The One Night Stand

The One Night Stand
Speak What Are You?

The weather is warm, summer has begun. Kara has contacted Uncle Marco for a visit to the restaurant for a tabloid culinary coverage interview.

Kara weighs her phone, she wants to invite Kevin, but on the other hand she feels it will be troublesome. Kara dialed Kevin's number. The first ring, Kara waited, the second ring began to fidget, the third ring sounded the call answered, "Yes Kara, what's up?"

"Hmmmmmh... Today I'm going to Uncle Marco's place, can you accompany me? If you are busy, don't. I can do it myself," Kara spoke quickly. Kevin, who had just regained consciousness from sleep, began to digest the word Kara said.

"Please wait thirty minutes, yes, I'll be there soon."

The phone is turned off, Kara is still staring at her phone in disbelief.

Friday night they spent the night together, now on Sunday, he invited Kevin to accompany him to Uncle Marco's restaurant for coverage.

I'm like a cheap woman

Kara regrets the decision to take Kevin.

Thirty minutes passed, the room door was knocked, Kara immediately opened the door.

"Wait, I'll get the bag!"

Suddenly Kevin held Kara's arm, hugged Kara's waist and kissed her lips. Kara was stunned by Kevin's actions that arrived.

"Kevin?" Kara's waking up Kevin.

Kevin let go of his embrace slowly "Sorry, I missed you since yesterday" whispered Kevin right in Kara's ear.

Kara closed her eyes, her ears touching Kevin's lips. Kevin kissed Kara's ears, then her neck, and hugged Kara from behind. "Can we enjoy being together for a moment?"

Kara flipped over, looked at Kevin, and nodded her head, draping her hands around Kevin's neck.

They make out on the couch to the dining table. After reaching the peak of pleasure, Kara hugs Kevin's body.

"Am I cheap to you?" kara whispers

Kevin shook his head to look at Kara, "I love you Kara! I want to be with you always." Kara looked at Kevin. There was happiness in his heart.

"Am I saying it too soon?" ask Kevin heart.

"No."

Kara took off her embrace, then tidied her clothes back up. Kevin tidied up his jeans, while occasionally kissing Kara.

Kevin drove to Uncle Marco's place, along the way they joked and laughed, not infrequently they sang following the song played on the radio.

Kara leaned her head on Kevin's shoulder, Kevin hugged Kara's shoulder and kissed her forehead.

Kara felt like Kevin was different from Josh. Josh always paid little attention to her, whether it was flowers or parcels, even treating Kara like a princess. While Kevin, giving attention, but in a way that seems indifferent.

Kara feels comfortable with Kevin, for some reason she shares more stories with Kevin. Kara sighed, feeling unfair comparing the two men.

Kevin parked the vehicle in Uncle Marco's yard, the smell of pizza having welcomed their arrival. There were more parked vehicles than yesterday when they arrived.

Kara took a picture of the place, and documented it in video form.

Kara glanced at the pizza furnace, which looked full of baking pans inside. The visitor's desk was also full, some were waiting in the courtyard seats.

"Like he didn't come on time?" Ask Kara.

"No, Son. It's lunchtime, especially Sunday. Wait another hour, it'll be quieter!" reply Aunty.

"I want to document the pizza making and restaurant area. Can Bi?"

"Of course my son."

Kara documents every activity in the restaurant in the form of photos and videos, ranging from the visitor area to the kitchen. Kara interviewed some of the customers who came. He recorded and recorded things related to Uncle Marco's efforts.

Hidden gem maybe that could be the term for this restaurant. Kara sees a lot of potential that can be developed again from the efforts of Uncle Marco. He waited for a quiet customer, only able to talk longer with Uncle and Aunt.

Nearly two hours into their wait for a somewhat quiet restaurant, Kara and Kevin have finished two pizzerias, spaghetti, and pasta. Kara really enjoyed everything that Uncle and Aunt ate. They ate on the terrace behind the restaurant, where Uncle and Aunt lived.

"Sorry to wait a long time" said Uncle Marco.

"No problem, Uncle. Sorry to take time this Sunday." Kara feels bad for Uncle Marco for interrupting his work hours.

"No son, I'm so glad you guys came again."

"How did Uncle start this place?" tanya Kara started the interview.

"As you know, Uncle used to work from one restaurant to another. One day, Aunt May says that her best friend is having a birthday. He wanted to make her a special meal. And then I made pizza and pasta, and then Auntie made pancakes and salads. It turned out that his friends and family really liked it, even they were about to order the same menu for the next dinner. At first it was not direct, we received orders every weekend only. Over time many orders, some even request for ordinary days. Eventually we were overwhelmed, I stopped working at a restaurant, and opened a little tavern in Boston."

"When we were starting a pizza shop, Kevin happened to get an S2 scholarship to MIT. She stayed with us during her college days, "Aunti May chimed in while looking at Kevin.

"Kevin often helps us to deliver customer-ordered pizzas in his spare time, although the rewards can eat as much pizza as possible." Aunt May, followed by a laugh by Kevin.

"Then how did you get here?" Kara probes.

"We received word, Aunt May's father passed away, and Bibi got her inheritance from her father. The back of the restaurant is one of them. We stayed here while still selling pizza. The house, which is now for a restaurant, belongs to a deceased neighbor, because no family came to take care of this house, we asked the local government. Turns out to be in auction assets." Uncle Marco paused for a moment to take a breath.

"Uncle and Bibi joined the auction and finally got a cheap price because it is located far away like this" he continued.

"For the clerk, where's Uncle looking?"

"I only recruit young people around here, who want to work please register. For wages are not as big as in the city, but it can be to live a day," replied Uncle Marco.

"Didn't Uncle want to develop a business, for example by using a food truck, to market or introduce this pizza?"

"Hmmmmmh... Just thought, but we also need to set up the truck, and find more employees." Uncle seemed to be thinking of the idea from Kara.

"Actually, Uncle can search in a used car place, usually if the search jelly will be able to get a cheap price. For truck modifications, Uncle can contact Uncle Frank, here's his business card. He's a member of our family and surely Uncle knows him, right?"

Uncle Marco looked at Kara with a big smile, "Jeez Kara, it turns out that your father's business blood is dropping to you!"

Uncle Marco received the business card and looked again.

"I'll call her!" exclaim Uncle.

Kara finishes the interview, then prepares to say goodbye. Uncle and Aunt hug Kara and Kevin when they part, they promise to come back.

Kara will also send a tabloid, if the writing has been published.
