Proposal
A Few Days Later
The group that delivered the proposal gift had arrived in front of Huang's residence. Five horse-drawn carriages were carrying large wooden boxes.
Some of the bodyguards were wearing bright red clothes and a middle-aged woman called Li Momo, was standing in front of the gate.
The gatekeeper who saw the entourage, immediately reported the matter to Master and Lady Huang. They were in the main hall with Ye Yuan. After hearing the report from the guard, they walked towards the gate.
Li Momo looked down respectfully and said a greeting, "Good morning Mr and Mrs Huang, I am here to deliver a proposal gift to Miss Huang.
"Young Master our family will soon be having their engagement party. Please Sir check this gift list, if there is no problem, I will hand this gift to Miss Huang."
Master Huang, Madam Huang and Ye Yuan frowned at them, shocked to hear Li Momo's explanation.
Ye Yuan then asked Li Momo, "Who is the Young Master that Momo referring to and who is your Young Master applying for?"
"My Young Master is named Ou Yang Chien, he is the first son of the Ou family, General Ou Yang Feng. I'm here to propose to the first Miss of the Huang family." Li Momo replied explaining.
Ye Yuan and his father stared at each other, they could not believe that the son of General Ou could send a proposal to his little girl.
"Li Momo, is momo not the wrong address? Are momo sure, this proposal gift is in the direction of my daughter?" ask Great Lord Huang.
Li Momo smiled slightly and replied, "I'm very sure if this gift is, rightly addressed to Miss Huang!"
Madam Xin clenched her grasp, she did not like this proposal. He did not want the girl he hated to live happily as the mistress of the general's family.
Madam Xin then said, "Li Momo, are you sure that the proposal was addressed to the first lady? How could Young Master Ou get to know the first lady of the Huang family who was always in the room? Maybe Li Momo remembered it wrong."
Li Momo nodded her head and replied, "Young Master Ou wrote Miss Huang Se Se's name in this gift list book. Please look at Madam!"
Madam Xin was stunned when she saw the gift book, in the book was recorded all expensive and luxurious items, she could not even afford to buy one of them despite having skimmed for several years.
Madam Xin's face began to show envy and jealousy. He said inwardly, "Why is that bitch always lucky? I will kill her before she becomes the young Madam in the General's residence!"
Meanwhile Ling Er was running towards her master's room.
"Miss, there's good news for miss!" ling Er smiled happily.
Se Se looked at him with a confused face. "What good news? Is it raining gold outside?"
"Well, what a great lady to guess! There is a group that brings a lot of gifts for the lady" said Ling Er with a happy face.
"DIG!"
Se Se was shocked to hear that. His face became serious and his cold eyes seemed to be able to freeze everyone who saw him.
"Sooner or later, this day will come. What am I worried about?" he said inwardly.
Se Se put on his shoes and then walked towards the gate. He approached the crowd and greeted his father and brother.
"Se Se, do you know Young Master Ou?" ask father.
"Then do you know today Young Master Ou will propose to you?" ask her father again with a curious face.
"Yes, I found out about it a few days ago." replied Se Se with an expressionless face.
Li Momo smiled kindly and held Se Se's hand. He looked very happy to see the girl in front of him.
"I was very happy when the young master asked me to send you a proposal gift. It's the first time a young master has come into contact with a girl" Li Momo said, still holding Se Se's hand.
"Thank you for troubling momo. I will receive this gift." said Se Se still with an expressionless face.
Ye Yuan looked at his sister's face and began to ask inwardly, "He looks unhappy with this proposal, why did he accept it?"
The party left the Huang residence after bringing in all the gifts. The gift was placed in Se Se's small, narrow room. She intended to put all the gifts into her dimension room, so as not to be taken by Madam Xin and her two half-sisters. He would return the gifts to Ou Yang Chien when their engagement was canceled.
Master Huang sent Se Se to the main hall, his two half-sisters were also there.
"Se Se, why did you get in touch with Young Master Ou?" ask her father who is angry and does not like the relationship.
"I just like it. There's no other reason." Se Se's answer was lying.
Ye Yuan could not believe his sister's answer, he felt that his sister was hiding something.
Prime Minister Huang and General Ou are political enemies. They are always competing in everything. Mr. Huang wasn't angry that Se Se liked the child of his political enemies, he was just worried that his daughter would have a hard time getting married to that young man.
"Daughter, father won't get in the way of your relationship. But remember one thing, I will always be on your side. If that young man makes you suffer, I'll break this engagement, even if it damages our family's good name" he said.
"Thank you, dad!" se Se replied holding back her tears, she was touched by her father's words.
Meanwhile, Madam Xin and her two daughters were burning flames of jealousy and envy towards Se Se who was considered lucky by them.

The news of General Ou's son proposing to the First Miss of the Huang family had already reached King Wei's ears.
His heart was agitated, anxious, angry and became unbecoming. He was very panicked to hear the news from Yu.
"I'll kill him!" that's the sentence that King Wei said when he heard the news that Yu said.
King Wei drove his horse towards the Huang residence. He broke through the gate with his horse and headed to Se Se's room. King Wei dropped all the guards who tried to stop him.
"Brakkk!!"
King Wei kicked the door. Se Se turned to look at the door to see what was happening.
The door to his room fell in two. He looked at the bully against the door, with a displeased look.
He walked over to Se Se who was sitting on the long chair and pulled his hand violently. Se Se stood in front of the young man, his hands held by King Wei, their eyes fixed on each other.
