Ep 24's. Flogging
King Wei whispered to a servant. The waiter nodded and walked away. Not long after, the maid returned with a lot of fancy food and placed it on Princess Huang's table.
"Daughter Huang, this meal was ordered by King Wei for you. Please enjoy." said the waiter.
"Did he think I was a pig?" inner Se Se while looking at King Wei.
King Wei smiled back at his gaze and then said, "Eat...! Food is special to you."
Se Se frowned and a second later his face came back flat. He picked up the chopsticks and said, "Thank you for the meal His Majesty King Wei."
"Whatever your purpose, it's a pity that this delicious food is not enjoyed" he murmured as he began to put food in his mouth.
King Wei was a little surprised by his attitude, but according to him it was not bad because a submissive person was preferred over a dissident.
Se Se's two half-brothers looked at him full of jealousy. They watched King Wei who continued to look at the girl with a smiling face.
"What King Wei saw from the bitch." Inner Lin Wan.
"The seductive bitch who looks like her mother." Min Wan's inner.
The show continued until night. There was a free event where the Prince and the noble ladies were allowed to get acquainted and chat together regardless of title.
King Wei sat with the Crown Prince in a gazebo located in the middle of the palace garden. They only watched the passing girl in front of him.
"PIGKKK..."
There was a sound coming from the gazebo in the middle of the pool. King Wei and Crown Prince stared at each other then stood walking towards the source of the voice.
"Sister, Lin Wan is guilty, please forgive Lin Wan. Hiksss hikss.." Lin Wan's drama in front of everyone.
Huang Lin Wan sat on the floor while holding her slightly flushed face from Se Se's slap.
"Remove your tears. I'm sick of seeing it." said Se Se cynically.
The noble girls and the Prince surrounded the place, seeing there were interesting free throws.
"First Brother, I know I'm just a concubine's son, but we still have a sibling relationship. Why does my brother always bully me? hikss hikss.." Lin Wan's drama asks the audience for mercy.
Se Se stared at her with disdain, she held back her murderous aura from exploding. Se Se found it difficult to control the emotions he had been hiding.
"What's going on here?" ask the Queen to come closer.
"Our respect to Her Majesty the Queen." Everyone is saluting.
"Your Majesty... Princess Huang suddenly slapped Miss Huang Lin Wan in the face. That's why there's this commotion." obviously Miss Gu provoked the Queen's anger.
The queen turned her head towards Huang Se Se and asked "Is that really Princess Huang?"
"Right Your Majesty, I slapped him because he indeed deserved it" Se Se replied staring intently at Huang Lin Wan.
"Supply!!! How dare you be disrespectful in front of Her Majesty the Queen." said the Queen's maid who was not happy to hear the girl's reply.
At first they did not know that the girl was Princess Huang. Upon hearing the name, prejudice arose in the hearts of the Queen and her servants. Due to the rumors circulating, they had a negative view towards Princess Huang.
Feeling that the rumors were indeed true, the Queen thought of a way to teach the girl a lesson.
Huang Lin Wan and Huang Min Wan glanced at each other and smiled triumphantly. They're glad the Queen's on his side.
"Why did you slap him?" ask the Crown Prince to try to understand the situation.
Se Se was silent not answering. He recalled what Lin Wan had just said to him.
"Sister, you look a lot like your real mother who has that seductive face! even your nature is the same. Before you married me, your mother was a bitch with many men."
How could Se Se Se possibly repeat that sentence in front of those who were waiting for an answer. He was not willing if the birth mother of the owner of this body was insulted like that. Especially if the sentence has to come out of his mouth even if only to explain this problem.
He clenched his fingers and replied, "I can't tell you why Your Majesty!"
"If the Princess can't say the reason, I will conclude that the Princess acted arbitrarily. Was Princess Huang more willing to accept punishment than explain it?" ask Queen.
"I'm willing to accept punishment." Se Se replied firmly.
"Eunuch Ma, what is the punishment for a person acting disrespectfully in the palace?" the Queen asked a eunuch who was there.
"The disrespectful man in the palace will be whipped 30 times by His Majesty." replied Eunuch Ma.
"Bring Princess Huang to the punishment room!" queen's orders.
"Mother Queen..." The Crown Prince tried to stop, but before he said further, a hand pulled the end of his sleeve.
He glanced at the owner of the arm. Se Se shook his head to signal for the Crown Prince not to continue with his words. Se Se knows that the more the Crown Prince protects her, the more the Queen's hatred will increase.
He was taken to a dark room in the basement where the punishment was. Two men dressed in royal guards tied him to a wooden cross.
"Princess Huang, we're just following orders. Please Princess Huang not be offended." said a bodyguard before starting to whip her.
"I already know." replied Se Se slowly.
"SHUTTT SYUTTT..."
The bodyguards began to lift the whip and pointed it at Se Se's body. The girl simply closed her eyes and accepted the lash. Sweat began to wet his forehead and face.
After the count of thirty, the bodyguard opened the leash on Se Se's arm. He then walked weakly out with his clothes drenched in blood. His clothes look torn in some parts.
King Wei stood at the door waiting for someone. He saw the girl who was waiting to walk out of the dark room with a bloody body and clothes that were no longer worth wearing.
King Wei took off his robe while walking towards the girl. He put the robe on the girl in front of him. Se Se raised his head, he looked at who the person who was trying to help him was.
He blinked a few times to clarify the blurred vision as it was covered in his cold sweat.
"King Wei.." muttered Se Se.
He fell down and landed in the arms of King Wei. King Wei carried him to the horse-drawn carriage. He told his coachman to speed quickly to his residence.
While Huang Lin Wan, Huang Min Wan and Gu Ching Lien were looking from afar with their jealous faces.
