Kara ran up the office stairs, rushing to her desk. Several tasks await, the marketing division needs financial statements for this morning's marketing strategy.

This morning, he left Kevin still sleeping in his room. Kara leaves a cup of coffee and pancakes for Kevin's breakfast at the dinner table.

Monday morning was Kara's busiest day of the week, with some divisions requiring financial statements to review work last Sunday. Kara started to focus in front of the monitor screen.

Kevin opened his eyes, Kara was no longer beside him. He got up and took a shower. Finished getting dressed, he came out of the room, the smell of coffee made him turn to the dining table, he headed to the table.

There was a message from Kara 'happy breakfast' written on a piece of note paper next to a pancake plate. Kevin enjoys breakfast, while checking his phone. There's a seminar and a meeting with a client in New York tomorrow morning. Kevin immediately called his assistant to prepare a ticket to take care of his business trip.

Finished cleaning the dining table, Kevin leaves Kara's apartment and heads to her office.

A few messages came in from Stella.

Kevin I'm on my way to Washington, I'm there for the next week. Can we meet?

The message from Stella in the tube, Kevin shook his head with a sigh, putting the phone back in his pocket.

Kevin prepares data for client projects in New York. Kevin is an informatics expert, currently working for a well-known IT company. Not infrequently he became a speaker in open lectures, or seminars, even the government sometimes uses his services.

Kevin looked at his watch, it didn't feel like it was almost 12 p.m. He closed his laptop, walked out of the study.

" What time will my flight be?" ask Henry, his assistant.

"At 5 pm Sir, for lodging later I send proof of booking. The hotel is not far from the university" replied Henry.

"I leave it all to you. I'm going out to lunch."

"Good Sir."

Kevin rushed on foot, heading for Kara's office two blocks away from work.

Kara rested her eyes by looking out the window, from afar she saw Kevin walking quickly towards her office.

Soon Kara's coming down looking for Kevin.

As Kara exits her office, Kevin is right across the street. Kara waved her hand gesturing if she was the one going across. Kevin waited with a smile.

"Thank you for the breakfast" said Kevin when Kara was in front of him.

"Why come see me this afternoon?" ask Kara while crossing both hands to the chest.

"We're having lunch together, I know a good place around here." Kara walked after Kevin. Suddenly Kevin clasped Kara's hand, holding her.

Soon they were at the place Kevin recommended. The place is not too big, the aroma of spices smelled by Kara. Kara read the menu board there is a menu of soto, satay, fried rice, fried noodles. "Indonesian Restaurant?" ask Kevin.

"Yes," Kevin answered briefly while guiding Kara into the restaurant. Kevin headed towards the somewhat corner section on the inside of the restaurant. A waiter gives a menu list to them to order. They ordered satay, fried noodles, fried rice, tofu fill, cendol, and iced tea.

"How do you know this place?" ask Kara curiously.

"My college friend once invited me here, he was Indonesian, at first I was not familiar, but after trying, it turned out to taste very good. I want to eat here with you. Do you know Indonesian cuisine?" Kevin asked back.

"My office friends are from Indonesia. I often stop by his place, not even infrequently he brought me his Indonesian food."

Their orders have arrived. Kara and Kevin immediately ate the dish.

"Yes, back in college, my friend also often cooked Indonesian food, and I was among those he shared often" Kevin said. Kara nods while eating satay.

"Kara, I'm going to New York later in the afternoon, back home on Friday. I have a job there. I honestly miss you so much." Kevin held Kara's hand.

"Since I met you, I don't want to be away from you. You make me feel always happy Kara" Kevin continued.

"Yes, maybe we should finish this meal immediately, so you can be ready for it."

Kevin laughed at Kara who was starting to panic.

"Calm down, my assistant Henry has everything ready. My clothes have also been prepared, then just leave. I've been through this a lot before I met you" said Kevin.

They finish lunch, Kevin takes Kara to his office. "See you this weekend, I must miss you so much" Kevin hugged Kara and kissed her. Kara smiled across to the office. Kara turned around and waved at Kevin as he was about to walk into the office. Kevin looked at Kara until he reached his study. Kevin can see Kara from the window. Kara headed to the window smiling at Kevin, then she passed by to her workplace.

Kevin and Henry prepare for their official trip. After lunch Kevin went home to pick up his bag of clothes, as did Henry. They met at the airport. Kevin finished some work at the airport lounge. The plane came on time, they left for New York.

Stella set foot in Washington with a happy face. Stella is Kevin's ex-lover, who still hopes to get back to Kevin. Stella is an internal medicine doctor. He now works at a hospital in LA. Stella is from the same town as Josh, Kevin, and Kenny.

Stella searches for Kevin's company name, and records his phone number while in the taxi. The taxi stopped at a star hotel, Stella pulled her suitcase inside the hotel. A bellboy greeted him, helping to lift the suitcase huh. Stella's headed to the reception for check in.

Cell phone rings

"Yes baby?"

"Ma, how long's mama been gone?"

"Mama's coming home next week, Noah with Aunt Ruth first."

"Can I stay at Uncle Kenny's?"

"Of course you can, but mom will ask Uncle Kenny first, trouble or not."

"All right, Ma."

"Don't be naughty, mama won't call after asking Uncle Kenny's permission!"

Stella hung up, and called Kenny.

"Hi, Kenny sorry to interrupt. Noah can stay at your place. I'm in Washington right now."

"Oh, Stell, of course you can. We are happy to welcome Noah home. I'll pick him up."

"Oh, thank you so much Kenny."

Stella calls her son, Noah tells her she can stay at Kenny's house while Stella is away. Noah was so happy to know.

Stella walks into a hotel room, puts her suitcase near the closet, then stands by the window looking at the view outside.

"I miss you Kevin."
