Ep 88's. Queen's Childbirth
"Your Majesty, the Empress is about to give birth." Yu reported to King Wei.
King Wei immediately ran to the room, he was waiting at the door with Ye Yuan and Yu.
Ling Er and the midwife were already panicking inside the room, Ling Er went in and out carrying warm water and threw out a bucket that was already full of blood.
The faces of the two young men became panicked at the sight of so much blood.
"What's going on inside? why so much blood?" ask King Wei.
"Hamba doesn't know Your Majesty, the midwife is helping the Empress deliver, but the baby inside the Empress' stomach hasn't come out yet" Ling Er replied with a worried face.
"Akhhh... hurts!" se Se shouted from inside the room.
King Wei panicked to hear his wife's scream, intending to enter the room. Ye Yuan held back King Wei's move, he didn't want the young man to interfere with his sister's labor process.
"Calm down, just wait here. You can't help him even if he's inside." Ye Yuan said.
King Wei listened to Ye Yuan's words, the young man walked back and forth like an iron in front of the room door. His heart was agitated at the sound of pain coming from his wife's lips.
"I won't let her get pregnant and give birth again." Inner King Wei.
Mr. Huang had just arrived at the residence, he was waiting at the door of the room. For several hours they heard Se Se's moans, but the baby inside the girl's stomach had not yet been born.
The midwife and Ling Er looked worriedly at Se Se's pale and weak face, they continued to encourage the girl to endure this painful labor.
"The Empress, hang on a little bit more, the baby's head is already visible" said the midwife.
"Miss, you have to stay sober, hold on until this baby is born. Miss has to be strong pushing her baby." said Ling Er with a worried face.
Both of Se Se's hands clasped onto the bedpost, he endured the pain felt all over his body. Cold sweat soaked the girl's face and hair.
"Ling Er, I'm not strong anymore. Please get my baby out. Take this knife, get my baby out of the stomach" Se Se said as he handed a small knife to Ling Er.
"Miss, what are you saying? You can't give up. Miss and baby must survive, you two must survive." Ling Er said while crying bitterly beside Se Se.
King Wei heard the words the two girls said, he immediately entered the room and blocked his wife's intentions.
"What did you say? You're gonna give your life for that baby?" snapped King Wei.
Se Se looked at her husband's face full of anger, she forced a smile on his face and said, "Xuan.I love you, but I love the baby who is inside here too." Se Se touched his stomach.
King Wei looked furious, he did not expect Se Se to choose his baby over his own life.
"Do you love her so much? do you love her so much that you intend to kill yourself? Who...who is the father of the baby? Do you love that man? That's why you chose the baby's life in your stomach over your own?" asked King Wei with a burning fire in his heart.
Se Se was still smiling weakly, he looked at King Wei's face with teary eyes.
"But Miss..." Ling Er wanted to refute Se Se's orders.
"Hurry out!" se Se's orders with a higher tone yet still sounded weak.
Ling Er brought the midwife out, she closed the door and stood guard in front so that no one would come in.
"Close here!" pinta Se Se on the angry young man before her.
King Wei clenched his fingers, he drew closer to Se Se's bed and knelt on the floor.
Se Se took off the mask that King Wei was wearing, he touched the young man's cheek then said, "Your Majesty, I have done something wrong. My mistake was to love him. I love this baby's father. Without me knowing it, this love has grown so much that I will give it my life. Without me knowing it, this love has taken root into my heart and heart."
Se Se stroked the face of King Wei who was getting wet from tears. The man looked disappointed to hear the answer coming out of the girl's lips.
"Do you prefer that guy over me? Are you still mad at me because I have hidden my real name? Can't you give me a chance to make amends?
Se Se shook his head slowly, he turned the ring on his finger then said, "Xuan. I love you, I love our baby."
King Wei opened his eyes wide, he could not believe his vision. Several times he blinked his eyes, the young man was surprised to see the face of the girl who was lying weak.
He recalled his first night with Florence, now that the girl was in front of him.
"I've been looking for someone next to me. Hahaha..I'm really stupid." Inner King Wei.
King Wei clasped Se Se's palm, the hand was cold from enduring the pain, he shed tears at the pain his wife was feeling. His heart ached to remember he could do nothing to alleviate the pain.
"Xuan..if I am unconscious, please do this for me, for our baby." said Se Se while handing over a small knife in his hand. "Save our baby, whatever happens, you have to save this little baby's life."
King Wei was silent, he did not want to hurt his wife, he was unable to do so. If he had to choose, he would have saved his wife's life from that unborn baby.
Se Se turned back the ring on his finger, he asked King Wei to call Ling Er and the midwife to help him.
With the last remaining force, the girl attempted to push out the baby that had already seen the tip of her head. Ling Er was at the side to cheer up his Miss, King Wei continued to clasp his wife's hand which shook withstanding the pain.
Several court physicians had been sent by the Emperor to assist in the Empress's delivery. The Crown Prince who heard the news also immediately headed to King Wei's residence.
The palace physician made medicinal herbs for Se Se who lost a lot of energy, the medicine would increase his energy and keep his consciousness awake.
King Wei gave the medicine to Se Se. Using a spoon, slowly put the liquid medicine into his mouth.
