. So stupid!"

"You are stupid!" Kara glared at Kevin.

"This is proof that you have collapsed like this" Kevin pura angry at Kara.

"I'm like this because of his work, and I'm currently starting to learn how to create a personal blog for documentation."

"Yes?" kevin asked, answered a nod of the head by Kara.

Kara picks up her phone placed on the bedside table, fiddles with her phone, and shows Kevin.

Kevin watches carefully Kara's youtube video, and she claps after the video ends.

"How's it?" ask Kara.

"Hmmm. for a beginner, it's already very good. The number of visitors, then the like button and comments alone are many. Don't be too busy, I don't want to see you like this anymore!" Kevin looked expectantly at Kara.

"Do you want to tell me about yourself, Josh, Kenny, and Stella?" Kara does not want to wait any longer, this is what makes her start to rethink her relationship with Kevin. Kevin doesn't want to be open about his past.

Kevin stood up, then walked towards the window, looked outside, he silently momentarily stared outwards. He's stringing words together to explain everything to Kara.

She knows the real problem is not being forthright with Kara about her past. He meant that Kara was not hurt, but apparently thought Kevin was wrong. Kara wants him to be honest.

Kevin turned his head towards Kara who was still waiting for Kevin to answer his question.

Kevin approaches Kara, sitting back by her side while clasping Kara's hand. He took a deep breath before starting the story.

"I'll tell you everything, but please don't hate anyone. I've kept it all this time, buried all the past, so that no one would hurt me anymore. But, I was wrong, the more I kept to myself the heavier it got. I didn't torture myself much, but dragged you along tormented with my selfishness."

Kara patted Kevin's back and gave him support.

Kevin knew it was time he opened it all to the woman in front of him.

"Me, Josh, Kenny, and Stella have been best friends since childhood, in addition to our homes being close together, as well as the same age. We went to the same school from Elementary School to High School. Josh was an idol at High School, he was the best soccer player in school. A lot of girls who are racing are approaching her, except for Stella."

Kevin smiled as he told the story of his High School days.

"Perhaps, Stella and I were among the nerdy children of the time, the two of us studying together more often, sometimes at her house, or at my house. Stella's father was one of the officials in the small town. Me, Josh, and Kenny spend a lot of time at his house with a swimming pool and private sports facilities."

"You swim together often?" ask Kara.

"Yes, besides us, there are girlfriends invited by Stella."

"I can't remember exactly when, maybe when Josh started busy with soccer practice, Kenny began to actively play basketball, while Stella and I often together because of MIPA excursion. Our school MIPA team was often in championships, so Stella and I were together a lot. From then on we became close, until college we were still in a relationship." Kevin took a moment.

"How far did you have anything to do with that?" ask Kara curiously.

"You mean?"

"Hmmm... Have you ever slept with her?"

Kevin laughed at Kara's question. Kara looked at Kevin with a look of wonder.

"You're the one who took my virginity beautiful Miss!" kevin exclaims while pecking Kara's nose. Kara was still staring at Kevin.

"Then you guys did anything? I mean that time of turmoil your young soul, is there no desire to try?" Kara went awry with her own questions.

"Loving someone doesn't mean you have to sleep together, I think. My father taught me to respect women. It was my first kiss with her, we were just kissing and flitring, never that far."

"Why did you split up? Don't you love her?"

"Stella managed to graduate from medicine, while I went to the same university. Josh and Kenny are at the same university and one major, but separate from me and Stella. We were in touch up to level four or five back then." Kevin was silent for a moment.

"That day Stella was invited to the birthday of one of her friends, I should have accompanied her. But, that night Kenny was involved in a gang fight, I helped Kenny, accompanied him that night, because his parents were out of town. I have apologized to Stella, explaining that I did not accompany her to her friend's party. Apparently Josh was also invited by Stella's friend. Maybe then Stella was upset with me, then spilled it all on Josh" Kevin continued.

"Then...?"

"A few months later, Stella was kicked out by her parents, and she came to my house. He confesses, that on the night after his friend's birthday party, he slept with Josh." Kevin silently looked at Kara.

"Well?" Kara tries to put together all of Kevin's stories and deduce them.

Kevin stood hugging Kara who was down.

Kara didn't expect Josh to hide all this for that long.

"Stella struggled on her own, although her parents still financed her college. She lived with her grandmother that long."

"Why doesn't Josh want to take responsibility?"

"Stella does not want to marry Josh, even though Josh once said he wanted to be responsible. Stella wants to be with me. After I found out everything, I started to stay away from Stella and Josh. Still in touch with Kenny."

Kara nodded.

"Stella is a tough woman, her mother's father is embarrassed because of it, until now they do not want to accept her granddaughter. Her father once came to the house asking me to marry Stella."

"Oyeah, then?"

"Obviously I refused."

"I was disappointed in Stella and I wouldn't go back to her, and then take a break from studying, so I could graduate quickly, and then I applied for a scholarship at MIT, and I graduated."

Kara listened to Kevin's story quietly.

Kara felt that she should be able to accept everything and open her heart sincerely to Kevin.

Kara buried her head in the chest of Kevin who still tells the story when he was in college to work today.

Until Kara's eyes closed listening to Kevin's story as if telling stories for him.

Kevin slowly put Kara's head on the pillow, and wrapped it around his chest, then headed towards the sofa in the room to rest as well.
