The Princess Story's
Bringing home the beggar

"Ouhh. How could those people be allowed into the capital" said a middle-aged man.

"Did they carry disease? Look at their bodies full of rotting wounds. Ishh...! It's terrible!." said one woman.

"blah blah blah...."

Many people commented seeing something horrendous in front of the restaurant door.

Se Se stepped forward, trying to figure out what was going on. He then saw a woman in her 30s kneeling.

The woman was holding a toddler, who looked to be 3 years old. Beside him were two boys who were about 8 and 10 years old.

The two boys were not wearing clothes. They only wear black trousers.

Their bodies were extremely thin and filled with already festering wounds. Some parts of their body also bleed. Their hands and feet looked black as if they were rotting.

A young man in luxurious clothes stood not far from the Mother and the children. Beside him were a few bodyguards holding wooden sticks.

"Sir, please forgive my son. Please forgive the child. Servant please!" said the woman who was on her knees.

The woman continued to plead while kneeling and banging her head on the ground. Every now and then toddlers in her arms hit the hard ground.

"Low humans like you, how dare to dirty my clothes! Do you know how much this shirt costs?" the man snapped while kicking the woman kneeling in front of him.

The woman fell down, unconsciously holding her body with both hands so as to release the toddler who was in her arms. The toddler's head hit the ground and spat out blood.

Se Se looked angry, staring at the people who witnessed the incident. They looked disgusted and there was not the slightest feeling of pity on the woman in front of him.

"Hufff...!"

Se Se let out a long breath.

"In modern life or present life, man never changes" he said in his heart.

"Punch them to death!" the young man's orders to his bodyguard.

Both guards swung their wooden sticks. Immediately Se Se advanced forward and held the wooden stick with his body.

"BABEH!"

The girl's face was visibly in pain withstanding the blow from the wooden stick. Everyone was surprised to see that. Ling Er who watched from afar immediately ran over to his Miss.

"How dare you beat up Nonaku!" snapped Ling Er at the two bodyguards.

"Only a servant, still dares to shout in front of the noble. Phey...! " the young man's lips with his vicious face while spitting on the ground.

Se Se stood up and snatched the wooden stick from the guard's hand. He swung the baton and hit the two bodyguards with a single move. Then he walked over to the young man in front of him.

Pointing a stick to the young man's face, he said "You, apologize to them, then I'll let you go!"

"HAHAHA... Are my ears broken? Or is Miss joking with me?" the young man's laughter was an understatement.

"MUGHHH...!"

The wand swung and landed behind the young man's knee. He fell down on his knees.

"I'm sorry, or this stick will land on your body!" threaten the girl who has been filled with anger.

"YOU...! YOU....! how dare you hit me!! Do you know who I am???"

"I don't need to know someone like you. You look even inferior to animals!" se Se replied in a flat voice.

"MUGHHH...!"

The stick returned in a swing and now landed on his back. The young man fell to the point that his lips smelled the ground.

"Sorry, or the next blow, will land on your feet!" threaten the girl.

His eyes gave off an extremely powerful murderous aura, making the people who saw him feel horrified and frightened.

The young man finally apologized for being forced to fear that his legs would be beaten.

"Your laughing voice earlier, can even be heard up to the palace. Why is your apology not heard here?" se Se asked while stepping on the back foot of the young man.

"FORGIVE ME, I'M SORRY...!" the young man shouted, apologizing for fear.

Se Se smiled in satisfaction and lifted his legs off the young man's back. He lowered his knee to the ground and examined the toddler in his mother's sling.

"Ling Er, ask the coachman to bring the carriage here. We have to treat them immediately" Se Se said.

"Alright, Miss" Ling Er replied

The horse carriage stopped in front of him. Se Se helped the children and the woman to get into the carriage. The woman continued to cry, while hugging the toddler who was still bleeding on her head.

The train ran fast and stopped in front of the treatment clinic. Se Se helped them down and had the healer check the toddler's wounds first.

The physician looked at them with a look of disdain. The doctor then requested that they be transferred to another clinic. "Sorry Miss, but I can't treat them. Miss just take it to the clinic at this crossroads."

Se Se clenched his hands, wanting it to feel like he had immediately destroyed that treatment clinic. But she held back her anger, hearing the cries of the increasingly weakened toddler.

They returned to the horse-drawn carriage and the girl asked her coachman to return to Huang's residence immediately. Arriving there, Se Se asked Ling Er to prepare hot water and a clean cloth.

Se Se brought them into his room and laid the toddler on the bed. Ling Er came in carrying a clean cloth and placed it beside the bed.

Se Se took out a few medical devices from his dimension room, he examined the toddler thoroughly. Se Se picked up a pair of scissors and cut the toddler's hair carefully.

"What did the lady do?" asked the toddler's mother to panic, because she saw her son's hair cut.

Se Se realized there were still people watching him. He couldn't possibly sew this toddler's head in front of his mother. This is an inappropriate time to treat someone's wound with stitches.

"I'll save this kid, please come out first. I need a quiet place so that nothing goes wrong." Se Se explained and then glanced at Ling Er with the tip of her eyes.

Ling Er understood what her Miss meant. She invited her mother and her two children to wait in the courtyard.

After a quiet state, Se Se took out a syringe and a small bottle filled with clear liquid. He injected the liquid into the toddler.

Then he picked up the needle and thread, and then began to sew the wound on the toddler's head. The wound was quite large because it hit a pebble. After sewing, he covered the wound with a bandage.

The girl then took a piece of cloth beside her and rinsed it with warm water that Ling Er had brought. He began to clean the toddler's body with a cloth in his hand.

Unbeknownst to him, a pair of eyes were watching him from the ceiling of the room. The person watching him looked amazed at the treatment the girl was doing.

Se Se opened the room door and called out to Ling Er. He asked his servant to bring food. The kids are sitting in the garden chair. They look miserable with wounds all over the body.

Ling Er came carrying several dishes and three bowls of rice. Ling Er poured tea into the cup, but a moment later she stopped pouring and asked Ling Er to bring warm water.

Tea will damage the stomach if drunk on an empty stomach. So Se Se replaced it with warm water.

Just a few minutes Ling Er had brought the water. Se Se threw away the tea inside the cup and replaced it with warm water.

"Drink this water first, before eating" he told those who were still sitting silent.

The mother and son looked at each other, not daring to touch the cup on the table. Looking at those who were worried, the girl calmed the mother and children down with a gentle word she rarely spoke.

"Nobody's gonna hurt you here. Please drink a little, then eat this."

Seeing no evil intentions on the face of the friendly Miss nearby, the mother and children finally took the cup in front of her and drank the water in one gulp.

"Currus..."

The empty cups were filled again by Se Se. He allowed the mother and child to eat, then stepped into the room so they could eat freely.

THE RESIDENCE OF KING WEI

Yu stood at the entrance of King Wei's study. He reported all of his observations today. Starting from Princess Huang out of the residence until she sewed a wound on the toddler's head.

King Wei did not believe what he heard. A noble Miss saved a street beggar even withstanding a blow to a beggar. That, is not something that can be trusted just like that.

King Wei took his mask and headed to the Huang residence. He wanted to see for himself what his former bride-to-be was doing.
